[Music] [Applause] [Music] what’s up everybody Welcome to the RotoWire soccer podcast my name is Ryan unfortunately Jack the professor couldn’t be here to teach us about tomorrow’s slate he’s uh staving off early Divorce by attending some concert with his wife but have no fear the great m hendi is here uh so we’re in good hands for tomorrow’s slate um but I think Mo before we get into tomorrow slate we might have to talk about some of the injustices of today so um just give you the floor to begin man right it started so promisingly I I know for you you know you were probably in Dreamland when tripier put that uh or tripier put that cross in for foden to tap in and you had that un that foden with little exposure uh and it was looking great uh and then it got chocked off and I was like okay and then it was my turn to feel good because Kane got a goal that he probably didn’t really deserve on the balance of play and I my my third team punt today was hanko who did great he put up 9.5 points at 3.8 which which was wonderful so I was feeling really good after that first game and then Spain conceded first and it all went to [ __ ] uh and it really went it went to it went to [ __ ] in the worst way in that like all the like I my lineup was plenty exposed to Spain you know I had at least five pieces or so but you know if you remember we talked after that first game that Spain played with Nico where he got subbed off at like 68 with like three points or something and so that kind of possibility was stuck in my head and I said Spain’s got plenty of Wingers they have Alternatives if they need to switch it up but what they can’t do is switch it up at striker marata is gonna get his and the only thing he got was a yellow card foul after foul and he just got absolutely justed and left behind by his fellow uh attackers and so uh that kind of buried me and it it it put a very good start completely uh in the past yeah man it was very frustrating yeah for me too um it’s a good thing we don’t do this podcast you know like right after the first game uh I was oh yeah I was I was really tilting um but I guess you know it might not have mattered too much in the end like you said I played Morata too Jack tried telling us on the Pod yesterday that he should have been the first guy in out of the three forwards and unfortunately I yeah I didn’t necessarily agree with him but I like the price difference y this’s a small discount and you you think more goal upside but I don’t know yeah we’ve seen that happen before and of course yamal outscores him by 30 you know just like the most extreme outcome so you could have made you could have writed all your wrongs today if you just played Nico and yamal really um because I had Ruiz too and he ended up being popular but he yeah after that you know I don’t even know where to start like England have just like ruined this tournament and sort of ruined it for DFS too at least today like the people that faded tripier I mean got so lucky he was on 11 floor and got injured he wasn’t even I he wasn’t as high owned as I thought either which was crazy to me then yeah you said it that that assist to foden I played foden too he was like 20 20% owned only after I was watching the game on my computer with my son at this play Cafe so foden scored and I just like and I walked away I was so happy went went to like play a little bit do something just like in my head I’m like oh yeah like I’m gonna win everything today you know came back and the goal they T took the goal away so that was step one but even it was still going to be okay I mean I only played foden trippier and duka you know we’re one minute away from the Duco win clean sheet I mean just like would have changed the whole slate but instead you get a last minute Bellingham bicycle kick which also saves Kane you also got the gayy assist people people donked gay in and and it’s unbelievable he ends up he ends up finishing with like a point or two less than trippier 100% man if you Lo like if you’ve discouraged like me and lost today like it probably wasn’t your fault I feel like a lot of the people that won probably didn’t deserve to win and I feel like that’s been happening more often than not this this tournament which is a little unfortunate I mean yeah I this I I don’t know I don’t want to go and say all of International Football is very script based but at least this tournament has been and it’s like you know if the game starts tight and defensive you get a game like game one where it’s all marada and the two Wingers are frustrated and then subbed early or just get reasonable numbers because you got to keep you got to remember both of them are 10K plus right and so you know they had to hit reasonable numbers today to get to their value and obviously they’re projected to do very well but if this game doesn’t open up with a own goal that you know gets the attack supercharged uh you know things things go a little differently um and so you know yeah yeah um I just want to give a maybe this will give a little bit of Hope to the people out there but I mean I was telling you before the show I’ve I’ve lost eight straight of the 555s now I have uh cash less than half of cash on the tournament um and I think I’ve played pretty well for the most part couple early slates I don’t think I played well but especially lately thought I played really well think um think we’ve been a little bit unlucky somehow I’m still up small for the tournament which is just the biggest Miracle