Germany Have To Figure it Out FAST

guys I am recording this video because I want to hear about the thoughts that you guys have about this situation and I’m also recording this video because I don’t think Twitter is enough for me to get out what I’m feeling now if you guys don’t know already yes I am American but I am also German so I have grown up supporting watching the German national team whatever it is you know it’s my only real affiliation I’ve ever had because in America we have the MLS it’s not really the same our national team isn’t really all that I wasn’t born and raised you know around a local football club it’s a lot different in America so I’ve grown up watching Germany my entire life um and I watch most of their games throughout the years obviously the recent couple years in Tournaments has been really painful so Germany this tournament has all of a sudden gone from this kind of like meme team that got grouped hasn’t been performing hasn’t doing well to now all of a sudden everyone has probably who’s watched this tournament has them in their top three today their St stock might have dropped a little bit although they still dominated again as I always say when Portugal played CCH Republic it’s really tough to break down park the bus Switzerland were defending perfectly today the endup result of a draw 1-1 whatever you think with the referee you know they get that offside goal referees calling a lot of these pens that are close but not really full pens German fans getting frustrated one1 was a fair resolve for today but just from somebody that’s been watching Germany over the years there is a situation that I’m seeing in front of my eyes that frustrates me deeply now the number one criticism I have when I when I talk about how I don’t like Kai hbert in this team is that I support Spurs and yes in the Prem I’m not a DI hard Spurs fan I grew up with a uh best friend of mine that was English and he liked Spurs so I kind of watched a lot more that Spurs team than the recent team so there’s no bias here with any Arsenal I don’t want you guys to think that just from watching the game it’s so frustrating game after game that I I feel like the only time you know kai HS gets these goals at times right and they’re they’re like rebound luck goals they’re not insane goals and these other times he’s just not producing and I watched this German team today and we can go through the stats I haven’t read through it I’m really frustrated because I’m sitting there watching the game and I and I and and always as a fan you have to back the manager and nelman for me has done a lot I actually wish that he stayed at Byron because nelman this is the one thing that people don’t understand nelman he wasn’t necessarily doing the best in the league he had the team cooking PSG and this was with Messi Neymar Bop all these guys they were cooking PSG they played incredible in that twole and then he got fired and you know he had them doing really well in the UCL I like him as a manager I think he knows what he’s doing it’s frustrating for me because I think I understand why he wants to play HTS HTS is a lot more of the modern Striker this guy that comes in links the play and to be honest you can make the argument that tiky taka wise htss is a little bit better than their second option ful Krug right with linking the talent of muala and ver who obviously you know they didn’t have out of this world games today but when HTS is in this team I feel like it’s just way too dependent on uh I can’t speak VZ or musala having some moment of magic for Germany to succeed and that frustrates me a lot because Germany have this team this year that to be honest is incredible like literally I feel like the only weak link they have right now is the nine they’re missing that killer Striker and we look at some of the best German teams of all time they have all featured this traditional Striker I I truly believe it is Nation by Nation with what certain nationalities need to be successful right I think it can depend position by position we see Spain teams overtime they Thrive a lot um you know some of the best Spain teams they’ve had players like David via up there um you know a more possession based team Germany right now are an incredibly incredibly incredibly um impressive possession based team they the way they keep the ball with Tony Cruz musal a the creativity those two get it it like pains me because they’re missing the nine I watched the entirety of the first half the whole game today and the amount of balls that middot who was a little off today but kimich as well the service these fullbacks can cross and they’re Crossing to nobody because I’m watching HS trying to link up with viam Musial and I get it but then he goes out wide he’s he’s lost some Pace in in my opinion in his step over the years I don’t believe he’s as fast as he used to be because HS when he was back at Leverkusen was way way way more kind of of this uh more reserved Cam and and at Arsenal he still does that he kind of drops in a lot he is playing there an Arsenal at striker he’s starting there but he’s kind of dropping in he’s had a good season for Arsenal it’s nothing to take away from him I think he’s had 14 or 13 or 12 goals this season in the Prem um it’s just frustrating to watch this Germany team because I I’m sitting there as the viewer and I think nelman is in this tough spot because I think HTS is one of those players that has potential probably trains really well um you know can kind of have this product of being that guy but we watched this game today Germany serves in 10 to 15 perfect balls into the area where that nine should be a lot of the time he’s not there because he’s not the traditional nine so he’s drifting a lot he’s either going out to the wide he’s dropping in a lot sometimes like I’m critical of Kane for doing that too much he’s not giving them that presence and the problem is Germany doesn’t have another guy that goes up and fills that role for example England at times right and they’re playing way too negative this time around England at times this time around what they’re doing is Jude will go forward sometimes when Kane goes too deep right and he offers them that but even so we see this in other teams Germany you can’t cross the ball into musala or vs so yes he can link with those guys and let them be creative but again it’s always feeling like it depends on a a magical moment and then there is two or three times HTS is in the right position today and he’s just not that deadly Target nine that’s not what he is he he he has a misc contct with two or three of the headers that don’t even go close to the goal and then he misses the header on the best chance of the game in the air and it goes off his shoulder and hits the over crossbar do even his head it’s so frustrating to watch not only this where it’s like HTS is just not their guy and they don’t have another guy this guy full Krug is what they need um I I really hope after today I’m making this video because I’m very frustrated because I’m sitting there as the viewer and I’m watching the game and I’m sitting there saying this game needs F Krug it needs F Krug they need him they need that presence you know you got have a guy like Tony Cru able to serve in Corners the way he does these Corners are on the money and to add another aerial threat the aerial threat can’t just be the center backs so there was a moment in this game around minute 60 where we saw F crew who got subbed in against Scotland right as