my name is Mike you’re watch Spud boys TV and ladies and gentlemen yes I am currently in what’s known as land rney in ciff down there is land Remy I’m up on um I don’t know if it’s like Newport Road I’ve always called a Newport Road but apparently it changes to ciff road which is right by here and today you’ve guessed it we are going for a little bit of a walk we are going to be walking from here all the way down into Newport I’m going to go down that lane there cuz I don’t know where it leads I actually don’t know how long it’s going to take me but there’s a little bit of this and a little bit of this look down here in this Vlog so sit back strap in those seat belts and let’s go on an adventure I don’t want to do it people looking at me feels like I haven’t done that in ages how far is Lum to Newport 8 miles from to Newport is 8.0 miles that’s a walk though 7 miles if you walk but 8 Miles if you drive that makes no sense this Vlog might possibly be quite long so beware action sff [ __ ] glood I think it’s safe to say I have never ever ever walked I’ve never walked to Newport but I’ve never walked down this pathway it’s a bit nippy I do have a um my hoodie in my bag though so if it gets a little bit nipply and then we will put on our nipply jacket should we do another action sniff action sniff I forgot I’m not wearing glasses normally I could lose an eye um I might have gone the wrong way already um but yeah but if you just want to give this um this Vlog a nice little subscribe um and also give it a thumbs up that would be awesome that would help basically push the until you’ve done it there you go you done it okay so this is our current location oh it’s a church here we’ve stumbled upon a church which is playing ice cream van music my favorite kind of church bethia Row Old St Melons I’m in okay look at that back yarden that’s awesome i’ love to go and explore h ah yes ah the fox now’s perfect this is perfect ladies and gentlemen it is exactly where we need to be o what a grave W it’s an old Cemetery can we get in there no it’s proper locked up what M there ooh spooky I hate being touched and let this by delicious lady boy so this here ladies and gentlemen is the Fox and Hounds man I haven’t been in here for years I remember we used to come here when I was a kid so I don’t know which part I’m actually in right now but that side is L Romney and that side is St melons so I’m just on the on the middle bit so we look up here there used to be a pub here called the white hat I believe they changed the name of the pub oh no used to be called the Blue Bellin um I think it’s called the white hat now or these to be two pubs do you know what I don’t actually know I’m sure it was the white hat no it was a Blue Bell it was a Blue Bell cuz it used to have loads of blue bells outside history with mik [ __ ] so back in the day when I used to live with my papa we used to go walking down here and I believe it’s this path here you walk up there oh you can see the top of it is an old graveyard so you us to come down you us to get popping crisp swimming there and then we us to sit in the old graveyard reminiscing looking at the graves and stuff that was a cool little memory that’s cheating I want one of them I do feel like I want to be on this side here because there’s an old house here um we just going to have a cheeky little look at of course we want to look we are here to make content even if it is a really old house just through there look oh do I run oh I should have run I should have run oh God if I don’t feel safe here let me go with this pole so the pole will save me if anyone decides to Ram their car into me yeah I totally just run a little bit let’s have a little look I’m not going to I’m not going to go I’m not going you go you seen the house no I never ever ever in my life done that to anyone wanting to know where I am so St m is to the right William Nicholas dri is to the right left through traffic is straight ahead I should say Newport but yeah we at this this is the way we’re going wa Mike the traffic is crazy well ladies and gents that’s because that’s because Taylor Swift is currently currently in Cardiff she has was it she has spread her presence in Cardiff and it’s just manic because I normally go into ciff and then I’d find my way home from Cardiff but today I thought we’ll do something Nicholas Drive I sure I’ve been down here but when I was a kid This was oh [ __ ] when I was a kid this was a new estate are they just building it I’m sure you can get that way you can go that way to lamb Romney now there used to be like an old test it’s probably still there you can go that that that goes down into sa melons but we are going straight right into the heart of [Laughter] Newport silence so down here I thought if I cross on this side I’ll be okay because the path and [ __ ] but it doesn’t look like the path goes any further so might cuz it goes onto the road here the last thing want to was walk on the road and get hit by an oncoming car so I’m assuming I go this way ooh is this a delicious Meadow in St melon’s Meadow I do love this though I do love adventuring I love just talking to you whoever’s listening right now cuz you’re my friends I don’t have many friends but you guys are my friends oh I do think St melons is still that way now I do want to venture off and see what’s down there but I do know down here there are a couple of things that I want to look at I want to have a cheeky little look um I’m not going to