because I’ve hit some showdowns but um yeah I just I think there’s you know we say it all the time but there’s very little Justice out there England continues to continues to prove that um but I think it’s going to turn around I don’t know I I feel like I feel like uh the people that have been playing the best maybe haven’t been winning and the people that haven’t been playing as well have been winning I don’t want to say that but if you’re one of those people out there that’s you know it sounds again like just coming out here whining complaining losing yeah maybe there’s some of that but also if you’ve been consistently winning you should probably go to church tonight [Laughter] listen all all this means to me is that we’re due you know is it going to be this next slate I am skeptical because I’m not sure how I’m gonna play this one but uh but you know I fully I fully agree with that it it it’s been a it’s been a rough go I I haven’t been tracking how many 555s it’s been since I cash but probably upload your number as well and uh and yeah it it’s uh you know we we go again to try and decipher this wild world we do it’s tough because everything’s like Amplified during this time there’s game not only are there games every day but the contests are higher I mean we almost never had 555s for Champions League or or uh premier league and like you know Jordan Jordan Cooper would tell me I don’t have anywhere near the bankroll to be playing 555 so um you know yeah it gets it gets pretty stressful losing eight in a row but but yeah let’s try to break the streak let’s tomorrow State like you said I don’t know if we’re going to be able to do it tomorrow but we’ll see um it’s really my first time opening the Slate we got France and Belgium cheat cheat up let’s see um Portugal the biggest favorite with the highest implied total a two implied total for a you know relatively soft match up against Slovenia and then what should be a pretty interesting in game France and Belgium two teams that have struggled to score goals but came in with big expectations and we see France with a one and a half implied total 40% favorites um so you know we’re gonna have decisions on mbappe Ronaldo Bruno vtina Griezmann and then you know there’ll be some other guy de bruyne then some other guys who I didn’t mention that would be tournament leverage yeah I don’t know what are your thoughts on this slate Mo so one of the things I always try to think about after you know I take one of these 555 L’s is like what lessons can I take from the Slate that just ended and carry over here and on First Look you know I’m like today uh George’s keeper absolutely smashed right and and he was probably on track for an even bigger uh night until Roder you know in classic Man City fashion you know whipped one into the bottom corner uh but you know the first thought that comes to my mind is like you know is this one of those slates where I’m gonna want to take the savings take the save upside build similarly to how a lot of people built today and maybe stack Portugal and on one hand and there’s some arguments for that right uh Slovenia have not looked bad yan yan Oak is a world class keeper Ronaldo loves to whip shots but on the other hand there’s some arguments against it right because um not every player on Portugal is as DFS friendly as SP to be you know like Spain whoever they have on the field are is going to is going to start just racking up the point point right we saw Grimaldo came in and obviously he’s a great player anyway but you know spot start and he wasn’t shy about just absolutely you know taken over um are we gonna see the same thing from uh rapael Lea well so far in this tournament he has definitely not delivered are we gonna see the same thing from bilva well bilva has his games and sometimes he doesn’t and at 88.8k I don’t know if I want to take that chance you know uh a lot of people this tournament have played pinia and been rewarded with like two points or negative one because he does a couple of uh you know bad fowls gets a yellow card and then has to get pulled so there’s there’s that question right and then on the other side between France and Belgium I mean this game could be very tight it could be open right it has the players to go either way my sense initi is that it’s going to be a tight game and certainly the odds report you know implied goals kind of backs that up but uh you know um it’s hard to hard to feel too certain about anything in the tournament so far so those those are my initial thoughts what are you thinking yeah I mean I’m pretty much on the same page I mean for floor points you’d want to Target Portugal um obviously out of these spots they do or out of these two spots they play a little bit similar to Spain where you’re going to see them with almost all the possession and the majority of the chances um but yeah there’s some opportunity costs on this slate where you definitely can’t just Jam him I mean you know mbappe Griezmann de bruyne Lukaku all in play and then even on Portugal which Portugal pieces do you choose um you know we saw vtina take the corners in the first game in the second game I think it was Bruno I think they only had like a couple corners but I think it was Bruno and not vtina yep um and then you know like you mentioned Bernardo Silva like he’s in play and then a guy like Lea who’s gotten yellow carded twice for diving I think people are going to have a tough time going back there at least in like he’ll be