unique design of the first fully electric AI model gets its shape as a wide variety of single metal parts are combined with modern materials such as aluminum and ultra high strength steel the production process in the body shop is very complex and highly sophisticated it involves the use of a multitude of joining Technologies such as welding soldering clinching or gluing in which continuous robotic inline geometry checks are performed in addition to constant manual quality checks the finished body of an Audi Tron counts more than 3.2 welding points 30 m of weld seams and 72 M