he got subbed in the impact this guy made I thought yeah HTS had the penalty but that’s what he’s had this tournament he hasn’t done anything other than that he did have that one assist full crew comes into this game people forget he scores two goals one of them is offside he goes in and scores two goals right away um you know in a period where it kind of slowed down for them and so like you know when I’m just watching this game today it’s so damn frustrating man because I know what he can do for this team he really unlocks another level with this team another dimension he’s not the prettiest Striker he plays so simple his positioning is so so effective F KRW has scored as a substitute for the fourth time in a major tournament is now the record scorer for Germany coming from the bench I know you can make the argument that yeah this guy’s a Super Sub he’s been subbed in too late today you know they were dominating the game with possession they couldn’t get a goal because they didn’t have the nine in the team what he offers them as the aerial threat and people even forget get this if you watch the game today I can’t show you guys the clip there was one counter they had where ful Krug flicked the ball onto HS and then HTS just you know he’s so slow that he couldn’t get off the shot and that’s fine but the even that threat alone they don’t have that all game because they don’t play long balls up to HS because he can’t jump he can’t he can’t really hold it as well as full crew can and that’s what this guy brings them that they need because he can link up to play with mual and Fitz but and maybe you know maybe you could argue it’s five whatever percent worse than whatever Habs can offer with that but man he can still do it good enough and the way this guy can bully some center backs the way this guy can offer them an outlet the way he can occupy space even more because I think a lot of these opponent center backs know what HTS is going to do he’s very predictable he’s not the fastest and I’m not saying ful cruk has more Pace I just think ful cruk for this team he is so deserving of the start when I’m sitting at my couch and I’m saying that hey when there’s a point in the 60th minute when nelman doesn’t Sub in full cruk and I’m sitting there saying bro if I’m managing this team put Rudy up top if like and I I’m like what what has HS done in this game or this tournament that when nlman is making his Subs he’s taking off mual and ver and keeping HTS on my only thought is that he’s trying to keep them healthy and he knows that you know what if we get second in this game it is what it is that’s what I kind of got the read on by the subs but it’s time this guy deserves a start because he all the successful German teams in the recent couple of tournaments the one thing they had in common was that they had a Miroslav kosa or a Mario Gomez that’s what it was and those two guys look Clos will be the alltime goat probably for these guys in terms of clutch goals scoring at a tournament but ful crew just gives me that Vibe of what what Germany had what they had that made them so successful you know there was always these running jokes about how closa was just nothing special the guy was always in the right place at the right time that is what you need in a striker I think I think a lot of the modern game the pep all this influence of this style of play has really gotten lost of just the nine being someone who plays super simple is just a poacher and always in the right area there’s so many players you could probably think of that are like that there’s no prettiness to their game they don’t have that necessary crazy flare they offer you an aerial threat their runs are good they understand the game plan and they occupy space that’s also my other issue with this HS man while I’m making this video I don’t feel like he occupies the space that well I think he’s always kind of walking up there he’s not really making those runs he’s not really posting up like should be and then he drifts wide and then it’s like okay Germany cycle who into the middle and and the problem is when you see these games like this I’m I’m going to this is the last point of this rant video right look at this game Switzerland is an incredible team I think they’re insanely underrated they always perform in these tournaments they are the team that knocked out France uh in that crazy Thriller whatever tournament ago that was right Switzerland defended insane today insane they played so well they are so deserving of points in this game but Germany when they are a team like this they are this year right because Germany’s got something special this year they really do and I don’t want to see it go to waste because they don’t have that threat up top what’s the point of these guys outp possessing having players like Tony Cruz having Defenders like they have Rudy and Todd Neuer what’s the point of all this if they can’t score so they need to keep full cruk he’s deserving of a star for The Knockouts I’m telling you man he deserves it they need him he offers the threat and and especially a lot of teams there’s probably only one or two other teams in this tournament that aren’t going to park the bus against Germany we even saw the last time Germany play England they parked the bus like I I think Spain probably won’t park the bus against Germany they will try to outp possess Germany and maybe let’s say another team but that’s that’s only one or two teams in this tournament so for the rest of the tournament Germany are going to have to expect what they saw today Veron mual are going to be very frustrated because they have three guys Li at the whole time and HTS is not the answer because HTS how is HTS going to take anyone on 1 V4 if he drifts wide because that’s what happens when these teams are parking the bus they need to have more of an aerial threat it just man it was crazy to me to even see I tweeted about it today they subbed in they subbed in um they subbed in F crew within literally minutes and the guy scored ah header right away and this was again yeah round played a perfect Ball but they these balls were coming into the box all game they just didn’t look good because there was no there was no target presence in the middle so it’s so frustrating to see this I hope nelman look this guy you have to trust the manager you have to believe in his plan as a fan and and a Critic too you have to believe in these managers unless they’re not Southgate this guy full crew not to mention just so final point he was a huge reason Dortmund just got to the champ Dortmund just got to the Champions League final is a fifth place team dude fifth place or fourth place sixth place whatever they finish this year he was a huge reason he scored some insanely clutch goals he scored in the league against lusin he scored a goal and assist against Atletico Madrid on a second leg um he’s really turned it up in some of these matches man and I I just want to see this guy get his chance that he deserves I think he’s in the form of his life right now um he’s not scared of the moment he’s done it on the Champions League stage the international stage I don’t know man I really want to see this guy play it’s just frustrating to me as a viewer because I’m watching this game and I know what Germany need they need this presence they this is a guy that reminds me exactly of the aura the old German Strikers used to have so I don’t know what you guys think about this man I’m just frustrated like I want to make a Rand
