Today I am off to the first ever Monopoly Event Comic Con Midlands by Monopoly Events.
It was held at the Telford International Centre and attended on the Saturday this time comapred to my normal Sunday visits!
Its a great venue, open and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to get around.
I firstly had my photo with Sophia Di Martino who played Sylvie in the Marvel TV series Loki. She was so lovely and loved my Loki Disney bound cosplay outfit!
Next up I had a selfie with The Mountain himself, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson ot Thor Björnsson for short! He was Gregor Clegane in Game of Thrones, he is 6 ft 9 and I am only 5 ft 1! He was also lovely too, very glad I met him! They had so many great prop sets too.
Had a look around some of the stalls, there was clothing, jewellery, cosplay weapons, and Loungefly mini backpacks! I saw LF Lovers who I have worked with a few times and they very kindly gifted me their exclusive Rapunzel Tangled Loungefly which will get her own video!
I went with friends and also met Ella Purnell from Fallout and Steve Whitmire who voiced Kermit the Frog as they got autographs.
It felt so well organised and the schedules ran like clockwork! So many amazing cosplays, Star Wars, Dr Who, Anime, Fallout & more!
Cant wait till the next Comic Con!

[Music] hi everyone Hannah here welcome back to the channel for anyone that’s new welcome my name is Hannah today is Saturday June the 15th it’s a little bit early in the morning but that’s okay because it’s ComiCon day it’s the first ever Midlands ComicCon by Monopoly events it’s at the tord International Center I’m very excited I’ve got my Loki outfit on cuz I’m going to meet Sophia who played Sylvia and Loki series I do have my targaryan t-shirt with me I’m very tempted to see if Thor who played the mountain is going to be doing selfies because I’m 51 and he’s I’m sure he’s at least 6′ 6 so I might see if he’s doing self just cuz the height difference would be hilarious and I Love Game of Thrones I don’t really know what to expect cuz it’s the first time Monopoly events have done a ComicCon at the tord International Center so I’m very much excited I know the LF lovers who I’ve worked with before are going to be there and they have loungefly so I’m definitely going to go and say hi to them really quickly because it’s raining so I’m broed up and I’m going to get back to you when we’re inside in the dry we’re going in oh I should really focus on the stair sh that’s okay I’m want to focus on the stairs and then get inside give me a sec well this is a different sort of bag check today I like it we have an R2 he’s like a Sith bird version of R2 it’s acceptable for today I’m loving seeing all the cosplay so far I’m trying to it’s a bit bent so I’ll need to flatten it look at this she loved my outfit I’m going to go and have a look at some of the Stalls now I’ve seen LF lovers I just need to find them again actually right quickly this is where the photos are Star Wars kid and through here are the Stalls and guests for signatures I’m going to see if I can get a selfie with Thor because he’s incredibly tall oh know you can’t see him right now and I am not I feel so short right now okay I’m going to find LF lovers here are some of the guests you can do you can pay on the day I we have met who have I met I’ve met th you can do people’s way I need to watch where I’m walking watch where you’re walking Hanah I’ve met Thor I will pop a picture in he was tremendously tall but here we have LF lovers be live LF lovers look at the L there hoodies as well and t-shirts but look at all of these beautiful Lounge fly there are so many I have worked with a l quite a few times they are wonderful I’ve already had a hug of carry look at that aial hood I actually have that aerial hoodie and it’s so comfortable that the Lou hoodies are meant to be oversized as well so if you like them to be a bit smaller size down these ones are their exclusives they are beautiful oh this one’s lenticular look at MIM it’s the dragon dragon MIM and then we’ve got Maleficent as a dragon these can you tell I love loung F you can get Lou fly for pets so it’s not just for people it is for pets I will link Al left lovers down below but look at all the amazing bag look at this Loki bag which I have I have too much stuff but look I have this one today you see it just there there we go carrying too much stuff we have Harry Potter merch there is a Sonic bag my hero Academia car’s trying to get out the shot but we’ll get her in the shot she’s like no don’t get me in it oh look at that Lord of the Rings one with the One Ring yeah make sure to go check out out check check out L lovers lowy purse love that there are lots of stalls in this Hall we’ll have a quick walk around not going to show absolutely everything but put and Bobs more stalls in there oh l l isn’t that one oh THS up top there he is the m tip he is incredibly tall made all the more taller by the fact I am so short we got prop sets You’ got to love a good prop set look at boy Woody a little r oh there’s a d and a Jer quite the crossover I like it we have Booz door and Monsters Ink oh there’s a daret behind me