this area so we may as well film some capture in history as well aren’t we so the main contractor here is Mace mace limited and this is the steel structure that they have got up so far with the concrete staircases and concrete lift shaft very open plan inside got some sort of lift shaft over there as well Stacks and stacks of traffic Marshals and construction workers down at the entrance what you doing sir what’s that what you doing sir just film in YouTube or something YouTube what’s it going to be uh that’s going to be a data center ah uh I don’t know if I can disclose an information to be honest but oh you’re involved I just thought you as a member of the public you work there I work on the cranes oh right yeah well it’s too windy today for the cranes to work so we’re just waiting till the wind dies down so all the cranes stopped at the moment yes yeah that’s good cuz I’m going to take the drone over in a minute to get some aerial photography oh so that’s good to on construction or just industrial Estates oh okay is is it a good earner yes plays well yeah yes G number boys get his number we going to quit the job tomorrow then but it’s unusual to have a data center with so many flaws yeah you know that yeah normally they about two floors High yeah yeah you men any amount of servers that’s going in there they started to be bigger and bigger this one the other one there this is this one the white building also data center yeah that’s that’s about the same s of but they need a lot of cooling don’t they absolutely yeah I mean I’ve only ever worked on four they’ve all been two stories high and uh you’re you’re right I mean the the void they leave under the floor for the uh for the air is phenomenal and they do generate lots and lots and lots of heat so how’s the Heat going to be uh pulled out of this one I don’t know I’m not intelligent enough to uh to [Music] understand what’s the at the back the two story at the back I say uh have to talk to him he doesn’t to go substation the best person me the excuse me Sub Station all all the juice lots of big bosses on site it seems with their shirt and ties check in the progress construction staff seem very relaxed don’t they and the sub station housing is at the back brilliant send the L be careful guys yeah has to be the GU was parking [Music] here so that was gate number three let’s go and see what other Gates there are because I presume there are at least two more that’s going to have a look so I presume this is gate number two although it doesn’t say it at all we get a nice look in there’s the big wig and that’s what it looks like actually inside not very often you see inside these places at [Music] all great who is it for the recording who is it for no where you record [Music] on so then we come to gate number one yeah he kind of look like one not not necessarily it depends what it does with it [Music] good good there L okay so what are you using for what the recording what are having some sort of audit themselves it seem talking about vehicle checking in and out we have got a SE lock checking in operation guidelines here so the vehicle operator must be certified fors we’ve seen that before and if the vehicle is over 3.5 ton it must have certain kits fitted as well and the driver must have a valid driving license for the the vehicle they are driving surely they’re not going to check the driving license and they can refuse you access of course we know that so we’ve had a good look around from the outside we know it’s going to be a data center it’s the biggest data center I’ve ever seen I think the only thing to do now is get David up so let’s do it let’s see what this place looks like from the B every yeah you drone you’re not going near the cranes are you it’s too windy for cranes today you’re not coming over the site near the cranes are you yes you can’t come over the site with the cranes let me hear your argument sorry let me hear your point of view I’m not here to discuss it I’m just I’m just that’s all I’m going to say what I’m going to say in reply is it’s too windy for cranes today so matter with it’s windy or not it’s too windy for cranes today so no cranes are operational so there’s no safety hazard for drones here there okay okay so as always we’ve checked on drone assist we are in the EGR 160 at the moment which does not apply to drones it only applies to manned aircraft so this new data center here in Acton let’s have a look at you then shall we home Point updated so there we are 25 M and we can see the group of bosses down there just checking up on their site this will be a multi million pound construction project that is for sure and they want to make sure they’re getting every three pennies worth so tower crane number one deals with materials required in this area and they have a number two the number three and the number five and they even have access platforms that have been loaded up to the upper levels and they’ve got their own tracks that they work on look just I presume concrete will be poured into this corrugated flooring yeah there’s some concrete being poured just there to make it a very very strong building hey mate just quickly all I’m worried about is we’ve got really high winds up there we’ve got Lads on the floors that’s not going to blow into anyone is it I’ll give you an example I’m not touching no controls and look at it it’s holding its own position yeah so the wind is not stronger than the motors that’s fine as long as you’re confident I’ve proved it to you there okay so on top of the site offices we have a lovely decking area with benches that is very unusual how nice does that look this really is some sort of luxurious construction project isn’t it and as we go further toward W the back of the site we can see the foundations these steel pilings that have been pushed into the ground and we’ve also got some tanks in the ground that have been buried as well and down at the back we can see this substation which they mentioned earlier it will certainly need a lot of power a data center of this size so once again capturing footage for historical purposes cuz it won’t be long until this place is fully built and operational and you can look back on this footage and say wow we want 4 a a data center so it’s a bit too windy to get any higher than to do the 360° shot sense a little bit of entitlement there but it wasn’t too bad was it so we’ll leave that one here when it’s up and running and it has lots of Staff inside it will give you lots more business won’t it