owned in the main gpp but I don’t think people will consider that for for cash um yeah okay so as far as like the teams I think for France really the only thing up in the air is who is going to start on the left and we have rabio in there I’ve read that rabio has been there in training you know it was bar barcola last game seems like it’s going to be rabio but it could be like you know one of the forwards barcola or turam um and then yeah with Belgium there’s really only one spot Up For Debate lucab bakio is back from suspension trossard has not been very effective um although I’ve seen some people that think it’s going to be Carrasco in there which would make some sense he he looked he was bright for Belgium better than their other attackers when he came on so could see Carrasco and then yeah for Portugal really yeah the only spot up in the air is probably Lea just because of yeah he has yellow cards for diving twice so you could see jota you could see cona um and then yeah Slovenia have their left back suspended guy who takes some sets so we’re going to get this 2600 at least prob probably going to get this $2600 Yuri balkovic I haven’t even looked him up yet fun fun fact he had 109 crosses for Alon Spore last season so love that I mean Mo that’s why we got Mo on the Pod here um great stuff nothing else if there’s nothing else I give the viewers today there you go I mean that’s so so we know he’s not he’s not like a center back that that they’re putting there so yeah they’re going to have a $2,600 left back but um yeah let’s get into forward um 10.5k mbappe and 7.8 Griezmann pretty big difference there bigger than we’re used to seeing um they took a chance not starting Griezmann last game and it definitely didn’t work I feel like they need him in there um 7.8 seems like a decent price tag um but then you also have Ronaldo there in and he’s sort of dropped he’s dropped a bit he down to 95 I mean we saw him 11k on these other slates um but you know he just failed against Georgia he hasn’t scored yet um again pretty good spot though decent price and and then Bernardo Silva is there so like cash is not straightforward I think it tournament ownership is going to be I don’t I don’t know I don’t know if we’re going to get overwhelming chalk at forward I would guess that people are going to like this griezman price tag I do too um what do you think about forward Mo so first thing thankfully this is a slate where there are more than like two or three options like I feel like we had the Germany slate where we were basically scrambling for whoever would play and then to today where it was like do you want to play Kane or not um so I do like Ronaldo I think if you put aside the Georgia game which was fairly meaningless he averaged you know 13 points between the two games with no goal um you know this is a game where they’re favored which means he’s going to want to whip shots in uh and and this is one of those rare cases where the correlation might actually favor you if you decide that you want to do the old black punt you might kind of benefit on both sides from that um Griezmann is too cheap I think this is where Griezmann flourishes these types of matchups he my my reading the tea leaves thoughts on on him getting dropped for France was it it didn’t seem like him and mbappe were fully meshing in those early games and so uh Des shamps wanted to see if maybe he could switch things up allow that to happen and it sort of worked but sort of didn’t and so he’s he’s rightfully gone back um and so I am still skeptical like you said that we see this lineup I I think it’s just too um like uninspired like I I I don’t think mbappe has done very well down the middle and I think in eneral he strongly prefers that left wing it’s what he did in qualifying like this lineup still needs some work but I I think it is probably the end of the no Griezmann experiment and he will be playing a big role and at that price I I want a lot of him so those are my initial thoughts in the chat I’m seeing a lot of what about Lukaku um I think that’s going to be a gpp thing right like obviously if he if he hits the goal you are going to be in okay shape but you’re not saving a ton going to him and you know France if nothing else have shown that their defense is really good in this tournament so I I I think in my opinion especially in cash ownership will be a lot heavier on Ronaldo and Griezmann there are other plays but they stand out ahead for now and then on the mbappe question I’m I’m still very uncertain I’ll leave you to talk about that one because a lot of times I think it’s a no-brainer I mean we saw in that last game that he absolutely dominated once like it was clear that they needed a goal and he was gonna go for it um but you know that first game he put up like six points and and he was really quiet for a lot of the rest of the game and this is a tight game so I’ll let you talk about what you think about mbappe here yeah he’s a tough one I mean I he I think he has a lot of those six point outcomes in him I mean we we’ve seen it over and over again and just if France get a lead and mbapp is not involved there’s not going to be a floor there for him like at all especially and he’s 10.5k um with Portugal in a better spot and cheaper so yeah like for cash games I would play Griezmann over mbappe for sure um and yeah I think you’re right people will probably even favor Ronaldo I mean it’s a 1K you save onek and you get the better matchup um so maybe MBA is