[Music] welcome to the bitter barbarian welcome everybody welcome to today’s video today we are opening a snack crate video that’s right it’s not great time again and we brought an old man how about that how you doing old man lovely no great i found him wandering on the street uh the nursing home and just let him out so this is dear old dad in case anybody didn’t see the last video i’ll put the link up in the corner so you can check that once a year i get invited once once a year this is this is like christmas for me except not quite as good all right so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna check out our snack right our snack crate is a monthly subscription box that has a mystery snacks from around the world we have no idea where it’s going to come from where do you think we’re going to get our snacks from this year china china i don’t know about that but maybe i’m going to sales comes from china everything else comes from china but they don’t assemble snacks like that so i’m gonna say yugoslavia i have no idea let’s check it out and see what we got all right let’s see i enjoy my snack crate videos oh goodness i was gonna say chechnya but there’s no n um so yeah this could be an interesting one interesting one we have not gotten one from there those people haven’t seen snack crate before this is how it looks it’s got some information about the country and information about the snacks i’m not gonna read that but you’re welcome to read it um i’ll put the information on snack rate down below let’s take a look all right so dear old dad you’re allergic to hazelnut is that correct correct all right we’ll try to avoid that if possible i can’t guarantee that all right let’s go ahead and see if we can take a look at our snacks let’s see what we got here let’s pull one out at a time here all right first one we got a prep key here prop key i’ll let you open that don’t eat anything until i’ve read something all right craft key looks like dog food could be a perfect blend of sweet and salty this nutty and precious puffed corn snack is made with crushed roasted peanuts providing an extra crispy texture go ahead and grab some have one and it just kind of looks weird they look like packing peanuts it looks like packing peanuts yeah um oh and it tastes like packing would anyone else like to try some of these all right pass that to the we have an audience the audience today that’s right the peanut gallery trying some peanuts all right so what do you think one one out of five five being the best one’s the worst one one okay i’ll give it a one also disgusting it is disgusting it tastes like something that has peanut butter on it that’s stale mm-hmm there’s a little stale some of the snacks you get in snack crate gets stale that’s just how it is failed peanut butter a one got ones ones any other people all right ones all the way around that was not a good start i am very nervous yes let’s hope the next is better all right so nice try let’s see if we can find a sweet snack this time all right what do we got here we got a pedro why would pedro be in chechia that doesn’t make it he says he visited he came over the fence he came over the fence there you go all right chechia okay let’s try not to be wildly racist okay just so you know wow all right all right this does not look much more apt it’s strawberry i’ll read let me read you just stand no you could i don’t see a pedro on here oh dear they snuck it in there he came over the fence he definitely did all right go ahead and open it up because i don’t see it as a choice hmm every now and then they’ll do that they’ll put us no that’s not a good thing they don’t even want to admit it this is a 20 to 5 minute video it’s going to be a 40 minute video when you open this oh there you go very good all right cut a piece all right go ahead and grab one don’t be scared don’t be scared you want to be in this video pull it oh my god there you go just to get in your mouth all right let’s see what we got appears to be some sort of a gummy candy they always seem to put those gummy it’s covered in sugar too italy hmm i drove all right boy is that sweet no sugary kind of raspberry tasting it’s strawberry strawberry whatever it’s a berry all right what’d you think two typical gummy not very good i’ll give it a three four got a four three i didn’t try it didn’t try it it wasn’t worth it all right so it looks like it’s sort of into the middle but i’m not a huge gummy fan some of the gummy fans are seem to like it a little bit better all right let’s see what we got here ah we got a hob zombie a hob zombie i’ve never heard of that before let’s see if we can find it this time hmm hob zombie we’re not doing so good i do not even see it on here what do they do this is this is what you’re stravinsky stravazzinski well i don’t see that oh here we go um feel the love with family made potato crisps uh produced using the finest potatoes in the field and dusted generously with extra garlicky seasoning don’t get too close to walter over here all right so like a potato like a look a potato chip with garlic on it maybe ooh is that good that’s not bad if you’re concerned about a vampire chasing after you for a kiss he’ll be uh he’ll be away from you after that go ahead and try that very garlicky i don’t mind it um but it’s very garlicky didn’t you think what’d you think i’ll give it a full a four so you liked it okay very good because five is good right you made a face and then you said four i don’t really know what was happening i was just making the face i see i got you um i’m gonna feel good you weren’t so great i understand we’re not rating me um i’m gonna say three i’ll give it another three okay three another three a five oh someone loves garlic y’all all right very good we’re doing good i guess all right well it seemed to be all over the place let’s see what’s next ah looks