cause any Mischief really but um yeah there’s a couple of things down here I want to have a little look at um I’ve always seen them when I go p on a bus so I’ve always wondered if if it’s worth having a look at and now we get to do it we get to a moth to the [Laughter] flame all I had to do is wait 20 minutes and I would have got a bus but then we would never know if we got on that bus we would never know that this Lane is called vandre vandre Lane will he fit yes I did I didn’t think I would have then that garage there has a cost of coffee wouldn’t that be delicious a nice coffee to keep me energized through this walk no it wouldn’t cuz I don’t like coffee I don’t know if you can see that post it says if we go right left left if we go left we can go towards Cardiff via the M4 if we keep going forward we go to c n noort and that’s that’s where we’re going action sniff so down there that will take you to the Heron Marsh and other places um that I’ve never been to but I know the Heron Mar is down there I’m going have to make it do we going to have to run oh God we going to run no we don’t run for nothing not even buses I don’t even run for buses basically if I’m trying to get a bus and the bus is there and I’m late I will not run for the bus I believe there’s two reasons one because um if you’re going to be late then it’s your own fault and two everyone will laugh at you on the bus so I’d rather not run and be early always be early a little bit of advice for you there ladies and gentlemen if you ever got anything planned always be early just be a little bit early okay beely oh fast and fous down there we found a garden center shall we have a cheeky look in the garden center I wonder if they got any cool uh any cool cookies or anything like that do we or should we just keep walking I do need to get a drink sorry the wind is batter than you so over here is um something I did want to look at but I I’m pretty sure it’s someone’s house now the only problem is is crossing this road now this road is really really busy um so I’m not going to do it but I’m pretty sure that’s someone’s house if I just wander down there it’s just crossing this road it’s a Bast this is the whole reason I crossed on this side oh you can actually walk that side and we need to be on that side for the other stuff anyway so that’s what we’ll do so anyway this is a good thing I just hope nobody shouts at me profanity hey hey hey you out and about to David mode ladies and J’s first person well we go down here I’m not sure about this cuz Farm has got guns and stuff haven’t they and you might think I’m a delinquent come to set fire to his property but I don’t know what this is so I’m that’s the whole point I’m sure it’s just Farmland I’m sure I can walk over cuz look this is public access to most Fields but what piqued my interest is by here it looks like an old house like an old uh an old house so well that is definitely someone’s property in there I don’t know where the old house is sure might not be all I don’t I’m not going to do it because obviously it’s taking a piss in it but I thought the house would be here there’s not in the house it looks like an old wall I don’t even know where I am just see where this leads might be like a secret path no it’s it’s definitely someone’s house okay we do not want to go down there cuz that’s somebody’s home it’s pretty cool oh that there whoa look at this it’s like a old building no is that what I could see probably can we get in there it’s by your luck it’s like an old farmhouse or something can I get in there give another little look see how far we can get through this oh I’m not getting in there it’s like bricked up it’s not boarded up it’s bricked up am I stepping on here stingy ow ow it’s snowing on me ah well the floor feels really really really soft what if I what if I plumm it through the floor cuz it’s an old uh something Le we had a little look there we go all the floor proper like so wow look at this ow oh this is terrifying whoa look at that a cage there that’s amazing okay not going to go in there so don’t look too safe me okay cool that’s like an old stable ear amazing well there you go ladies and gents had a little look our first little thing on the way and you know the funny thing that’s not even what I could see on the bus cuz you can’t see that it’s invisible that was wicked man oh kind of wish I went in but anyway it’s okay we had a little luck um and now we continue our adventure to Newport nice and there someone put a little path someone made a little path for us so we have to way about getting squished by a car oh that was a cool looking tree that’s amazing I reckon that’s what a lightning bolt looks like okay if lightning you could look at lightning it looks like that so now that’s what I could see down a building here which is completely different building to the one we just went inside and yes we did go inside we went in a little bear okay if I was with someone else we’d go in there because I’m on my own we don’t know what Horrors look in the shadows H delicious should be ashamed of yourself there’s a random bus stop here mcdonal according to this sign you put 7 miles so have I walked a mile I don’t think so what did this shot look like let’s see did they look like Gladiator it’s a beautiful day though oh look at the meal over there how do we get over there maybe that’s what that maybe that’s what that leads don’t know welcome to the gwent levels now does anybody know what that means