a little bit lower owned than otherwise um yeah Lukaku strictly gpp I mean France team is tough to score against I mean they should have had three clean sheets so far but kind of unlucky against that levendowski penalty on the second attempt um Lukaku so yeah like St strictly gpp obviously you do probably get him low owned though like really low owned actually I would think and 8K is fine you know it’s he’s not that expensive so you know you know it’s a fine tournament play um but yeah I think griezman would be my first guy in uh I agree yeah I heard that um a manager I don’t know he thought griezman like wasn’t up for it physically anymore which I sort of get what I I get what he’s saying and like he wanted rabo in there which is like the the complete opposite but yeah I don’t necessarily think that’s true like griezman is not like a like how mezoo was at the end for Arsenal I still Griezmann has amazing games still for we saw it with Atletico this year where he’s up and down the the pitch playing defense to just like so yeah they they need him in there but I also agree i’ would rather have mbappe on the left I mean it was worked pretty well when jeru was up top the last couple tournaments or or whoever I mean even in the second half of last game I mean mbappe was everywhere unlucky not to have a huge game um I do think for tournaments um like a three nothing France smash in is in the cards so don’t rule that out um Belgium have been pretty suspect pretty suspect Belgium um and they’ve allowed you just look at those names those names do not Inspire conf confidence no no nope um so I think we no they they really don’t um ver Tongan has really struggled the yeah I mean I think there’s going to be some chances for France um but yeah from a cash game point of view I think it’s griezman and then decide I think yeah I think we’re on the same page yeah yeah I I mean I would mention dembele if there was any chance of Griezmann not starting because he was great in that game he just took over the Griezmann role but aside from that you know he’s he’s just a distant third option so you’re right though yeah I didn’t mean to gloss over Dem B good price tag on him too really important player for them and yeah you’re right if if ever Griezmann is not on the pitch he’s going to be taking sets um 7600 yeah yeah demele he’s a fine play I guess in in any format probably you’re not gonna play him over griezman not not in cash I mean um but yeah good good price there um anything else anything for the cheap guys yeah like do you have any interest um will you be looking at either Slovenia forward we have 4,800 cesco and 4500 sporar who’s actually shown a a floor I mean yeah he’s put up at least 7.4 in every game played at least 86 minutes they’ve also had couple tough matchups um yeah I don’t know what do you think so I I just he doesn’t pass the test but the the the ey test doesn’t matter as much at his price tag like a lot of these points are him getting in just gorgeous positions and absolutely whiffing it or absolutely like just doing a terrible job with it and so like is he a good player no is he starting because Slovenia have like very few other options yes can he get there yeah could you know um I I I actually think on this slate there are a lot of more comfortable punts and I’m sure we’ll get into that um and we’re for once not starved at forward but you know if that’s where you land or if you’re in gpp um that’s certainly an option and then I I can’t speak on cesco when we’ve got the cesco truther on the so I’m gonna leave cesco all to you I mean unfortunately it’s just it’s never really worked out for me um it does sort of seem like though the spots where you don’t play him or where you don’t want to play him the tough matchups is like where he might do it but yeah the thing you mentioned about there’s so much opportunity cost on this slate so at forward at forward and we’re not used to that I see stoto in the chat saying second guy in sporar with a consistent eight-point floor yeah I remember on the last pod he said that too you actually you actually convinced me to play some on the last pod and I did I it made some more sense on that slate um because yeah there’s some maybe some punts at other spots and some guys at forward who can put up ceilings um but there’s also some mids you want to like you know if you want to play Bruno and KD B which we’re about to talk about you may need to punt it second forward regardless so yeah I don’t mind it you know you’re right though I’ve been watching watching him too like like like what kind of Striker is this I he’s been he’s had he’s kind of messed up so many good spots they could have scored some goals um but you you can see that he kind of has it in him I mean he’s big he’s big he’s big enough where he’s like decent in the air and but he’s also like got some good skill and so I don’t know I don’t mind it uh if you want to play KD B and Bruno yeah then I I totally get it but yeah let’s move to Midfield Bruno 99.9k KY B 8.6 and vtina 7.1 um you know after seeing Bruno take the corners last the LA last game or two games ago makes me just want to play Bruno uh if it would have been after the first game I was one of I was one who switched to vtina and I wasn’t too happy about it I think I thought that was probably a mistake but I don’t know that first game he took like seven or eight corners and Bruno took one or something um and and even a lot of the corners that vitinho was taking were like