like we got some pretzels here med veggies i’m doing i’m doing terrible here you mm-hmm i do not i definitely do not i know you have trouble with english but this is we definitely do and devi what is it cessnick yeah hmm i don’t again i do not see it on there yeah chet nick it looks just like pretzels to me but nick here we go let’s try this one the garlic infused wheat pretzel sticks crunchy texture and salty savor savory flavor profile with will pair effortlessly with your favorite frosty beverage you got your favorite frosty beverage over there yeah i water is it frosty what is this stale well a lot of the snacks are stale i try not to rate them based on that because sometimes i may take off there is a trash can over here that was not the trash can all right that was the floor i don’t think this was ever not stale [Applause] i do know cpr if that’s necessary we can add that on there that was all right awful so very good so what did you like that was out of five for you that was a minus one we almost had a wheel reading um all right i uh so that was a minus okay i thought it was a two i try not to give it state these things have a tendency to be stale from time to time so what y’all that was one one oh dear i get i said two right we’re not doing good this has not ever been a very good box i got to be honest with you all right what do we got we got a jojo vextra jojo vextra um sounds like a surgery it definitely does jojo venezia with uh bright and fruity flavors like lemon orange apple and sour cherry these soft jelly foam candies will have your taste buds begging for another bite they’ll be begging but not for a bite maybe not maybe not let’s see what we got here these don’t open very well i’ll tell you that do you need me to use my ex i need something all right just hold on to it [Music] you don’t put it back give me that what’s wrong with you hmm weird texture it’s like a marshmallow mm-hmm it’s been in a bag for 30 years you can’t get your teeth through it can you it’s kind of it’s very spongy and it’s kind of kind of like a sponge yeah marshmallow i would say marshmallowy it reminds me of those peanuts those little orange peanuts what are they called they used to call them like circus peanuts you know dragon ball yeah i know it’s like circus peanuts but not circus peanuts all right yeah y’all go ahead and taste those what did so what did you think uh i give that a tube a two yeah we’re not doing very good i would say the same i would say also a two this is not hidden goodman all right what’d you all think two people aren’t even willing to try these that’s how bad these appear to be all right what is this one here i’m sorry i opened it before i even read it apernick we got us a pernic on our hands um these are very hard to pronounce per nick i said that very nick bore you viado that’s not right uh get a taste of tradition when you bite into this rich honey gingerbread cake complemented by a sweet blueberry filling and coated with a layer of milk chocolate milk chocolate blueberry and ginger take a piece off that’ll be fine you’re making a terrible mess i know all right very good another stale well again these may have been sitting in a cargo ship off of uh california for two months there’s no telling two thousand so i’m trying not to you know downgrade downgraded because of the stale but as far as the flavor what do you think about the flavor i didn’t think it was that bad i thought well i thought that’s okay i’ll give that a four four okay i would probably give it a four it’s probably one of the best things so far which is not saying much mind you but we got a three bet then got a one and two threes okay so it is a little bit like medicine but maybe you need medicine did you ever think of that so your what is it medicine i don’t know where what kind of medicine you all are taking but i wouldn’t say that all right we got us a uh jahuki a jahuki what is it jahooky okay that’s what you are mm-hmm like a jumbo jelly bean but every but even better a firm shell surrounds a soft chewy strawberry flavored center coated with sweet and slightly sour sugar sour sugar and it’s like a sour gummy i don’t know i don’t like this i don’t like this already these bags the stuff’s sour but the bag’s holding great will you come on thank you let’s do it right here oh yeah oh pure sugar not about nothing but sugar don’t don’t buy it don’t bite it oh gosh when you go it’s a weird soury sugary thing it’s nasty i did not like the consistency of that at all it was just like a sugar thing that just kind of fell apart in your mouth but mine was very sour what’d you all think one one a three oh you didn’t oh four some weird people around here i hated it i would say one all right so we’re not we’re all over the place we’re all over the place all right what is this one we got we got a brew milk a brew mc brew mcduo a broomic duo this tasty bear shaped cake consists of two classic flavors one side is filled with rich milk chocolate the other side is located is loaded with sweet caramel chocolate and caramel open it up and it’s a bear i know so the question is is the caramel in the top half of the bottom half where’s the chocolate in the back does he have a caramel head oh it doesn’t look like a bear you ripped his head off and it has a little brown spot in the middle kind of looks like that’s his belly button it looks like poop to me but okay what’d you think two that was probably one of the better things it just tastes like it wasn’t stale one it was uh like a pound cake with um like some chocolate in it i didn’t taste any caramel at all but maybe i missed something what’d you all think do you like it a four a three a confused look a four okay oh my goodness all right and like i said i would say three four eight all right i gave it three sounds about right it wasn’t bad a lot of other ones that i’ve had have had