AR samsi are going to have it it’s their moment and well they did everything right today absolutely everything helps when you’ve got the numbers you’ve got to get into that position in the first place Sean they did and they had two of their best riders in the break that had a great chance to go all the way yes well you know getting into the break first of all that is always a difficult one and then get the riders that are going to be suited for this sort of final and ARA certainly uh had the two men who could you know ride uh against the uh the good guys who were in this breakway and they proved that the first time up St Luke and then we could see you know out of the three men it was this man uh Balan who was the strongest and uh going to go and St the stage Victory here now then rco aapol is said to be in the middle there 15 seconds H Bal and Primo RIT now together in that group even AOL at 15 seconds that’s interesting we’ve not had one single shot of him have to correct myself as well there Emanuel ub’s watching from the car bit of a look Alik he of the AR press officer but I’m sure they’ll all be [Applause] excited 1.6 GS for vlar to finish things off picking up R is on the way this is jiga 243 back from Ving Pacha but it’s the Gap to the yellow Jersey we’re looking at still no shot of the supposed rcool somewhere in the middle there the headline though is that it’s creeping up to 34 of a minute to the rest of the contenders from M and Pacha more focus in the on that in a minute because here it is fosa flam for another Frenchman two days in a row in Italy you usually have to whisper it quietly but today they’ll be screaming it loud and proud because it’s the Tour of France on Italian soil and it will be Viv France yet again what a start to this tour it has gone bang in bologna and two days from two it’s going to be the Breakaway again at the Tour of France a dream Victory an extraordinary stage finished 24 hours ago where they made us guess they made us wait it was B that day today it’s Kevin vlar turn from The Experience 24 hours ago of a goodbye to the next big thing in French cycling Kevin Vine is going to do it at 23 years of age and a to of Hall stage winner from the first big Breakaway looking for Glory and ARA BNB hotels after years of trying finally achieve a stage win at the 111th toal CLA Kevin VLAN does it he wins in bologna and yonas ab Bramson is up there for another stage Podium and this is important to look at because in terms of the bonus seconds for those who attack behind they’re all going to members of the Breakaway nothing extra for V and pachan just to see that image of War Pacha if we can because iol is said to be closing we’ve not seen him once yet second place to Abramson great ride from him he’ll be on his way to the podium as the king of the mountains and this is Kashi alongside Rodriguez who trying to make it two Riders on the podium of the day but a third place goes to bash fourth to Rodriguez fifth in the end to Tada as we go back to the terrible tusum they’ve got a passenger with them in jigar the Breakaway and a look round who’s with him it’s evap Standing Tall and going Toe to Toe with his biggest Rivals now this is big news he’s taken can of pass with him and it’s not as one-sided as perhaps it looked at the top we’ve not seen him at all today but What a Feeling what a moment Remco in Paul Shan Kell’s up for the fight yes he is this is a real strong performance here as we can see he’s just you know in the background there going to lose a handful of seconds and and now it’s going to be an interesting one between the two the two big men here uh there will be a bit of a Sprint between them as we can see uh the man pogar who really opened it up on and luk at there that final time up and here he goes T Bacha wants the yellow Jersey Vore sits on his wheel both on 15 seconds at the start of the day as even is desperately trying to fight his way onto the back before they come it’s been a big big ride behind to try and limit the damage as well let’s see what the clock counts to 15 seconds is needed as Pacho Waits and moves across if theol save the day he will be on level time losing nothing to Vore nor pachan at the minute it’s Kaz who’s going for it and Richard kapaz comes across the line EF education easy Bo have their man and he will take the yellow Jersey the count is on and the seconds grow let’s see it’s going to be 15 at least before Bal loses it and I’m afraid it looks like it will take Onan Bal fighting all the way we’ll get a double check at a moment but it looks as though Richard carapaz is the man to take the yellow Jersey for EF education easy post so much happening on the road to Bologna Kevin vlar winning the stage a big attack from Pacha and Ving but it seems as though the damage was limited in quite a serious way a huge win for our they’ve got an Italian bike sponsor as well let’s not forget Yankee have done it in bolog Kevin vla is a stage winner of the toour of France and France with a Goodbye Yellow to one hero yesterday welcomes another one to the top step of the podium that’s what it means and Kevin vlar does it now R is in here losing that little bit of time Chris Harper being one of them and we wait to get the classified check to give you the confirmation of where everybody stands it was tighter than it looked there at the end SE yes it was and car P winning that but car’s down in 22nd Place yesterday but the interesting one was that pogacha we could see there you know not really uh contesting the Sprint at all he was just riding there and the moment he was caught by the uh uh and Remco Evol you know didn’t contest a Sprint at all and I think you talked about the placing there here we’re going to have confirmation in the end it is T pachard with those places added up who is going to go into the yellow Jersey so today pachad into the yellow Jersey despite as you say pulling away maybe wanting to think about it kalapas going for the Sprint naturally looked as though he might been able to open the Gap but know I think we’re getting news that t pachar is going to be in the yellow Jersey as the new leader already on day two of the tour of fr

    1. There’s no way any other rider would be riding the way Vingegaard did today after such serious injuries and no racing at all for 3 months.

    2. Pogi flicked his elbow at Vingegaard there at the end (4:34), prior to Evenpoel catching the group, clearly wanting him to take the lead to hold off Remco. When Jonas refused, Pogi stopped hammering it, and that's why he refused to contest the sprint. It's unclear what Jonas' strategy was there at the end; either he doesn't consider Remco to be a real threat, or he is saving all of his energy for the third week of the Tour.

    3. Really impressive how Vingegaard could keep up with Pogacar. Very strong perfomance from Evenepoel!! And not to forget the stage winner! Promising Tour start 🤘🏽

    4. Not sure why Tadej spent all that energy to tow Jonas. Also I thought GC riders didn't want the jersey early because their team now has to ride at the front to defend it.

    5. Glad I read the comments here, seems to already pretty clear what is going to happen, no need to watch any other stages… 🙂
seriously I'm very excited, going to be fun!