real Corners not short Corners um but yeah after that last game I just you know Bruno has the upside too um although in that other game or V uh paulinia didn’t play in that other game I believe uh yeah yeah where so like vitinho was a little de had to be a little deeper like when he plays with paulinia I think he at least gets into some better spots so not a bad not a bad Play Still and not GNA be shocked at all if he shows up on Corners um and then yeah you have kdb sitting there and France isn’t a team isn’t a team that’s like G to dominate you like Spain and maybe Portugal will so decent price on kdb too I don’t know what do you think about Midfield Mo yeah I I kind of had the same experience with you on Bruno like I I I got roasted in that first game for Portugal when vtina just absolutely took all the sets and then I was Overexposed on him and underexposed on Bruno and the following slate and Bruno dominated and T capped it off with a goal I believe and so I’m kind of back to my starting position which is you know matina is GNA have opportunities I like the idea that pinia might allow him to move forward but Bruno Bruno if this game goes in any direction that is difficult for uh Portugal or even if you know even if it’s not difficult even if just even Bruno’s gonna be doing a lot um and so I I I don’t see a lot of scenarios where I’m now playing him certainly in cash he might be the first guy in um kdb is hard I you know this is the one I kind of sat and thought about for a little bit and I was like we don’t really get many opportunities to see how kdb does in matchups where he’s not favored right like in in the eepl he’s favored in every single game he plays in uh minus maybe like Liverpool away um and then for Belgium even though Belgium don’t do as well you know for the most part he’s been injured and then now he’s usually played in games where he’s favored so so it’s it’s just hard to see I I think you’re right I don’t see him being shut out um I also don’t know if he gets many opportunities on you know attack to really rack up the points we’re used to him racking up the salary isn’t too bad though you know 8.6 isn’t isn’t anything that’s going to bankrupt you and certainly once you get past you know kind of Griezmann in the same range there aren’t too many other options there where you’re like that’s a much better play so you know I I think I’ll be definitely thinking about him a lot it’ll depend about how much how how much better I feel about vtina it also depend on how much I feel or how I feel about the other pieces there’s a few cheap pieces here that are kind of on my mind as to whether they’ll be the piece that makes it all work um so you know we’ve seenu we’ve seen doku absolutely roast people and we’ve seen him just disappear right my personal like one that I’m really interested in is uh I’ve seen kante like in the box like five bajillion times this tournament and I’ve been like he is literally just one touch away from a goal or where he will just literally break the Slate upside you know yeah yeah I know I was gonna bring that up too and I’m laughing because the last France game was so funny there was this sequence with K I’m sure people know what I’m talking about I mean k had a great game but he was in some spots in the box and played a couple of the worst pass worst touch passes ever made one of the worst decisions you’ve ever seen like but you’re right like but he should finish those I love ke I absolutely love K it’s like I’m pretty sure every football fan loves K everybody knows he’s like the nicest guy in the world too um it’s crazy that he like he was forgotten about not on the France team he he lost his legs at Chelsea everybody thought he was washed goes to Saudi where all the washed guys just go and like somehow he ends up back at France and and and his legs are back it’s it’s unbelievable to see actually and that um I think de bruyne is going to sleep tonight not excited about tomorrow’s match match up with chu manyi and K and I mean talk about a nightmare I think for a guy like de bruo who who is kind of the slowest guy on the field a lot of times um he looks he’s looking more and more fragile and labored um but I mean I love kdb I would never put it past him I’ve seen him up for these spots too from from just a football perspective I I hope hope he is up for it but yeah I I worry about the matchup I’m with you probably will keep me off of in cash and also just because you know if you’re gonna spend up twice at forward and play Bruno obviously you’re not playing kdb and like you mentioned we have these punts here rabio 4,100 and kante 3,900 I think either one of them are fine you mentioned kante has been playing further forward um and I and I think he would again if rabio started um you know if we get if rabio is not in there then maybe K doesn’t get further forward but I mean he he’ll be further forward than cheu manyi um either way he’s 3900 he’s been good I think it’s a fine punt Paulin is there too um this setpiece taker for Slovenia is 4K Adam Chan um yeah as Adam Adam pointed out once or twice this guy’s been lucky not to see a yellow um committed zero fouls against England though wow um so yeah I don’t know you could get some you could get Slovenia set pieces for 4K if you want maybe you fill a third team requirement that way doesn’t seem like the worst thing I’m not sure how many that they’re going to have but you know he could score you five or six points um yeah was there any