That really a 3170 kg vehicle? I knew they were useless but had a company tax advantage (now removed) but a revue weight of 3170 kg means that 350 kg of passengers would put it above the 3.5T weight limit where everyone who has passed a driving licence this century will need to do the extra test for a Light Goods Vehicle.

Great result, maybe they should start looking at making the fines and costs higher, people can pay £10s thousands for a vehicle, and they get a fine and costs of around £500. a set of tyres can cost more ….Do the courts /DVLA supply points data to insurance companies ? Is it right that insurance companies do have access to a drivers license details
He won’t be shrugging his shoulders when the court decides his punishment. Attitude to getting caught really irritates me. Driving is a privilege, not a right. Stop abusing it, concentrate on driving and leave your phone alone!!! 🙄

At infant school, many years ago, I remember my teacher chastising me for "telling tales." Presumably, she weighed up the opportunity of garnering a bit of information on a fellow pupil against the negative effect of having a class full of suspicion and resentments. Telling on your fellow citizens never works out well for society in the long run. By all means, report something if you happen upon it. But actively seeking out your fellow citizens is pretty sick in my opinion, and I should imagine the majority of the population thinks the same.
