God damn this pizza is flipping massive is your door wide enough first time on a cargo ebike oh the the Turning is a bit [Music] mad yes yes peeps welcome back to a brand new episode today is Saturday and the time has just gone 4:30 p.m. tonight I’m not going to be working for deliver Uber Eats or just e in fact I’m not going to be working for any app I’m working directly for a restaurant tonight and the restaurant that I’m working directly for tonight is called Voodoo rays and they sell the biggest pizza in London it’s a New York style pizza place and I’ve got a 4-Hour shift with them tonight starting at 5:00 p.m. until 900 p.m. and the way I got this shift was through Rodeo works so I didn’t just ring up the restaurant and say hey do you need a pizza delivery guy for tonight I went onto the rodeo app and they have a section on there called Rodeo works and they post block shifts on there that you can book once you’re verified so you’ve uploaded your CBT you’ve uploaded your work to write and stuff in the UK and tonight I’m going to be getting paid £379 for 4our shift and that works out to be £1 1345 per hour so it is the minimum wage guaranteed minimum wage and it doesn’t matter how many deliveries I do I could do one delivery I could do 20 I’m still going to get paid the £ 5379 my shift is starting at 5 however it’s not good to be just on time so I want to arrive a little bit earlier and get my briefing from the manager over at Voodoo Ray this is actually a restaurant that I picked up from in my previous episode when I was talking about their massive pizza boxes that are 22 in and they’ve actually got an ebike that is specifically designed to carry these uh massive pizzas so hopefully someone orders one of those pizzas tonight and I can take off this motorbike helmet take off this jacket cuz I am sweating already and I can get on the E Bike and see what it’s like to ride one of these cargo bikes because I’ve never ridden one before and it could be an experience let’s go and deliver London’s biggest pizza all right then here we are oh I don’t think I can park here I think I’m going to have to go around the back all right let’s go around the back [Music] I’ll be able to park here it should be good I don’t know we’ll find out if I come back to a ticket I’m going to be fuming oh there’s motorcycle parking right there I’m going to park there there we go this is much better bang opposite the [Music] restaurant all right let me introduce myself I’ll bring you guys back this is kind of awkward all right so whilst I’m waiting for some orders to come in I’m going to be getting a pizza lesson yeah let’s do this but to get to 22 in you got to do this for a while no first some this on first on the top more more than that W wo it feels like it’s going to split would it split no it honestly feels like it’s going to [Music] break oh this stays on here yeah you don’t you don’t Chuck it off oo that is hot in there God damn so it’s uh quiet at the moment I thought I’d just uh show you around the bike whilst I’m waiting for a job to come in let’s open up the bike I’ve got the keys on me oh damn so it opens up pretty big check this out it’s got like a standard yell lock yeah that’s a decent capacity in there yeah it’s it’s pretty chilled out I knew it was going to be a quiet one tonight I knew it weren’t going to be like super super busy um because I’m working direct for the restaurant so it’s literally whenever an order comes in that’s when I’ll take it and deliver it all right so jobs in you going to pass it through there yeah nice one I’m not a camera girl look good okay hold on there we go nice one thank you all right first job is in peeps let’s do this I didn’t think they’ll have a thermal bag big enough this is a uh 18in Pizza we are going 6 minutes away turn the bike on first time on a cargo ebike oh the Turning is a bit mad I’ll let him go first cuz I don’t want to Stack it this feel is very weird oh I just made the light as well all right mine the glass mine the glass damn this bike’s got 14 gears oh don’t please don’t do that and if I’m going to stack it Ry Lane is going to be the worst place to do that it is busy down here ah this is a piece of cake I was really worried about riding this bike honestly time now is half 6 so I’ve gone an hour and a half with no orders but someone’s ordered an 18 in I think it’s a pepperoni and a uh portion of mac and cheese oh the assistance on this is feels good really I should have utilized that time and uh got used to this bike before I head out on the road this is one of those moments if you overthink things things can go horribly wrong so just pretend that I’m riding a normal [Music] bicycle and FYI this part here is part of the cycle Lane I’m not cycling on the pavement as you can see there’s a bike on the floor at the Crossing I’m not cycling on the pavement a this is going to be a bit tricky though cuzz this bit of the road is tight sorry I almost got to ride this like it’s a car I got like a yeah it is cuz it’s literally like probably the biggest vehicle that I’ve actually ridden before but it’s telling me to turn left here no chance