[Music] this [Music] [Music] is there and lyd is lyd lyd is down there but that’s funny because actually right next to each other we’ve been on the train for a really long time I think we were supposed to arrive about now actually and uh our Airbnb host just m just and said um we had discussed arrangements for our arrival because she’s going out tonight and she won’t be home till midnight she was wondering if we’d be in before 7 she just messaged me and said are you on the train to me that’s 2 hours late and I said yeah I think so and we left on time but we’ve been sitting in train stations forever I don’t know what’s going on and um yeah go buy more gummies we can enjoy the weird ones that tastes like bitter orange bubble gums um European candies weird I’ve had some I really like but those those are kind of [Music] weird we have arrived at our Airbnb in niece we took an Uber from the station because our train got in 3 hours late and to be honest my I am so tired I really couldn’t wrap my head around figuring out how to take the local train and then I was going to be at least 20 minutes walk no matter what so we just got off and called an Uber which honestly like an Uber a day it’s not going to cost more than taking the metro so I think we’re just going to do that when we’re here um unless it’s convenient to take the bus oh good so our window opens into this lovely Garden we can go and sit down there we can’t really see it from here I know there’s an orange tree there’s also a lemon tree but then this is our view [Music] [Applause] good morning from niece this is the bathroom in our Airbnb it’s got this huge window that I’ve opened to let in some fresh air there a huge Garden outside everybody has Gardens there’s flowering shrubs for privacy it’s like being in a can handle I don’t know howse to describe it it smells so good um I got this dress I’ll show you in the big mirror in the hallway in a minute but I got this dress at the flea Mark yesterday and I got these earrings they’re like chunky Pearl drops they’re kind of retro I think they’re from the 80s I think all of this is from the’80s actually so I got these and then I also got a necklace I’ll show you in a second the necklace it has this like bezel set pendant and this it’s super simple but it’s perfect on its own just love so here’s the dress this is the front hall of the house we’re staying in just I love it it’s so cute I love the bright pink color I feel it’s perfect for someone this ruffled shoulders which if you know me you know I love Ruffles this view on the front door like how is this real life this is beautiful but we’ve made it as far as V sh V FR sh is like an a mile or plus that way the train station is above us and we waited like a half hour for the train when it arrived it was so full and we managed to squish our way on um but I was really I wouldn’t statement that sounds too calm it was almost a human crush it wasn’t good it um we I would not have tried to get on if we had been going further but because I thought we only wanted to go one stop I was like I’m not waiting another half hour for a train it’s hot um so now we’re here and I think we actually meant to go to bullo there yeah which is the next town so now we’re trying to figure out how to get there and I think we’re going to try to take the bus cuz I don’t really want to take the train again and then I think we’re going to bike to um St Jean Kat Farah because it’s not that far and there are line bikes available so that would be better than one biking will be fun it will and it’s it’s a really nice day it was hot to sit in the Sun but it was a really nice day so and we have to go all the way up there and we just came up a flight of stops about that far I was just about to say the same thing that would be really nice yeah I would pay five so hot everything has gone wrong we’re not about to get back on that train and be crushed alive crushed to death I mean so we walked all the way from down there Tu there which is a lot farther than it seems okay it’s it’s really it’s really uh quite it’s Steep and then I tried to we tried to figure out how to use the bus but you have to have an app I can’t get an app because I don’t have a phone number and then well actually no we just don’t have a card but it is a problem not having a phone number I’ve been using a Google Voice number and it worked well last night for Uber but it stopped working and I contacted Uber to figure out what was going on tried to use my regular number and just deal with the fees and it deleted my eim so now I don’t have Wi-Fi and it’s just been like that everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong so we’re walking I’m really glad we didn’t come in the summer because the heat would be unbearable it’s there’s somebody swimming down there cool um it’s like the 70s it’s perfect and I cannot cannot imagine how horribly hot in my cant would be in the summer and also how much more crowded the trains are like that was insane they are bunnies look how cute they’re just chilling the garden [Music] a we’re here for lunch for the sorted cheek and a m tail and then it got real gray and I came te not you remember what said now I remember oh how to pour it properly it’s recording this is fantastic it’s cranberry Violet syrup lemonade and rosemary our oh your salad looks very good I’m excited to eat okay it seems to be working our lovely lunch guys a dessert iion being so patient I’m fine with it [Music] guys oh this puree mhm okay it’s peach rose sorbet pistachio ice cream we’re going to have to dig a little whipped cream okay it’s not and these little things on top are Maring [Applause] [Music] on the little map they’ve provided there the different Gardens are marked by month with a number of x’s on what you should see and what is like best and literally they translated the the words to like need to see