and The Simpsons there is a dalc good morning good morning how are you I’m good how are you good I’m F than you go out there good oh de oh look we have Platform 9 and 3/4s as well I never know what to say to doxs is that supposed to be Hedwig we’re going to go with yes it’s supposed to be Hedwig but it’s fac she’s facing away comic books Gore is that that from Ghostbusters isn’t it the big is it the plowman oh I don’t know jod Whitaker is over in this corner where the Maho of Q is she is Saturday only though I believe and there are so many Funko Pops so many funkos all the ones you can think of you see you could even get a Funko and then get it signed there are so many stores with so many amazing things I don’t want to get in people’s way though so if I am in the way I’m not going to film anything the photos are just through there yeah like I said I’m not going to get in the way trading cards there’s all sorts of stuff something for everybody well that is Comic on isn’t it there is something for everybody that’s kind mermaid cave we love a good mermaid oh look they’re beautiful oh I see a lowy necklace see that would match my outfit today all panels there are panels in there as well with some of the guests I don’t know if all the guests have panels I would imagine so most likely holy moly how did you get that poster home I suppose you could roll it you probably have to roll it smaller ones bigger ones all sorts of ones pink and adorable that’s why I was drawn to it they so sweet look at these for your Hogwarts house let me know what’s your Hogwarts house mine is Slithering arguably the best although my green outfit match is slythering today doesn’t it love that for me we also have the Weasley car and some minions oh there’s bike and The Flintstones what do you call that The Flintstones car we’ll call it the Flintstones car there is a hobbit set well Hobbit door I love these props oh we we’re cheering for someone we cheer for someone they’re doing the the cosplay competition I’m not stood in the right place I know I’m not oh trying to keep the camera still oh my goodness oh I love it although I don’t know why they’re playing The Simpsons music for that right now it’s background noise isn’t it we’ll do background noise than you and we have cat and Al H Hotel thank you C we have lovely CO as the 10 Planet s working it work it I’m not we thank I’ll have the BL give it so without further Ado our grand prize winner today is Anna Cena Warrior Princess now obviously I look biased an I made this costume 10 years ago look at the state of it it does not look like it’s been more forain but this thing has been worn again again this metal has been handmade there are 148 hand cut pedals on this skirt alone this is a ridiculous amount of detail that this is just perfect the museum replica so Anna has done an incredible job so this is your cosplay Champion today take your bell you can do framings but also it looks like there’s a game section so if you’re fancy having a game treat yourself cosplay has just finished they are doing another panel soon everyone scatters goes to buy all the things when you get hungry you need snacks plenty of seating plenty of snacks for a break oh look at all these pictures oh there’s Pokémon cards with it as well thank you so much also the curls have gone out of my hair which is not fun straight hair but there we go oh that little terrar ter what is it terrarium terrarium is that the same sort of thing with Pokemon in right now it’s about 3:00 so it’s starting to get a bit quieter and honestly I’m trying to remember what I have and haven’t filmed uh no I have filmed the props I know I filmed the props there’s Woody and Buzz there though oh Rex is back up there now look at all the pops more Pops there are so many oh there’s a big shark there I got to say this venue is really nice one thing I will say bring cash the Wi-Fi here and signal is very spotty it’s so if you can bring cash when you’re in tford but that’s just a generic tford thing I am from tford and signal is not the best showing it some BS now oh lightsabers live favors keychains golden oh there’s a Death Note oh who’s name would you put in there maybe don’t answer that that’s a bit risky isn’t it my best in the US would absolutely love these oh my good it’s a dragon candle see I wouldn’t want to burn it though I’d want to just keep it there forever Deadpool’s here just casually as you do oh thank you I got a kiss off Deadpool mystery bags as well there’s always Myst bags at comicons theme two well theme two different themes haha oh see you can buy posters here as well if there’s something that you like you can go get them signed or you can just buy posters you don’t have to get them signed some more of the guests Lucy Lawless is down there who is Zena Mortal Combat guest jod has had pretty much a full queue the entire day uh sets no we have seen those sets haven’t we and we’ve seen the comics is it the Pillsbury down man I’m pretty sure it is someone let me know I don’t want to get that wrong what is this set from o um oh is that old niil and horses I’m just looking at the picture just there that is very very interesting Decor there’s a garlic again