If anyone’s interested, he says (to the effect of) “KEO! Mine are KEO!” Then I think he’s swearing in German, then the second bike comes and he says “this is speedplay my friend”
All the neutral service have lists of what equipment each rider is using, still, the initial mistake is on both parties as pollit should’ve been shouting “KEO, 58cm” as soon as he saw shimano. (Guessing he’s a 58!) to help them out. The second bike coming out with speedplay is a bit of a joke though, speedplay looks totally different to LOOK but it is a very stressful situation in fairness.
A good reason to have shimano as a sponsor, you can bet they’ve got bikes for every size with spd’s but probably only one or two with look and speedplay.