and unmissable so like there are no Gardens that you should skip ever I don’t know if that’s what they meant but it was kind of funny scallops very cute my kind of cavers this is like [Music] [Applause] actually you should have worn your puffy dress shut up this is gorgeous [Applause] [Music] found a restaurant for dinner and we got more virgin Vitas cuz we think they’re really refreshing it’s really really really cute down here sandwich came it’s a little bigger than we were expecting but I guess it’s okay cuz we’re sharing yeah it’s like it’s it’s [Music] technically yeah I mean that’s a piece of bread in [Music] between I’m breaking we tried to ride lime bikes up to where we’re staying because we saw there was lime bikes up there and it turns out there aren’t any parking spots so I don’t know what the lime bikes were doing up there what happened to Chin I’m saying someone parked one there and they still had the show is accessible but they’re they’re going to get a f for park that’s probably true so anyway we brought our bikes back down it doesn’t take very long and then we have to walk walking to get pastries because we kind of feel like we owe it to ourselves after this day we it’s been fun but it’s been hard we did acquire pastries pastries I got a mini toxon and an for cake on TR and got an apple cat there’s a cat oh sh chill out Rebecca is describing how I make PL I’m CU it’s true so true Lydia is that character that bashes in the back door of a Tavern and shoves all the stuff off the tavern table and rolls out the old mouth it’s like this is what we’re doing the plan and it’s not intentional it’s just how I am just not like other girls I’m really bossy oh we did get back though we did get back by the skin of our [Music] teeth finished getting ready and and we’re going to have some breakfast now we stopped at a we stopped at a grocery store to get there filming from flattering angles we stopped at a grocery store right before we got on the lime bikes and grabbed some stuff for breakfast because yesterday all we had was pastries because we didn’t plan anything we didn’t have a chance to the way we got here so we’re going to eat now but I wanted to show you our room from the hall and it’s right next to the front door which is nice and convenient um and it just has really Dr Decor honestly it seems to on the bookshelf with the ship and the uh the retan chair I knew it was a good find and then the garden and the the bat is just bright and fresh and has nice art and all the books are about architecture and there’s some in German and yeah so there’s not much to see but of course here’s the lovely Garden the sun’s coming out I think it’s there’s a slight chance of rain today so hopefully we don’t get rained out got some vanilla yogurt and some compt which I was really excited to see comp not sure um I heard of this and it’s like applesauce with different fruits mil so it’s like a whole jar of jam that you just get to eat delightful I love eating Jam straight out a jar so this is right at my alley then we got some of the age waffles um and our host provided some uh coffee and tea so that’s breakfast very delicious this will be great at the yogurt so very aesthetic breakfast so we’re taking the local bus to eza today I realized she was a source of information about the area so I asked her how to get bus tickets and she said you can just buy them on the bus she also helpfully informed us that we could take we could take it from a nearby bus stop instead of having to go all the way down e we arrived at the bus stop we I thought to look at the direction and I had put in the direction going toward East so I switched it and there was one sooner in like 25 minutes so we came up right away a bus that said as Village just freezed by our stop that was our bus that was our bus they sto nice one’s not for another 50 minutes the bus is supposed to come at 11:18 and it’s now like 11:22 and Google Maps is saying it’s Departed but we’ve never seen it it’s not working according to plan and I don’t see any apparent reason why it shouldn’t be because it seems very straightforward now that we have the proper information another update the bus we were trying to catch just went past 20 minutes late but you know I I really lost my taste for eza I think we’re just going to go to m at this point okay so this ship here was there yesterday and I’m just realizing now how big it is cuz look at these little boats over here know yeah for size the size of this look at thatment building on the other side yeah I know it’s it’s absolutely massive boat that is like a hotel boat yeah the cruise ship is gone so the cruise ship must beor oh goodness that can making him new words h normous went down these steps and these will take us right into the froster there are these the steps we came up yesterday I don’t think so I think we came up a different [Music] set saw you for the first time today and now you just can’t leave my [Music] brain we found even more steps these little byways are so cute and colorful we didn’t even see any of V FR ter there yesterday because we were at the train station and it was kind of far from here and we wanted to go up not down look at this oh my [Music] goodness way we have acquired a pizza we got pizza [Music] margarit it had cheese tomato sauce olives and herbs sounded good yeah so that’s what we got [Music] this one feels like it needs to be in the sea longer but these ones nice fine yeah and I attempting to use Ro PS and I’m not sure [Music] [Music] there we go now you see we just got ice cream from a place called Tutti Frutti and it’s very very good I got coffee and ciss which is current and Becca got a very aesthetic combination of vanilla pachu and I kind of like so [Music] good and also found two pieces of China just make that one into a [Music] necklace [Music] function this is not how this is supposed