In this video, you will join me along an exciting eurovelo 8 bikepacking trip as…

I made it to the coast after three weeks of biking inland and climbing mountains. Arriving in Ventimiglia, I decided to try a legitimate campsite. I spent one night there, and before leaving, I wanted to show you what it looks like.

The campsite had cozy, private walled spaces where I could set up my tent in the shade. There was also a fun room with table tennis, working power sockets, and a very weak Wi-Fi signal. The bathrooms were clean, offered cold water, and had free power sockets.

After leaving the camp, I biked towards the French border. My plan was to bike to the Menton train station and take a train to Monaco because of the hilly, narrow, and busy coastal roads. Literally, after crossing into France, I got excited about the new adventures ahead.

Menton’s rich beach town atmosphere was laid back, and I was amazed by its look. I had to bike along the sea and explore everything before jumping on a train. Menton beach was very crowded when I went to check it out.

Because of the busy, hilly, and narrow road to Monaco, I decided to take the train after all, to save some time. When I arrived at the Monte Carlo train station, the wheel of my folded Brompton came out of its socket, and I had to chase it across the platform.

I was frustrated because I couldn’t fit the wheel back in, and without one wheel, the loaded Brompton was too heavy to move or even stand still. The thought of having to carry all my bags by hand and push my Brompton sounded like a nightmare. Moreover, getting stuck like this in hilly Monte Carlo and it getting late made me nervous about where I would spend the night. But more about that in the next episode.

[Music] in the previous video I finally reached the coast after 3 weeks of Inland biking and mountain climbing because I have been wild camping on top of mountain previous night I decided to stay at legitimate campsite this time in vent mlea and before leaving the camp the next morning I wanted to give you a little tour good afternoon guys so we are about to leave this campsite this is how the place for tents looks like there are nice wallet spaces where you can put your tent there’s a nice shade with the trees so that will be the place for tents there are multiple levels so a lot of space really for big tents for small tents then there was a fun room with stable tennis power sockets and very weak Wi-Fi it also have this room where we can play the table tennis and I think there’s only place where you can find power socket power sockets are also in the bathroom so I will come here charge my batteries because at that place there was no Wi-Fi there was no power and we need to charge up before leaving this Camp next to that uh room you have the grill and now we are going to check the showers the area is divided to the spot where people can run the cabin or set up a tent or just park with your Caravan that most importantly the bathroom were clean with free cold water and functioning power sockets so looks clean doesn’t smell much this is for man so there are power sockets as well and the hair dryer you have to push the pedal to get the water yeah and the hot water is uh not for free you have to pay for it they are Turkish toilets so just so you know just information not all power sockets are working about charging my uh MacBook and all my electronics it will take a while so I think I will get stuck here for at least 2 hours 1 hour and a half we’ll see a few moments later sometimes afternoon I left the camp and B towards the French border so up we go from lat had a really improvised late lunch yeah some Ru with tomato sauce and uh some kind of bread don’t feel like I eat something but better than starving I also bought more Paton which is uh really great pastry and I like it a lot for €1 so I about two the plan was to bike to the Menon train station and take a train to Monaco just avoiding hilly narrow and busy Coastal roads holy crap a tunnel again oh smells really [Music] horribly wow I see Monaco now maybe or it’s m looks amazing but we must go through yet another tunnel the moment I crossed the French border I felt so excited about the new adventures head as if I was turning the page of an Unwritten book woohoo and we are about to cross the French border they are still having a border woohoo and we are cutting the line nice so guys welcome to Menon welcome to friends hell yeah I’m so [Music] excited so this is Menon looks like a traditional touristy town we love to explore city center before going for train so yeah I was amazed by manon’s Rich Beach Town atmosphere and its laidback Vibe it was so captivating that I had to bike along the sea and explore everything before jumping on the train so many y here’s the Manon Beach it’s Sunday compared to the vent miglia it’s pretty crowded too I don’t know just me or crossing the FRS everything is cleaner more polished looks different yeah it’s pretty crowded I might squeeze in for a short dip so we got down to the [Music] rade this is so beautiful [Music] wow hey looks like a festival here or will [Music] be that’s everything like uh place to lay down to sit drinking points of course the beach is a little bit uh not that sanday as in the solo still good nice wooden floor yeah so it don’t burn your feet so this place is definitely for the riches a plate of noi for €23 and if you want it a place at the beach it’s 12 for the whole day and this is another part of the mountain another Beach much longer more Ro as well there’s a public bookstore at the beach very thoughtful in Manon I went to check out the Manon Beach which was very [Music] crowded hey guys so welcome to Menon Beach so let’s drink the water it’s cleen I thought that c so [Music] refreshing so the beach is pretty long but I think most of it belongs to the hotels here after getting barded it was time to move to Monte Carlo because the road to Monaco was busy hilly and narrow I decided to take the train instead to save some time it looks very fancy but it’s now time to move to Monaco and [Music] start check this out guys we are on the train from Manon to Monaco what a nice view when I arrived at Monte Carlo train station and was rolling my folded Bramton its rack wheel came out of its sockets and I had to chase it on the train platform and guys so we are in Monte Carlo moraco it’s not good my brumpton lost a wheel yeah so I have to go to London and do some upgrades but forever reason got out of this socket and I no idea how to put it in I was so frustrated because I couldn’t fit the wheel back in leaving me immobilized with one wheel missing the loaded bromton was too heavy to move or even keep standing still the thought of having to carry all my bags by hand and push my bromton sounded like a nightmare moreover being stuck like this in a super expensive and hilly Monte Carlo as it grew late made me nervous about where to spend the night but more about that in the next episode [Music]
