2025 HALF-DISTANCE TRIATHLON AIX-EN-PROVENCE FRANCE features a challenging course set amidst the scenic landscapes of Provence. The event begins with a 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim at Lake Peyrolles, located 20 km (12.5 miles) from Aix-en-Provence. Athletes are provided free shuttle service for check-in on Saturday and on race day Sunday. The average water temperature is 64°F (18°C).
Following the swim, competitors face a one-loop 90 km (56 mile) bike course that traverses both flat and hilly terrain. The route showcases the picturesque scenery of Provence, including the technical roads of Mountain Sainte-Victoire. Due to safety concerns and potentially strong winds in Aix-en-Provence, disc wheels are prohibited.
The race concludes with a three-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course, taking athletes through the city center and Parc de la Torse. The finish line awaits at the La Rotonde fountain, where thousands of spectators gather. The average air temperature during the event is around 68°F (20°C).
