The Devinci Wilson has been one of if not my favourite bike I have ever owned! Even though it still has 26″ Wheels it still rides great because there never was anything wrong with 26″ in the first place! 😉

I love how the suspension feels on this bike, the rear travel is very progressive and feels awesome!

  1. Cane creek shocks seem to be pretty hit or miss. My kitsuma took 3 trips to the suspension shop in a month and a full set of updated internals to work properly. Feels fantastic now though.

  2. I own a 2012 Specialized Status 2 that needs quite a bit of sublte lovin, mostly my rear triangle and linkages. What would be the best way u reckon to get the parts to successfully have it rollin again on the trails ?

  3. Tip the top, i have demo 2014 and put the 29/27,5 wheels, single speed, and shigura. Hell of a bike. Long live chainsaw. Regards from Bosnia

  4. People need to stop paying so much attention to what year is next to the name of a bike – a good bike is a good bike regardless. Having yearly models is just a marketing tactic by bike companies to get you to believe newer is better. If you spend $5k+ on a bike you should have the intentions of using if for 5+ years.

  5. Your channel never disappoints 🙌 keep up the good content! I've been building a backyard trail, do you have any obstacles in mind I could include?

  6. Great video, knew the bike because of you and bought myself the same Wilson 2 years ago. Must say its a great bike (especially for being 10 years old)…
Been using the same canecreek db shock and it was always extremely loud and sennsetive but never leaked oil… so thats kinda weird

  7. I absolutely relate, as one of my favorite bikes is the 09 demo 8, (kinda biased since i have one lol) but after tryng a 2018 Giant Glory i wish i could get the new modern hardware to get it feeling that good suspension-wise, i don't think i have ever ridden anything that felt half as precise. The 2015 KTM Tribute is a brutal looking bike in metallic grey and red, despite it's CHONKNESS because even for a DH bike that thing is obese at nearly 22Kgs (at least the one i used was) so that thing is far up the list too. I know about the 2015 Demo 8 but i haven't gotten to try one yet, it seems to be extremely similar to the 09 one tho

  8. Honestly, I have a 2016 Trek Slash 8 with a lot of parts changed on it, it has a 65 head angle & 170/160 travel on 27.5, it's a really decent enduro bike, yours great too, I really don't like people pushing on always buying the newest bike, I'll be switching to a new one next year I guess, but yeah, ride what you like and what you can afford! 🙂 Great video, thanks!

  9. I have the 2012 Wilson. Love it. I put a 27.5 on the front so it’s a mini mullet. Also a dropper post. She’s a funky bike but works great. I’m working on putting an 11speed gruppo on it. Then I hope to be able to ride up fire roads easier.

  10. I love keeping older bikes in tip too shape. A perfectly tuned older bike can run as good or better than newer bikes that are ridden hard and put away wet.

  11. Love the bike! I would love to see more tricks on the channel! Seems like you used to trick more like x-ups would live to see those ckmeback

  12. I recently got a 2016 Giant Glory (same bike Tom Isted did that 120 ft backflip on at Datkfest) and even though its 7 years old the geometry still seems so relevant and the bike just feels perfect underneath me.

  13. I still have my GT i-Drive 23 years later, and it’s still handling trials well enough, I will say I notice a difference between that & my Scott but still a gem to ride.

  14. My 2002 Klein Palomino is still a joy to ride, and I've kept it in good shape. I don't think it's up to most modern trails, which have been developed over the last decade to match contemporary bikes, but it's still good on flowy trails, pavement, and "gravel". The 26" wheels and relatively steep geometry make it more nimble than my two 29ers.