other puns mo i you were just looking at the France guys and yeah no I I think I think those those were all um guys I was looking at I wrote down Onana but I think Onana was a much more interesting punt when um when tians wasn’t starting with tians in the lineup Ona’s being asked to play this uncomfortable you know defensive midfielder role that he really isn’t um and and so I I don’t think the upside is as high and I really don’t think there’s reason to get too much deeper in the punts on Midfield when there’s a lot of really good ones in my opinion on defense so I think that’s where I’ll stop on Midfield yep I’m with you and I was going to bring up but I see it in the chat people in the chat too yeah doku kundai that’s a tough matchup for dku one of you know kundai is um up there with Kyle Walker is like just one of the toughest guys to face um doku is like one of the few guys that can can beat anybody on his day um so yeah stoto too doku tomorrow will be on on the disappearing mode that would be my lean too in a tough matchup like this um yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking too so on to defense um not really sure you know the only spend up options are these Portugal guys um we have Canelo 53 and Mendes 48 um you know good price tags but they haven’t been great they haven’t been what we thought or hoped they would be I know you know us and pretty much everyone have tried to play Portugal Defenders uh you could again it seems seems like they’re going to be back to a back four uh we saw Nuno Mendes get there in a back three the first game it didn’t matter I mean prices are okay I think each have a little bit of sub risk just we’ve seen Dow play we’ve seen Nelson tomato play um then on the France side I shouldn’t say those are the only spend up options Tao is a similar option at at 54 um he’s been pretty consistent he’s not gonna he’s not going to be attacking like too often but a few times he’ll he gets in good spots has shots to score probably should almost should have scored last game um I don’t think he’ll be that high owned yeah I don’t know you know what were you thinking of a defense mode did any of these guys up top like are you making them a priority I guess or like are you fine punting what do you think yeah I don’t think I’m prioritizing any of them I I do have different feelings about them that that may have an influence as I’m kind of seeing what amount of money I’ve got to work with towards the end you know a lot of people played Hernandez on the last slate without Griezmann thinking you know this was really his opportunity to get a couple sets and um the attack he he did get more involved in the attack he didn’t really get many sets um and he did really have a couple very close chances so I I think you captured it perfectly the upside is there you just have to be conscious that it’s going to be less in this matchup and definitely with Griezmann in uh on the Portugal fullbacks I feel like Nuno is exactly what uh Roberto Martinez wants in a fullback and Canelo is not and that like the these are just my my sense in that Nuno is willing to do the dirty work on defense but he’s also lightning quick and flexible on on offense and that’s why you know Roberto Martinez was able to take him from like Center back to left Winger in that first game all you know in kind of different phases of the game and so he’s the one who I have the most interest for sure in 4.8 isn’t cheap it’s not terribly expensive um I’m out on Canelo uh you know Canelo is we all know the upside right it’s it’s the Z in club as as it is country we we’ve seen him hit Banger after Banger we’ve seen him put up 20 point 30 point games it it’s just when is it g to come this is a game where the script is great you know may it may be that if Portugal is having trouble breaking down Slovenia that we start seeing him bomb forward but we’ve seen him play a lot of like Central mid here we’ve seen him kind of play a lot more back he definitely isn’t whipping in crosses um and and he’s getting subbed often for Dow and so don’t love it um 5.3 means you don’t necessarily need to rule it out but you know to answer sto’s question if I’m prioritizing those three Theo Canelo Nuno Canelo is a distant third and then I’m kind of flip-flopping between Nuno and and Theo that’s that’s how I feel about those three I have thoughts on the pun that’s how I feel about those three yep nice I think that was a perfect breakdown that’s how I feel too um I would prioritize Nuno number one I think you nailed it he’s just he’s Elite physically uh that’s why he’s just so highly rated um I think yeah Martinez feels the same way yeah I’m also out on cano and I’d like Tao because ta for tournaments because he should be lower owned so yep I agree with you there um as far as the punt let’s see you know we got kundai here in the mid-range uh 43 I think that’s fine you know similar play to those three guys we just mentioned you know it doesn’t have as good of a floor usually and or as much upside um but he has been getting in spots where an assist Could Happen um or even a goal in some rare cases uh for punts we mentioned at the start of the show we’re going to have 26 600 Yuri balkovic um Mo dug in for us and saw that he had over a hundred crosses for whichever Club he plays for so yeah that seems pretty fine that seems that seems okay for for 2600 um their other fullback is only 700 more this this guy who scored a goal cares carich or something um you know I don’t