When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.

I love you. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I’ll fear no evil. This is where the attack happened. And this is where Joe Burkett was murdered. No! -I don’t wanna leave you. -I’ll be fine. I’ve got something for you. Nanny cam. Why have you got me a secret camera? You can keep an eye on Lily when you’re not here. How can a dead man appear on a secret camera? What, my dead son whom we buried? Stop this. I think you should get help. I want answers. I think your husband stumbled upon something big. The family have this private bank account. There’s something more going on. I’ll help you. I keep thinking I’m seeing him. Did you see his body? No. I let Judith take care of everything. Maybe they faked the autopsy report. Joe is dead. Or he’s messing with you. Or someone else is.

    1. If you want to properly maintain the suspense with these types of conspiracy thrillers, you can't hire a guy like Richard Armitage to play a man who dies in the first 20 minutes of the show. Who's gonna believe that Richard Armitage took a job as a minor character who only appears in the first half of the first episode? As soon as you see him die, you know he's going to be back, somehow. You need a lesser known actor for this part. But then, a lesser known actor can't sell Netflix subscriptions.

    2. I think casting Michelle Keegan was a mistake, that's my only reservation. As an attack helicopter pilot on the frontline in Afghanistan, she was a flimsy Lara Croft who looked totally out of place, and in civilian life her performance was persistently wooden, unconvincing and, at best, embarrassing to watch. Luckily, she was surrounded by titan actors, such as Joanna Lumley and Adeel Akhtar, who cleverly deflected her withering incompetencies which, left to their own devices, would have completely wrecked this otherwise great series.

    3. I really like reading Harlan Coben's books and I did read this book already, but Netflix version is great too. I can feel that they try their best to present every important elements in novel and they did really great.

    4. Do anybody know the name of the Netflix seeies where it was about this black family and they daughter end up getting kidnapped and at da end of the series the father was seen pushing a car in the lake??I cant remember what all it was about but i forgot the name of it

    5. This show is just so GOOD like the plot twists in this show kept me wondering for so so long i just couldn’t resist. Just finished watching it and i never usually comment but i just had to say something about this show. Michelle played so well and i just loved everything about it. Especially in the last minutes of episode 8, when Abby said she was going to name her baby “Maya“ and Sami was like “Oh. Hello Maya“ and then piano music starts playing and then it just ends there like JUST SO GOOD.

    6. I love the plot and everything but i must say the main character is not the smartest. She keeps telling everyone everything. Instead of investigating it herself she just straight up asking questions to people. Nobody does that.