that kind of same thing a pound cake chocolate kind of thing but instead of caramel i just couldn’t taste any caramel caramel caramel whatever they say all right a so jovi is easy so jovi as a rizzizi sorry i’m beginning to see why they lost the war i don’t think has anything to do with candy um also known as soy slices hmm this it’s been made since not if it was started in 1959. thank you for the history lesson um soy based confectionary was for first produced in 1959 thanks for the spoiler 1959 and has remained a staple in the for the chech people ever since this is one of their staples most people eat bread and things they like this probably got metal in it staple get it oh i know we didn’t need any dad jokes eat it you wanted to be part of this party you eat it well don’t smear it around you know come on give me that be a doofus it kind of looks like a log oh it tastes oh it tastes just exactly like vaseline oh my god oh that’s gross it doesn’t say anything about that’s coconut but it tastes coconutty you’re trying to okay i’m allergic that coconut you said you were allergic to hazelnut taste coconutty meat no i know i’m not giving a whirl okay i was not oh that was the worst yet so what did you think i think mine is 20. oh my gosh it only goes from zero to five all right zero all right then i would say one i’ll give it a one well you are generous well i don’t like it isn’t that nasty that is the nastiest stuff so zero that’s it hey try it you my granddaughters i’m being cooperative yeah you’re being very good and the skinny one in the back will give her a 50. all right so not a good one that was might have been one of the worst ones i have a tendency to agree that’s gonna be the worst yeah oh what somebody give a piece of that to grandma all right we got a polo manche a polo mache oh this is a this is a uh crackers cookies cookies these are snacks 800 calories 8 000. don’t no we don’t want to talk about calories craving a sweet and buttery treat these rich shortbread cookies are back with a layer of rich milk chocolate to satisfy all your snacking needs okay so shortbread cookies they have a tendency to do this a lot they’ll put a lot of shortbread cookies in these once you get them apart you’re home free yeah i have a stale shortbread cookie a little bit of chocolate on it stale well we’ve established that a lot of things are stale so i’m not trying to hold that against most of our humor yours you mean i give that a three a three huh i like a chocolate interesting put y’all then three two you think four okay very good very very good i gave what did i say i gave it a two i’ll give it a two it was not good oh maybe i said three i re-changed my mind to a two all right so we’ve got a hornet trebuchet hornik trebuski this unique snack featured thin and crispy hand rolled baked wafers smeared and melted buttery and and honey and filled with sweet vanilla cream a lot of stuff going on there honey and a wafer and something but it’s in a log they every single time they do a weight-free thing in these that’s just how these things operate all right break a piece of thing off we got a saw all right you want to crack [Music] and shattered a bit mm-hmm it tastes like plywood that was nasty that didn’t do it it was like a very thin wafer with some sort of creamy stuff in the middle it was okay mom was all right well that’s what you think two two why are you being so difficult you know they these the chechia pipo sent this to you as a as a nice gesture and you’re being very good they didn’t send nothing you paid for it and more money than it was worth well i’m paraphrasing so what did you think three two what do you think a one okay what are we taking off yeah it was it wasn’t the best apparently the palettes for americans and chechnya not the same um we’re getting that kind of vibe here all right we got one more a len tilke allen tilkey you got another one it’s the same thing they sent us two sometimes they’ll send two of the same things so these look like m m’s you all can open that one while we’re open this looks like m m could be could could be let me read it um deliciously smooth chocolate pieces decorated in a brightly colored sugar coating making for a sweet and satisfying treat perfect for sharing or not all right what do you got eminem exactly like an mm so what do you think there’s a different taste to it except the chocolate isn’t sweet chocolate’s not sweet four three three it’s the same similarity as an mm but not nearly as tasty no and the coating is a little harder the chocolate doesn’t taste very sweet yeah a lot of times these chocolates from other countries don’t taste this way so what do you think i’ll give it a three give it a three okay all right well that was uh not a very uh auspicious way of ending that’s it what are you looking it’s just the artwork oh there’s some artwork in the bottom yes all right so what did you think what did you think overall of the snack crate from chachia would you like to go there to try some snacks no i say send it back to them well it’s empty now i don’t think they’ll take it that way so that this was not anywhere half as good as the other one okay right so i guess we’ll check check near off our touring our tour we’re going to take yeah i’m not planning on taking any tours so i thought it was okay i mean but but not my favorite it was definitely not my favorite so uh uh what did the peanut gallery think did it was anybody in the peanut gallery like it or not we had a lot of very negative low numbers i’d have a tendency to be picky anyway but this is particularly picky it was not the best so again for those people in chechnya they’re watching or excuse me we’re watching um i apologize but that’s just you know some of it was stale too that sort of went against it but that was not the it’s not great they just took a long time to get here so but anyway