know I you know I would just you take the savings in in cash um let me see is is uh stanovic he’s still there and he’s only 2.8 that’s the one oh only 2.8 Wow might want to get him over bovic I mean you know stanovich probably has more sub risk but maybe not because we’re getting this guy who’s just never started for them um so you might want maybe they have the same sub risk and St is more attacking so yeah I think you’re going to play one or two of these Slovenia pieces um one for sure yeah two decent punt options what do you think yeah no yeah no go ahead go ahead I was going to say I I like them I like them both I think the upside is there I think you just have to know what you’re getting right like this is a matchup where most likely Portugal should dominate most of it and and it’s unlikely they’re going to be putting in you know the high volume they might put in in some other games um but at yeah like Five Points would be a ceiling I mean like five if you got like five floor that’s like you’re that’s a rare outcome I know I know what you’re saying yeah exactly um so yeah there there’s a lot of other interesting questions or or options so I I see Derek asked about uh the or or I I don’t know how you say his name but basically the the the center back sometimes fullback that Belgium is playing and um he he’s a he’s an okay option I’ve seen him put a cross in he he definitely has played fullback in the past 2700 again he can’t go wrong and there’s a chance he’ll be chasing a lot of this game so he’s an option right um the the Portugal center backs for what it’s worth are also Dirt Cheap you know Pepe is H 2.9 and I think I saw him getting up in the box and putting in headers despite being the oldest man alive uh in the Heroes and and so there’s that Diaz as he does for City gets on the edge of the box and starts putting in crosses so he’s an option as well um and then finally the one that I find interesting I I’m not sure I’m gonna play him but I I I think it’s worth mentioning him is castania and I’ll I’ll tell you why I find him interesting because his role changes so much depending on where he’s starting and what phase the game is in right because I played him I think maybe first or second group game where he literally was just another Center back I mean he was just all the way back absolutely contributing nothing to the attack and then I I saw him in another game just bombing to the end line putting in crosses you know almost an assist here almost an assist there and is it going to happen vers France probably not but if they’re chasing the game H there’s a good chance that he gets very involved there so he’s somebody I’m I’m interested in a little bit as well yeah sharp stuff there on castania I agree um I think he he’s on the the what will be the I think the easier side to to attack from for Belgium um and yeah you’re right he does get up uh he’s his floor doesn’t show it and his numbers don’t show it but yeah he’s in the Box plenty I agree only 3600 um I didn’t see yeah Pepe 2900 yeah kind of like a poor man’s or an old man’s rudiger I guess in a way you know he’s gonna get up and for corners and he’s got some clean sheet odds um teate 2700 I think I I I think I prefer the Slovenia guys to te I I agree with you yeah um Pepe though you know probably better if if you don’t need to fill a third team I don’t know unless Slovenia score then uh then you’re not going to want Pepe yeah um yeah so I think there’s it’s interesting you know it’s actually an interesting slate there’s there’s kind of a lot of Punt options um there’s a lot of forward options there’s quite a few decisions to make tomorrow um goalkeeper um the best decision of them all yeah the best decision of them all okay uh Costa 5800 best win ODS best clean sheet odds Portugal you know they’re going to dominate possession here they’re not really going to allow that many chances um yeah I like Costa if you can get up to him um might be difficult I don’t know I haven’t even tried building a lineup yet Manion 5200 kind of like that too I mean I I mentioned I think France should have had three clean sheets already France are very hard to score against um Belgium should take some shots so too so I think you know he he’s he’s got a ceiling uh and then obviously the cheap guys are fine too cas’s and oblock should face shots you know mbapp is gonna be ripping shots oblock will face the most shots um like Mo said at the start of the pod is it one of these slates where you just play O Block I mean kind of everybody’s it’s it’s weird like there’s been a big shift in the last couple months especially in like higher Stak stuff and like where everybody’s just playing the cheap keeper and just just hope he get you know hope he’s gonna get shots fired on I mean today again I mean what Portugal or Spain scored four goals and guy still made a ton of saves I mean everyone is building their lineups like that I mean are we ever going to get a slate again where this keeper scores like n eight just bury these guys Mo but I you know I don’t know I’ve been doing it too on not all the slates but sometimes uh play oblock again here you know it’s a it’s a pretty good spot it fills the third team uh what do you think about keeper yeah no I I think I think you’re spot on that there’s been this big shift you know I I used to and I think I still do give pause and think like okay like what if Portugal scores that first goal and they’re rattled and then there’s just another and another you