Bought this bike used a few months ago and put maybe 400 miles on it.

Was in a group ride yesterday and somebody slammed on their brakes coming up on some medium sized pot holes – I tried avoid but one of the pot holes bounced me back towards the rear wheel and we made contact. I fell over as did another guy behind me. No serious injuries to anybody luckily. Didn’t even think to look over the frame until the ride was over.

Time to find a metal frame to transfer all the parts over to.

Is that really compromised? Does the front fork always look like a bulldog’s front legs?

    2. Now you ca get Specialized and be happy with good quality :C I saw too many buster Trek from small crashes

Might as well milk it for a dozen upvotes while you’re down.

Also, that’s totally fixable (not diy though).

Yep. That can be fixed. Had something similar on a fairly new team edition cannondale mtb. Got it repaired and flogged it for years. I still ride it.

    5. If the damage is away from any tube junctions a carbon repair specialist could easily fix the damage. Carbon is essentially infinitely repairable if it is mid tube where you can wrap and reinforce the damaged area

Who the hell slams their brakes for potholes??? Idiots who can’t ride properly endager the whole group. Look what they did to you.
How hard is it to point out a pothole to the group, then do a small swerve, or simply lift the front wheel?