to be be glad I it’s extremely extrem a with my my I [Music] [Music] [Music] back for a [Music] second Becca has said multiple times that this is a very good day while eating ice cream and looking for sea sea glass simple Simple Pleasures right look at the painting up top oh it’s so pretty [Music] we’re discussing Monaco’s geography and history and demographics oh yes because Alfred II’s mother is Grace Kelly right yeah we’re in that’s crazy we’re in Grace Kelly land apparently Monaco is the second smallest country in the world and that led me to realize that this is actually the fifth country I’ve been to United States Italy Vatican City France and Monaco cuz I went to Vatican City last year really ticking ticking up we found like a a food court kind of place with some restaurants in it where we eating there’s so there’s so few restaurants on Google in these towns it’s actually kind of hard to find somewhere to eat online um you kind of just have to come and take your chances I did find this place online but walking past I’m like there’s so many other places that were not listed at all it’s kind of interesting I feel like in the US it’s very uncommon for a business not to be listed online spaghetti on bule clams and I got this this smells good I haven’t had any Seafood since we’ve been here so almost like fresh herbs almost like something salty that smells good it’s very good yeah turle is really sweet mhm this has loads of fresh herbs on it it’s kind of nice this is a refreshing towel these look delicious trying to shake it out of my pocket personally I don’t gamble but I do watch dream F that’s not like [Laughter] better we finally managed to get a taxi in sise I I had thought I had tried the other day to download the bolt app because i’ had seen a lot about that um but I was in a mode of my phone number doesn’t work my Google Voice number doesn’t work and it didn’t even occur to me that it would work for other apps it was just Uber that was being annoying so we got we got a a bolt ride this morning nice it was so nice was that different than the Uber honestly I mean I I would have treed my luggage down the hill but it was raining this morning and I did not want to deal with that so now we just put our luggage in a luggage Locker we don’t have our train until like 2: and it’s only like what a little after 10: now so we’re going to go find somewhere to get breakfast and see the market of flowers here in E Becca got a chai latte with caramel up verdict is very [Music] good this is this is the famous cute little square in nie we just stumbled onto it by accident when we started at L CL which has very good coffee yes quack flowers are so pretty 4 okay I mean it’s a little expensive but one France on Mayday which is like the equivalent of French Labor Day um it’s tradition to buy each other lily of the valley so we’re finding lily of the valley to buy each other hey Becca I bought you some lily of the valley hey Li I bought you some lily of the valley thanks happy Mayday happy Mayday the paer was one that had really good prices so we each got a few things I got a p pomier it’s very sticky all right here’s half half of my [Music] pomier it’s very crunchy it would be good with coffee zuccini PE tiny raisin pal however you say that and a beignet I also got one of the little mini raisin ones and I got a Bros that’s Orange Blossom flavored I usually like raisins but these are nice and like hydrated it is nice it’s very moist and softt my Bri flew away the bag just stuck over there I have to go get it I might go back and get a kich line like back had she had zucchini but uh it was very good you need to [Music] [Applause] [Music] like kind of wanted to go give him some money in true fashion we we found donuts oh that’s so good I love jelly filed Donuts this is called M and Blacker got this delicious mozzarella more appc they got more apps they’re so good M and we made it the training literally just as soon as it started ringing I think not having a stressful morning helped us in experience a lot more and we spent a lot of time looking for seag glass again cloudy because we would have got so burned we did a lot of genuine grounding like stretch the ground it was great we found a lot more and we got a little thing up new get her shop we’re going to try this this is hard to open B ofie it’s fluffy and it has nuts it looks like it has in it n so I’m guessing it’ll be similar L to Taffy kind of [Music] marshmallowy marshmallow Weg I think there’s paper on it yeah it’s paper I don’t know if you can hear it or not how the h it’s kind of like wafer though I’ve done it with cheese too cream wax I think you I think it’s sugar cuz it’s dissolving thank goodness sorry I have eaten like the baby Bell cheeses with the wax because I thought you were supposed to eat that before so we’ve been down this road before I think it’s good the wax no get yes [Music] we have arrived in AV and we’re taking a train to Aon Center and then we still have a 15minute walk tour with I’m really excited to show you um the hotel that we’re staying at booked this night in the trip specifically so well one that we would have a little bit of time in PRS but also because I really really wanted to stay at this hotel the loud speakers going we’re safely on the train we have all our stuff with we’ve been on here for like 15 minutes and every time I hear a train announcement now my blood pressure like skyrockets I get a little panic attack we’re supposed to get on a train like even when we’re like on it or get off the train I’m like so stressed about it arrived at our hotel it’s zarand my forehead veins are standing out because the walk was s anyway not not exactly a a suitable arrival for this this hotel but nonetheless I mean you can see a little bit of behind me we’re going to get Vega’s reaction to all of the amenities so this is the room it’s