the problem is with FIFA rankings they based on Elo and if you don’t know what ELO is is basically a system that was designed for rating players against players in chess so the reason why ELO works so well in chess is because the way it’s designed is you can directly rate a play abilities on oh that’s a very good B forward and Slovenia was almost in here and yes it’s one player and that’s why it works so well you are just comparing a player to different players but football isn’t is a team sport so when you have ELO ratings in football it doesn’t work because one player will improve the other player will degrade the other there is a new player coming in the the manager doesn’t do well it’s like it’s an entire organization in football so while ELO works really well for comparing player to player and an individual sport like chess where you of course play individually um ELO doesn’t really work in sports like football in team sports and now uh Ser has B again that didn’t last long that would give them like 88 or 89 based on Prime Messi being 94 the problem with FIFA ratings is the rating system just doesn’t quite make sense to me I don’t what is 94 rating supposed to mean how good is 94 rating like what is the max rating on FIFA by the way is it 100 is it 99 like how how does the FIFA r work I just don’t get it it doesn’t make sense and G has ball here and that was a really age or a does that just mean nothing is that just EA saying this is our prediction on player but the problem is people will look at young players and they always have ridiculous potential take Andreas
