Dean Stott is a former soldier in the Special Boat Service (SBS), published author, World Record holder, and is currently starring in the Netflix Show – Toughest Forces on Earth.

His military career was ended by a parachuting accident in 2011. He quickly transitioned to the private security sector, where he carved out a reputation for being willing to take on any job, no matter how dangerous. From extortions to kidnapping, civil war, pirates, and military coups, Dean has seen it including single handedly evacuating the Canadian embassy in Libya rescuing 22 people in 2014.

He has since become a record-breaking explorer and adventurer, while establishing a successful career as a motivational speaker. He emphasizes his belief that, with the right mindset and plan, the impossible simply means it hasn’t been done yet.

He published his book, Relentless, in 2019 – a book that recounts his experiences and life as a Special Boat Services soldier and when faced with the impossible, he proves that anything is possible.

He is also a passionate mental health campaigner, and set himself with the task to raise a million pounds for charity on behalf of his bike ride across The Pan American Highway which is over 14k miles. He set 2 world records on that and completed it in only 99 days, 12 hours, and 56 minutes breaking the previous record by 17 days!

He is on the newly released Netflix show Toughest Forces on Earth that  Follows three former special operations soldiers – US Army Ranger, British Special Forces operator, and US Navy Seal – travel the world on a mission to go deep inside the most elite and secretive military units on the planet.

the world record was 117 days I was aiming for 110 it wasn’t because I wanted to smash it by a week now in the military we call it fudge so should something happen that we it’s not eatting into the into our time so I’d looked at all the potential scenarios that could happen on this challenge if we had anything of that it was eatting into that that week not into the challenge so by the end of the first week as I said I was 39 miles behind Target but I was still a week ahead the world record and from then on it was just gains and I had Tailwind all the way through Peru that’s 2,500 km of tailwind and you know I crashed the bike I had food poisoning twice but again physically and mentally I was getting stronger as I was going along on the bike you know you can’t replicate those situations when you’re training you can get yourself to a good Baseline but as I was progressing I was getting fitter and stronger
