    BUILT | Introducing the Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe World Tour Team



    It’s the dawn of a new era, as Red Bull enters WorldTour team ownership with Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe. The squad brings a new look to this year’s Tour de France, as they chase victory with team leader Primož Roglič. We entered the Red Bull hangar to build the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 of key lieutenant Jai Hindley. The RED AXS groupset gets custom touches to match the stunning frame, all expertly assembled by Thorsten Wilhelms from the SRAM Racing department.

      Hi Sram. I have some questions that are driving me crazy and I need to know if you can answer them.

      Is it true that in your design team there is someone in charge only of making things that are ugly to look at?

      Because the levers on the old Red were ugly, but with the new ones, you have surpassed yourselves in terms of ugliness. Not to mention the rear derailleur, which is an aberration.

      What I'm about to say is harsh, but it's real… Even Campagnolo makes the most beautiful groupset…

      Why do you punish cycling, a sport based on aesthetics, to put up with so much ugliness?

      Is that the standard SRAM crankset with the aluminum details blacked out? Looked sick! Thought it was a brand new unreleased crankset at first.

      This is an ad. This is red bull/sram shilling for specialized.. This is an ad disguised as "content". With a clickbaity title even. Were you introducing the mechanic or are bikes now considered people?

      Installed the compression plug too low and in the wrong orientation. The stem clamp bolts align with the arrow on the red compression expander plug 🤦‍♂️
