Hahahaha. As expected, the news reporter forgotten to mention 24 years ago before I left my beautiful country, I was working in full time employment, legally and been paid 700PLN so around 180USD a month at the time. Fuel was half of the price today but my family members work in similar places of work as me before I left and earn 4000-5000PLN a month and that's take home money!
Also, fuel expensive in Poland?
Wait a moment. I just spoke to my mum and she pays £1.20 for petrol, and we pay £1.45 in the UK. I still told her I will get her car converted to lpg this summer when we are on holiday in Poland, cause LPG is now 45p a litre!!!! We have to pay over £1 for litre. So clearly Polish proces are not as bad as they paint them to be.
In my current work I would earn roughly 12000PLN in Poland, in the UK I get only 50% more.
To compare, when I left Poland I was in full time employment and been paid £100 a month (exchange rate in 2004).
In my first job in the UK I have been paid £950 a month. That was 9.5 times more!!!!
Today it's only 50% more.
Clearly situation is much better than it was especially for poorer part of society as they used to be treated by company owners as white slaves and paid peanuts
Poland go to hell.