cuz I’m not going to lie I’ve never noticed that before is I knew what is the quent levels somebody a B&B but ladies and gentlemen look we’ve made it we’ve made it to Newport whole city of the 2014 natal Summit and host city of the 2010 rder cup and it’s twinned with hien him kassi kassi I don’t know what that means I was trying to one when we went up in um when we went in osk um oh God this is when we went in usk I asked the guy about it cuz he said usk was paid with helheim or something and I said to him I goes what does that mean and he goes well it means it’s paired with a German City I was like yeah but what does that mean why don’t anyone explain it to me yeah so if you do I could Google it but if you if you could just let me know in the comments why are we twinned with places in Germany does that mean in Germany that place says it’s twinned with Newport and also does that mean that it could be worth a vlog going to Anaheim kassi whatever it was for a vlog I think that would be really really interesting [ __ ] out all the dust and [ __ ] coming off the cars are like hitting me in my eyes I know what you’re saying guys why Mike why do you do this to yourself because I’m crazy and I really enjoy making content and this is fun this is fun I wouldn’t it would be boring if I [ __ ] because I’m really close to the road and I’ve got got to walk down this path I get all I don’t know what it is they like little bubbles I don’t know what they are it looks like spit but I don’t I don’t I think they’re eggs I think they’re eggs so every now and again I’ll like a just it’s okay though we’re good we’re doing good so we’ve just come to a place known as Castleton right so now we can keep walking down this road and risk being splattered by these Maniacs or we can just see what’s up here now I don’t know if I can go this way it’s called Channel View but I’m hoping it goes up up and down and I’ll just lead up on the other side um I’m hoping it does I do need to take a wee we as well so maybe there’ll be a nice place by you where I can wee we without being arrested for indecent exposure Here Comes oh look at this rubbish dumped up that [ __ ] in it there was a sign down there saying no flly tipping that’s such a shame treasure such a shame man um yeah so I got my where’s the other one we put her on eBay oh man this is doy got a Dodge gas coming that way the leaves are all like in my face it’s all right though guys not doing anything dangerous it’s walking along a really busy road while we duck oh God this one there’s the other shoe I should go back and get them they’re they’re really good condition that was the other kid shoe what was going on that’s mad is it so the a kid must have thrown it out the window throwing his one shoe out and then threw his other shoe out it’s mad I I I think that’s quite funny we could have made some money on that right now I think that these houses were bought out so they can demolish them and make a road but um I don’t know to be honest just that’s what I was thought cuz there’s just a bunch of houses up here which look really nice but they all just they’re all boarded up now look me show you guys two God damn you want to see me any car people out there is that a good car I don’t know I think it belongs to the coww there a coww oh it’s a car sales place but I’m sure there’s two houses here and there’s another house down there I was intrigued to go and see if I can get in there but there’s one house which is by here which is still in use oo this is gar is constant use though yeah oh look at that Dungy like a moth to the flame wow see now the tree and everything look proper maintained that look but it’s cleanly boarded up I don’t think anyone lives in there no more same with this one yeah oh we walked on that alley can we look oh the gate’s open so look oh wow that’s the other one there I little work around this way think down you people can see but everything’s open so what someone living in it now it’s proper maintained oh look at this yeah look this is freshly cut grass so someone’s looking after it it’s m it it’s a shame come here damn there’s no way in Dr okay but it’s weird how it’s like the garden is really looked after and maintained when the whole thing is boarded up I don’t know it’s we that’s weird to me though why anyone living in here looks cool let’s try and get in the other one well not try and get in but you know let’s have a little looky be cool if you can go in there and have a little wand around but I suppose delinquents would get in there and destroy it let’s go this way actually look down here again God looks quite nice and well well maintained an least we had a look at it I find it peculiar cuz these houses look amazing and they’re all proper like shut off they’re proper boarded up in they right cuz someone must own these houses cuz someone’s still doing the garden unless it’s Council unless the council come and do the garden Maybe not sure don’t know works okay there’s one more up there but it looks a bit harder to get in up there and here’s the other one look other cottage which is boarded up um I got no way again around there look but these this one’s different though because these ones someone’s actually got through I’m I’m not even going to attempt that I’m not going to fit through that I’m not even going to pretend I can these ones look actually have people living in these ones which is bizarre that’s pointless me even trying in a have a look see we can look for a