I’m not fitting through there I’m just going to carry on going straight up and then turn [Music] left lovely jly oh all right off of the main road now God damn I’m I’m honestly concentrating so much it looks like it’s easier than it actually is like I thought it’d be a piece of cake ride in this thing but the whole feeling of it is weird normally on a bike you’re leaning whereas this you’re going to have to steer a little bit I’m going to park it right here yeah this is nuts this is crazy I’m bringing out my phone like I’m uh about to put the delivery code in hello how you doing all right good is your door wide enough I was like uh what the how they deliver these pieces it’s my it’s my first time using it yeah my first ever time but it’s good it works well and I’m surprised they actually have a bag big enough enjoy mate have a good weekend first one done let’s get back to the shop now I know this video is going to be a lot more chilled out than uh my regular videos because like I said in the beginning this is direct from the restaurant you know I don’t have like loads and loads of restaurants I can pick up from to be honest I was looking forward to something like this as well cuz it’s a little bit more chilled out I don’t know I think it’s a new experience like I’ve done over 20,000 deliveries now easily yeah something like this just something new you know oh look at that there’s a Zumo van opposite us and this bike I believe is powered by Zumo fancy bumping into you this is a uh I think this is an urban Arrow I think the bike’s called not really clued up when it comes to uh EC cargo bikes to be completely honest but so far first delivery got off to a shaky start just cuz of my nerves but after that I was all right yeah I made me own pizza as I was saying earlier on got to eat some of that as well that was lovely my first time ever making a pizza yeah what do you think peep should I get my own cargo bike for the channel I can brand it up with London eats I think that’ll be quite cool and maybe we can do some like really crazy parcel delivery videos oh ball bags can’t believe this thing’s got 14 gears I still can’t get over it but yeah currently uh approaching Ry Lane which is uh the busiest part of pekam and it’s sort of like it’s like the central London of pekam if that makes sense like P it’s the padil of London busiest spot the gears don’t want to change oh there we go now they’ve changed all right let me not go into gear 14 it doesn’t like that [Music] we actually just got two more orders for m is that all right then yeah of course are both of them going to be going together yeah you might so I can put stops in yeah I’ll do closest one first all right so we got two more orders on all right peeps we got a bigon 22 in so this is the biggest one that they do after this one I think you’ve got 18 and a 22 and got 4 22s 4 22s wow okay damn it’s just this one yeah nice one I’ll see you soon cheers man all right so we’ got got the biggest pizza in London right now going to be delivered God damn this pizza is flipping huge let’s go do this this customer is 3 minutes away 0.7 mil nice and quick ain’t going to take long to get there oh honestly I am so happy that I chose to do this shift tonight like I’ve seen it popping up on Rodeo works and I was like should I do it should I do it and uh I picked up from there last week in my delivery shift and I was like no I have to see what this is all about I’ve worked out the gear and system you can’t be pedaling and change gear at the same time you got to stop pedaling and then you can change [Music] gear hello mate nice one have a good one yeah cheers oh mate people’s reactions are so funny all right back to the restaurant I believe I’ve got another one after [Music] this all right back at base let’s see what the next Pats are or the next order is this the next one so this collection okay good thank God all right next order is up it’s going uh 15 minutes away I’m going to be taking uh my FAL bag because that other one’s just way too big luckily I have my bike here with me I mean I could go and deliver these on this bike to be honest but I got the cargo bike so why not go through Buress Park it’s going to be quite busy in here today as well of it being Saturday and a warm evening time now is half 7 so I got an hour and a half left on this shift I mean I totally could have taken my moped I probably would have been back at the restaurant already but on a lovely day like this you just want to cycle as much as I love my uh my electric moped you can’t beat this car look at that cornering that’s Formula 1 stuff right there oh sh this one’s going to be a bit difficult though yeah smashed it smashed it I got fly in my eyeball ow ow ow got fly in my eye I try not cycle too close to the car doors you guys were having a go at me in the last video for that and I I I I I agree I definitely agree what’s going on here the lights ain’t even working and if they’re not working on both sides that means we’re going to be sitting there for a bloody long time all right there’s no more cars coming I say you just go for it mate now everyone’s going oh no no