know uh but it doesn’t seem to pan out that way it seems like today we got two Underdog goals and then you know it didn’t work out for de brka but it did work out for for h George’s keeper uh and and so um that that that upside is enticing and then the saving is enticing right and especially if you’re going to try to fit in you know this this kdb Midfield situation with Bruno or if you’re G to try to get mbappe you’re gonna find yourself wanting to get down there honestly I think mbappe might be a bridge too far regardless of um whether you spend down or not but certainly this will be a big part of you being able to do that um I I don’t have too many thoughts here beyond what I’ve kind of already said about black I I don’t like the spot for Costa um I I don’t think Portugal’s defense is of the standard that this odds report would suggest I I think they’re fine I think they’ve definitely qualified in impressive fashion I just think also like these either you’re talking of a low save volume situation where Slovenia get dominated or you’re talking about a scenario where they get a a cheap Counterattack goal either way the numbers don’t make me feel great So currently he is my least favorite keeper um I I fully share your opinion on uh uh France’s goalkeeper right like I I think he should have kept the three clean sheets I think that France’s defense is great um I could totally play that um I don’t know how I feel about casti um my my initial sense is the Belgium’s defense kind of sucks but they’re not going to be bombarded with shots so you don’t have the same upside so he he also might kind of fall in that range where I don’t want to play him like Costa um but you know Belgium could score and it could work out in this favor uh and then o black and O black is as I’ve said probably one of my one of my favorites a word of caution because I I don’t want to know be hearing people saying Mo told me o was going to smash tomorrow then he doesn’t he’s had three saves a game right somehow Slovenia are keeping people from ripping shots I don’t know if that’s them pressing them I don’t know if that’s them performing you know like decent enough so that you know it’s the other team isn’t like constantly attacking them but the save upside hasn’t been as dramatic as we’ve seen with Georgia right with Georgia we we knew coming in that something about the way they play makes people just want to absolutely bombard their keeper with saves he had like 11 a game seven a game and so on so we don’t have that with old black word of caution the script looks nice but it may not work out yeah that’s fair um I’m just looking at who who they played uh yeah England were pretty bad against them Serbia Serbia were pretty bad Denmark I think Denmark got a lead and then yeah sat on it so yeah this is a tougher matchup but yeah I hear you um no I agree with you I think coost is probably the guy have the least interest in France keeper tough name to say huh I wasn’t going to bring it up I I was waiting for you you chuckle I was like I just don’t want to butcher it right yeah now you see to life mode this how it is like every pot all right um there’s Georgia keeper and France keeper are my like go-tos because because to to me Georgia keeper is just mama and I don’t even try the rest of it so you know I just there’s there’s a whole bunch of landmines in tout life and I just try to step around them tough sometimes yeah um all right um any other thoughts I I don’t really have any I think yeah covered pretty much every player I wanted to yeah any any last thoughts Mo yeah I I I I feel like this is a slate where you can get uh and there’s bear in the chat just absolutely roasting me over not pronouncing the name man yeah so I I I think like a big decision for a lot of people will be do I want uh or do I want KD b or do I want to go in a different direction entirely right that I think that’ll be a big decision for me that’ll be a big decision for a lot of folks and I think that will in some part dictate what else gets you know fit in um because I think we we’ve we’ve kind of talked on the Slate that like there’s a lot of very reasonable options there’s a lot of options who have a good number of outs to get that decent floor or do enough to pay off their salary um but you know is is as you said is this the surprise France smash slate where they finally go from zero open Play Goals to three is this uh you know kdb turning back the clock and just somehow get to 20 floor points on you know 15 crosses chasing the game uh or is this uh vitina open Play goal and resuming his role on set you know there’s a lot of different scenarios that can play out and so I think whoever whoever you are that’s building whoever’s listening to this is just going to have to decide what do I think is more likely where do I want to kind of uh lean which narrative do I want to lean into yep no that was a good breakdown I I I think three guys I see three guys that I’ll mention as like toughest clicks but decent gpp plays bile on the France side we kind of spoke about why he’s cheap and he’s going to go overlooked Mo just hit it on vtina on the Portugal side I think people are gonna struggle to click him not even necessarily because they don’t want to just because you can’t really if you playing Bruno and these other guys and then even a guy like Bernardo Silva might go like a bit under owned um obviously you know you have like the Lukaku types but I’m talking about guys from the favorites um