the front Hotel stair there’s [Music] stairs TV is built into the mirror closets that look like rooms we have a window it looks out onto the post Palace fresh fruit fruit pretty it came with the magazine too that’s so pretty this is everything I everything I dreamed would be that’s pretty let me get it to the bathroom which has double band which is PR nice hello there is a marble [Music] tub there’s also check out this fancy light switch there’s also shower this is the cutest shower I’ve ever seen hello you can’t really see us there hey we’re going to do a luxury chocolate F boxing this is not sponsored sadly no how many are there they like really tiny oh oh Mas this is raspberry that’s raspberry that’s raspberry this is that’s this is Prine cuz it’s brown I want to try that one too okay okayy a fancy gold beef one this is definitely dark chocolate it’s very good is Passion food M I’m not going to be able to eat very many of these tonight I like chocolate that’s really good good mhm [Music] I went to live in this bathroom it’s so pretty I wish it was possible to tour all of the rooms and see all of the different decorated schemes because every room is unique there was a red toil room that I was kind of hoping me be put in I really love this one too I went down to the area SL the bar while BEC was showering and I tried a mocktail um it wasn’t really mocktail it was just non alcoholic drink it’s mostly juice it’s pretty sweet I think the girl Manning the bar not the most flent in English which no judgment because I I haven’t even attempted a lot of the time over here to speak French because I think people understand English better than they understand my French so it’s just it’s easier to just speak English um honestly it feels more light being like forced interaction and bad French tired I can’t think of what I do next to my skin care routine anyway I tried to peach juice peach juice with lavender and I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t a mocktail because I was hoping it’d be kind of fizzy and less sweet and then like as I was finishing I saw the cocktail on the menu I was like oh well but I absolutely couldn’t have anything else because dinner was so good we went to a place around the corner called Cafe Roma and everything was delicious was very good I was able to book us a car to take us down nie and I think I’m going to do the same thing tomorrow when we have to leave there’s two stations there’s avenon which is on the main line of the train oh I already did my see I’m tired I already did my moisturizer put cite over it don’t H anything there’s like a Central Station and then an outline station that’s on the mainline we had to get a train from Avenue Station to Avenue and Central and we had to wait about 40 minutes because it only runs once an hour and I don’t know what time it runs in the morning and I think I feel like train schedules are not as readily available online as like L schedules is that just me I don’t know anyway I’m contemplating that it would be nice to book another Uber alternative tomorrow morning I have a prism on my face I’m the best look miror over there um but we want to spend some time in the morning exploring that know there’s there’s actually quite a bit to see here we’re right across from the pop Palace which is where I remember there’s a sign about it somebody the fifth a long time ago back when the popes would sometimes reside in France before Vatican City was established as the center of Catholicism um Aon was the center of Catholicism and the popes resided here across the street [Music] sh [Music] we were going going to key we’re going to go out and explore but it’s actually kind of raining really hard and it’s pretty cold this morning that’s what we did last night but we have like twice as much luggage anyway so maybe we’ll just go down and see how much of coffee is not a full breakfast just a coffee because we already have pastries we brought with us but this place is super cool our Airbnb host Den nie left us a nice review cuz they review ow they review um they review their guests you don’t have to reach thank you very much tasty can I try that is really good yeah it is really good rather [Music] refreshing I think I really may have cracked my elbow we’ll see if it keeps rning it might just be badly [Music] bruised we’re at Union [Music] banery TR the I’m going to try the P yes I [Music] know I beg BEC to turn around so we could go to I really really liked their coffee and we had it at the Galler [Music] last so cute so adorable [Music] many this is all mustard whole mustard honey mustard I bet this is good that was some chicken tenders that got some stff the Paris this is very [Music] cute what be find American paper cups they’re not even plastic no they’re [Music] not my straw is wa honey ginger is very [Music] strong the [Music] ginger it’s good put [Music] how does it smell really good here smell just kidding that just smell really [Music] good you can’t cut your steak good morning we are leaving Paris today I’m actually pretty ready to go home it’s been a nice break from reality but I’m I’m prepared to go back to reality for sure we stayed at a little hotel called Hotel Paradis Paradise um in the night it’s actually on the exact same street as our ourn was we liked the nth a lot there’s a lot of really cute restaurants like very hip little restaurants p a lot on the way home from the cafe and as well as like more authentic looking Parisian cafes and we’re going to go get some pastries from Johan Noel Julian Baner where we had really good pastries a couple times to bring home to our family because that’s what everybody requested um and then we’re going to get breakfast at bom bouquet Cafe which is right around the corner Becca ate there the other day and she said they had really good pancakes and matcha [Music] [Applause] hello there and