these are Mickey M attraction plushies and then look there’s lnge fly up top God I love the LF backpacks the shoulder pops so if you don’t want a Funko you can have a shoulder pop in I like this Mickey set there’s lots of different Mickeys but then there’s also these huge ones that have the poster in the Box as well so it’s not just a pop but you got posters too I would another couple this is a lovely venue here and I like how the guests can walk up this part in the middle when they need to get to their photos if you have a sweet t oh there’s also like the Flaming Hot Cheetos I just knocked the camera they have luy charms as well as you can tell I’m back home I’m going to quickly show the photo that I had with Sophia she was lovely she said that she loved my outfit as well and then when I had a hug she kind of got spiked a little bit by the crown but she did tell me that she Lov my outfit and she wasn’t mad at me she said it was her fault cuz she went too close to the spikes I need to be careful with them don’t I but it works for the Loki outfit right LF lovers I’ve worked with them before on a few things so I was always going to go and see them I know I show them off and I will link them down below I love krie so much she saw me eyon up a bag and they very kindly gifted it to me and I nearly very nearly teared off I didn’t want to ruin the face cuz it was still a little bit early in the day otherwise I might have had a tear off look at this if you’ve seen my videos before I love Rapunzel I love loungefly Rapunzel loungefly love it even more I am going to do a video on this bag by itself so just really quick la la la la la la showing the bag she’s going to have her proper Spotlight also Comic Con is for making friends Adam and Matt what an afternoon I have been given what is this basilisk blood let me know your hogwart’s house I’m a Slytherin so lowkey and Slytherin outfit works perfectly there go together basilisk basilisk blood mixed fruits sugar-free potion it’s drinkable I’m hoping this is going to come up but she’s shimmery she shimmers like an actual potion are we going to focus or are we just not going to play ball can you see that Shimmer look at this it is basilisk blood are we a parel tongue does it say what flavor a mixed fruit flavored soft drink with sweeters I think mat said it tastes like vimto I’m probably going to have this later because treat yourself also quick note today what day is it today it is Saturday the 15th of June look at these big sleeves oh they also stamp you when you go out and then CU we went to have some lunch and then go back in so I’m going to have to get that off I just don’t like those stamps but you go out you get back in there’s always the bag checkt at security so I’ll be mindful of that I have to say it felt great today now this is in no way a criticism whatsoever the Liverpool One just because of how big it is sometimes the schedule can overrun so if there are that many people to have pictures or signatures schedule can overrun it just happens sometimes the guests might wander off a little bit as well can’t always control that but everything just ran so smoothly it didn’t feel too crowded even though it was a Saturday there was obviously there was a lot of people there but it wasn’t too much I mean obviously different people have different versions of that but it felt like a nice spacious air I mean I’ve been to that one before felt like a lovely spacious area loved having the photo very prompt so it was all in all a very very good day I am now going to get my face off though because I love doing the makeup to matchy match but every now and again it irritates my eyes a tiny bit and I haven’t had my antihistamine today so that’s probably just my fault so I’m going to go have one of those and wash my face also thinking about it thought he’s I mean I know he’s tall he’s actually the shortest out of his brothers though which considering how tall he is is just crazy so I’m going to scoot and pop the picture up just here I met the mountain and he was lovely I asked him which his favorite Game of Thrones scene scene to film was and he said it was either the ending where it’s the hound and the mountain and they’re fighting and they obviously fall don’t want to say that word or when he’s with um with when he over and Martell with the eyes and the pop quite the thing to film but it was amazing to meet everybody next ComicCon I should be going to is the Wales one in August I don’t know about Manchester we’ll see definitely Wales in August I’ll be meeting Sean ason s gami and getting mom’s Lord of the Rings l so I signed again more signatures to that one and I’m hoping the week after that I’m pretty sure I’m going to be doing it I just don’t know when or I say when the For the Love of fantasy ComiCon down in London because Peter fanelli is there from Twilight I might might maybe have had a crush on him since I saw Twilight I I can’t decide if I want to do the weekend though or just go down on the Sunday I don’t know to be confirmed but for sure I’m definitely going to the Wales one let me know in the comments down below if you went to either today Saturday or tomorrow Sunday when you’re