now they’re coming down no let’s just do it actually cuz they’ve had their turn the traffic lights must be broken on both sides all those cars just come flying down there so surely it’s now it’s our turn oh it was one car which is now on the p mement nice one are they working on this side no they’re dead on this side as well downn that Junction there’s going to be so many arguments there later on I’m I’m kind of hoping there isn’t another one to deliver right now because I am so thirsty I might have two okay are they big ones I think they’re both 18s both 18s you might get them in yours actually let me see uh yeah I might do yeah I’m kind of uh I’m kind of done with this cargo right now I’m flipping shattered just waiting on one more but both at the same time it just makes a bit sense yeah that one was pretty far man all right I’m just going to see if this box fits in my pizza box in my back box sorry a look at that wait is that going to close you know what I’ll get that in there you know yes it fits in there perfectly all right there we go I’m changed now I’m going out to deliver on my moped I’ve chosen to not wear my jacket because I’m an idiot and I’m joking I’m I am really hot plus I’m an idiot because I should be wearing protection but boiling I send you like the with the addresses the names yeah and names are on the boxes cool cool you all right do that yeah all good mate you thank you ideally I want to put it in that thermal [Music] bag all right this customer is 1 mile away 5 minutes let’s go let’s go oh it’s uh been a good evening TI 22 minutes past 8 now not long left like 38 minutes to be exact uh I don’t know what delivery this is but you know what even though I said it doesn’t matter if you deliver one pizza or 20 you still get paid for your time for being at the restaurant and booking that slot I’d rather be busy I’d rather be on the road and doing deliveries than just sitting there doing nothing and I know most people think what you’d rather work than sit around and do nothing honestly I would because the time goes faster and on the evening like this it’s 21° and it’s half nearly halfast 8 like I’d rather be out on the road than sitting in a hot restaurant a massive shout out to all the staff at voodo Rays I was a little bit nervous in doing this shift because I don’t know even now I’m still quite nervous with meeting new people yeah everyone’s been absolutely lovely there like they’ve been so polite so kind and really welcoming and I’m not just saying that because I know they’re going to be watching this video if they were a bunch of I would say they’re a bunch of on this video but yeah they they honestly have been really really nice I think I’m here I think this is it all right delivery for yeah be done nice one you’re right mate app cheers nice one have a good one all right next customer 5 minutes away we’re going 1.2 miles literally like equal distance between restaurant and this drop off and from here to the other one yeah and I was panicking earlier because I I forgot to charge up my bike because I was delivering last night and then when I saw this shift pop up because I had this video planned um but I just didn’t know when I was going to be doing the video so as soon as I the block was posted today this morning well no it’s like early afternoon um I booked it straight away and then I was like cuz I always have a set of batteries charg because I’ve got two sets of batteries for this bike so I wasn’t stressing out I was thinking I’m definitely going to have a set of batteries like ready to go I’m not going to need to charge anything and then like an hour before the shift I was like oh let me start getting ready because I don’t want to be on time I want to be early and I went down to get the uh second set of batteries and there was only three bars and I was like oh my God what am I going to do yeah I was stressing out I was like imagine having to cancel my first ever Rodeo block I’d be fuming and I’m sure Rodeo would be fuming with me as well the the process of booking a shift on Rodeo is really really easy you can go on there and you can see shifts all the way up until the end of the month like there’s there’s loads and loads of them but most of them are booked because a lot of delivery Riders now uh they’ve noticed how quiet it can be doing um food delivery so it’s really nice to see Rodeo coming up with this this uh new feature because I never thought there was going to go down this route and I’m really happy to see it honestly big shout out to uh will and Alfie over at Rodeo and all all of the team behind Rodeo yeah I’ve got 28 minutes left of my shift if I can get another one delivered then I’ll be happy with that definitely need to get back and get my jacket on I don’t even know why I’m riding around in a t-shirt it’s a stupid idea damn that BMW is so cool super clean as as well I love old cars especially old like German cars all right delivery thank you like super busy and like I’m running around like a headless chicken like I normally am but I honestly have enjoyed it and I’ve made myself 53 quid in 4 hours I’ve made the minimum wage I can’t
