The road between Durres and Schkoder in Albania isn’t ideal if you are after a relaxed cycle ride! Fast moving traffic on dual and single lane, meant that I spent most of the day trying to keep to the right hand side of the white line. Still, I made it to the campsite after 100kms just fine! This is my last night in Albania, a country which I will return to in order to do more bicycle touring in the near future!

Wow, you would not want to cycle in the dark and end up in one of those drain holes. The roads are a bit like Australian country highways with little or no shoulders for safe cycling. Stay safe mate.