window everything’s proper boarded up rapid response security maybe people people maybe people’s been trying to get to them in the past oh well someone’s actually got in go around the back look I’m not I’m not I’m not going to I’m not going to get in there unless this is open no it’s not it’s a shame isn’t it just want to look inside the house he you bastard not doing any anything wrong really are we I just don’t understand why nobody’s living in them cuz as you can see that’s such a nice house and it’s in a really nice location as well flip you houses we people living in them so what I think’s happened is these the whoever was building the road or whatever they bought these houses out and these people here wouldn’t sell their house because why would you man look how beautiful is you know amazing location it might be a bit loud with the cars but awesome location you got a The Forest of fangorn oh wow look at this they even have a post a post bucket The Glenn post only the Glenn I’m that’s called The Glenn that’s like an old post box thing it’s pretty cool is it and I find it cooler you get to name your house I want to name my house well I’ve never been down there but every time I look down there I’m like I wonder what’s at the end and today we are going to conquer that we are going to conquer our first ever curiosity so my eyes riching from all the uh all the dust that’s gone in them but it’s okay we’re good we’re good I should have worn my spectacles cuz they would have protected me from the dirt and the dust yeah going climbing the side of the road climbing the fence and I am so glad I didn’t cuz I would have done that and they would have come up and shouted at me even though I didn’t do anything wrong I didn’t I just walked in it’s all open all publicly open if they were if they don’t want you going in there they should lock the there should be Gates but that’s that was that would been my argument anyway little bit of History so this here and where those houses were with the spiral is that used to be the old road down there there and in these woods they still have the old um lamps lamp posts can’t really see it from you but I’m pretty sure it’s a walkway now but uh that’s yeah it’s just by you would have thought they would have removed the lamps you can’t see them you can’t you can’t it’s point this sure you can’t see them we’re not going over there do you know why cuz there’s no Road and we will get squished ladies and gentlemen I ready for the great reveal the third part of something I’ve always wanted to look at because curiosity and stuff delish so the bus comes around this way and now they you go around there and then you go that way into ciff St melons thought like how far we are and then I always look down this road here and I don’t know what’s down there and it always looks really really cool so we today ladies and gentlemen are going to conquer that Curiosity and we’re going to see what’s the end of at the end of this road quick question is anyone here into tractors cuz if you are there you go oh stinks smells like ion can someone answer me two things in the there you got a path I wonder if I can walk from here to where I want to go in Newport well we’ve walked to the end of this road um I just want to see I’ve never been down here there’s something there a radiator plant and looks boarded up so we’re going to have a look at that um actually let just walk over now uh but I think the road goes down there but I’m pretty sure the road’s borded up it’s like bouldered I’m sure I can see Boulders so we just going to have a little look in it we’re not we’re not we’re not in the art of pissing anyone off I’m not going to do anything I shouldn’t but uh it’s good because getting lost is part of the experience I’m clearly in a forest in the Deep duffing Jungle we’re going to call it with the tigers look the Tigers of Carl they look in the woods they hide in the trees right right we’re going off the beon path we’re going to go this way cuz I feel like this the way I need to go feels like I’m going further away oh look a delicious spring through the heart of the Duffin Forest um oh can I not get out this way there there are paths oh [ __ ] sake there are paths leading this way so I was hoping maybe it leads out and through the houses to Asda D frin how the hell did you get out I’m lost oh [ __ ] sake I’m lost in the lost in a deep dark Forest of du go dark it is AE oh it’s like a it’s kind of um it’s kind of majestic sticking away back on the road we just on looks at things cuz these don’t lead anywhere go back on the path bugger me buger me bum buger me bum it’s nice down you I want to say it’s now way but I’ve got a feeling it’s this way cuz I’ve just seen some guy walking this way the thing is there’s no one to talk to well these houses look proper old don’t they but they’re not they’re modern they look like they’re trying to be and gentlemen look where we are we are at Asda Dufferin we made it ladies and gentlemen should we see how far we walked now this is also including um this is also including the walking I did this morning when I took Logan to school we have done today show you show you we think just in case you think I’m cheating so 27,000 nearly 30 step it’ll be 30 it’ll be 28,000 steps 12 miles I’ve walked I’ve burned off 2,257 calories and that’s weird cuz I’ve actually had no calories today so I’m burning fat baby so yes ladies and gents let’s end it this way because the sun’s too us about there so
