Biking in snow and minus temperatures, is that even possible? ❄️😮

Today is international Winter Bike to Work Day! This annual event encourages people across the globe to bike to work instead of driving, both with environment and physical well-being in mind. 🚴🚴‍♀️

We dare say this day will be embraced by many Swedes, (almost) regardless of temperatures!

Are you braving the weather today? Our Swede of the day provides a couple of tips.

I kind of biked throughout the year during all kinds of weathers I get to work even faster than in in a car welcome to email here we ride our bikes all year round okay my best advice for riding your bike in the winter is one studded or spiked tires quite wide ones for good grip good lighting so you’re both seen and can see when you’re on the road ascenders both on the back and on the front to keep the snow and wet out of your feet really thick gloves kind of lobstery things and a good buff like to keep the snow and the wind out of your neck and goggles with see-through glass to keep the wind and the snow out of your eyes it’s nicer if it’s sunny of course but I I try to ride through the heavy rainfall and the snowfall
