Switzerland was the 22nd country I visited. I entered Switzerland in October, but got very lucky with the weather and had the most perfect autumn ride. I only stayed there for two nights. On the first night I was hosted by Andi Koru near Zurich. Andi is a world traveler who I’ve been in touch with for a while and now we finally got to meet. These days Andi is working for Lone Rider and I had the opportunity to see the prototype of their new Adv Tent on the night.

On the second night I was invited to join RTW rider Lea Rieck and her friends for the night in a boutique hotel in Sporz and that was just unforgettable luxury.

And in between were plenty of incredible Alps mountain passes.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Throughout my journey I’m raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family lead as normal a li

    1. Another great episode Kinga. I'm envious of your new tent, looks very robust with plenty of room inside. My bivi tent is like a coffin, purchase was a big mistake, no room inside to store stuff !! Happy travels and stay safe. I'm following you… oops, sounds creepy, not meant like that.

    2. 40 Swiss Francs is 54 Canadian dollars. As far as i can google 3 days is the same as one year. Fifty bucks. Times two if you pull a trailer. Worth it for the scenery alone. Fantastic ride.
I like your choppy editing and music. It works and it reflects your personality… and your hair. Ha….
I had Swiss farming neighbours growing up. As a boy i worked for them haying etc. They fed me lunch sometimes but refused to pay me anything. But they did get togetehr with two neighbours, bought the local dairy, built it up, sold it for a fortune, and fucked off back to Switzwerland. to retire. They were courteous to a fault but never planned to stay longer than it took to get enough money to go home. Took them about 50 years to become wealthy. Hard workers, happy and very smart. A little bit like the Amish that way.
Keep your windscreen with the crack in it. It's a trophy and a caution.

    5. Bit late to comment but just found the channel recently. You drove by just a couple 100m from my home…at least it sure looks like it when I see your route on the map.
