Is this a good deal? Looking for a new kit with cargo bibs. Never had Rapha before. My other option is maybe Craft Pro Gravel bibs which also have the cargo pockets. Crashed and destroyed my kit (and also myself…)

If you’re looking for cargo options, MAAP also has their Alt-Road series (I generally prefer MAAP over Rapha based on previous products).

I don’t have the Core Cargo, but I bought the regular Core bibshort. The elastic didn’t last that long before it began to fray and become speckled around the sides. They credited me back for the bib when I contacted customer service, which Rapha is known for.
The Core Lightweight jerseys are fine– I have two. They’re a bit stiff, not nearly as stretchy as a modern race jersey, and has shorter sleeves. I wear mine tight (size Small for a 5’7″ man, 155 lbs, broad shoulders and fairly muscular upper body). Medium would be too baggy, with saggy pockets.
They run / tear fairly easily if you pin a race number on. Ask me how I know.
My favorite Rapha bibshort is the Pro Team Training, which has a better chamois than Core and an actual elastic band stitched to the bottom of the legs ,which seems to hold up better than the wide silicone bands, in that it doesn’t get wavy and stretched out. It’s more likely to squeeze in a bit where the elastic grips your thigh– it’s not super sleek like modern silicone short legs and sleeves, but it’s also more durable. The more expensive Pro Team bibs seem less durable.

From my own experience, Core is trash if you are going to ride them a lot. Poorly sewn and weak seams.

This is as cheap as it gets for cargo bibs. I think they’re great. They usually have the combo deal with bib and jersey together discount, I think you have that there?
Anyways I say go for it. I got two sets, had them for about two years now, probably put average 30-50mi on each per week.
