This is my 05 Fuji track. It’s my first fixed gear and i bought it a little over a week ago.
I’ve got a used bike shop near me that sell all kinds of cheap parts, so i got two part worn tyres (£15 for the pair, one marathon and one durano plus – much better than the kenda slicks that were on it, especially for city riding!)
It came brakeless (first fixed and don’t wanna crash and die, don’t hate me) i fitted a front brake, and since I don’t get on with drop bars i fitted a flat handlebar. I also got some pedals with cages.
All the parts totalled about £40 and i’ve been riding it everywhere for the past few days. I get it now – it’s so fun and much faster than any other bike i’ve tried!
