website right now uh we’ve got a different organized like a uh region system this time because people were it was it’s so difficult to organize like thousands of people so we’ve just gone 10 regions in the UK uh 1 to 10 so if you go on to the website you will see that there’s 10 regions there there and the cinema location will be somewhere within that region so if you pick Region 4 which is from memory like Cambridge sort of area pizza or something like that it will be around there we haven’t fully signed it off with the cinemar yet so there’s a lot of logistics to go but that’s not going to be until February 2025 so we’re off leaving on the trip around October time something like that time to edit build it all sort it all out make it fantastic and make an amazing evening for you guys so if you want to get in there early make sure you get your ticket particularly if you’re in the Birmingham area because that one sells out immediately Birmingham Birmingham and B Bristol area if you’re uh if you if you want tickets cuz there’s so many people the BBB area yeah yeah uh if yeah you guys were moaning last year that you couldn’t get tickets and yet you had plenty of time so we’re this is the chance if you want tickets get them now cuz they will be gone yes and it obviously helps us fund the project the bike budget it needs a lot of funding this one it’s it’s quite extreme so um um yeah all help is very much um appreciated and loved so but yeah it’s going to be an amazing one and this is the 10 year this is our 10th year we’ve been doing this can you believe it feels like it so Bonanza what have we got in the uh the Press Taps today to be released as slurry onto the market K uh well talking of slurry onto the market uh we’ve got some uh press statistics from the mcia uh for sales from uh last year to this year so we did we thought as we promised last uh the last time we spoke was it February or January I remember long time ago it was a long time ago uh the best data to use would be March to March so we got march to March uh have you you know that sounds like a crisp march to March like a monster March Mar march to March monster Mar to Mar much to muchh uh guess what the percentage is plus or minus in motorcycling compared to last year motorcycle sales uh I’d say it’s probably about the same or 1% less it fell 3.6% which is I mean I don’t think is that bad considering all the Doom and Gloom I mean it’s really bizarre because there’s lots of areas of the industry you think wow that’s booming they’re selling tires you know Dr bikes are selling pars uh you know all our sort of customers we’re selling cinema tickets yeah uh you know lots of places boobing and yet there there’s some areas you know the lots of dealers closing lots of lots of other smaller business closing it’s it’s it’s a it’s not good um but it’s really bizarre how just the the yeah just different ends of the spectrum are working just but there’s a lot going on there isn’t there there’s a lot there’s a lot going on we’re we’re I think the hangover of I didn’t say that word beginning with c and ending in numerics 1 and N but the The Hangover of that whole thing is it’s in the air and everyone’s sort of gone oh get with it now no there’s no loans buzzing around for everyone to go and buy brand new bikes with and I think everyone’s PCP deals are coming up from that time so there’s that to deal with there’s the election to deal with which I mean God if you want a more depressing thing to look at it’s the drips that come out and beg and and dangle the most pathetic of carrots in front of you to try and you to vote for them and and it’s all things that all the elector like this well why don’t you do it when you’re in the power then why why you bring it out now like Honda Fireblade it’s a trick question Christopher it is the BMW R yes yeah uh 750 you said up to a thousand over a thousand I okay I was focusing on the thousand there that’s what you did you’re like a magician yeah 5 750 CCC was the Yamaha mto7 uh the Triumph Tiger was best or most sold 750 to th000 C and electric bike sales are on their ass what a surprise Kel supri yeah I mean uh I think it fell something like 40% compared to last year which um you know as you were saying you can’t even give away cars electric cars at the moment can you no well I mean I think people most people with who have done any sort of research knew that was going to happen yeah I kind of feel a little bit sorry for the the old ladies that have gone all my car’s rubbish and they broken and they go into the dealership and they get thrust into an electric car because it’s the future and amazing I think that’s really unfair because they they’re just not they’re just not in that mode to like sort it out um dogging layb so we’ve got a um we got a hotspot countdown here uh 1 to 10 new data from vgo reveals the top 10 regions for speeding in the UK as fines are costing motorists over 10 million per year 10 million 10 mil great tax isn’t it brilant great tax and you can’t know we can argue with it can oh you’re speeding you devil you NAU tell okay anyway so top 10 where’d you reckon I know I’ve already seen it I’m not going to pretend cuz I’m top number one a Somerset we are number one particularly a red VW transporter well which did you know is that is that cuz that if you’re in a commercial vehicle you can only do 60 on you 50 You Got Fingered for that didn’t you yeah I’ve got finger for that yeah yeah but the best of it right so at Cadwell par this year I was doing the decent thing set up drove the van down to or up to booies uh dad’s place up an all and uh on the way there I got caught speeding right so 32 mph on a gun or a a gun 32 mph in a 30 so he pulled you no no no no no I got a letter through right so I got the letter through I thought 32 and a 30 I’m not having this I’m not that I’m I’m not I’m not having this so I tried I thought I thought it was 10% plus one no not anymore so it would be 34 it no so anyway had this letter through1 fine three points I like no I’m not doing that so so my plan of and it sometimes it works but now I can tell you now it doesn’t anymore I used to delay and delay and DeLay So if you waited 6 months past the uh initial um offense offense you disgusting dis 32 you you absolute [ __ ] I did I did this trick and it landed me in court well with a potential Court um uh summons so I in in all my fine went from1 to 650 quid but that’s cuz they knew you were trying to think they were TR you were trying to [ __ ] them yeah but if you just they try to [ __ ] me so I’m going to [ __ ] them but short if you just complained in the first place and just I did I tried that and they said I tried that you know I did I missed that point is work out who they work for and do that you’d have thought you could find their phone number wouldn’t you go by the way you got called can we just do it that’s the way it works now anyway so EV Somerset first with what was it uh 164,384 speeding fines issued and that’s quite a bit more than second place isn’t it that is yes second place is West Mercia which sounds like somewhere in southern Spain it does yeah to me yeah uh full of Roger Mo houses but that is 114,000 uh speeding fines and then warshire is is in third with 91,000 third see even on Somerset are bloody greedy buggers aren’t they that’s that’s almost double so third place warshire almost half of Avon and Somerset I mean maybe people in Avon and Somerset are just anti-establishment bad behaviorists I’m surprised sori and from BMW to be fair okay and we’re going to end on the BMW as well uh BMW have announced a clutchless motorcycle now these clutchless clutchless bikes have been around for quite a while but this is I as I understand it much more of a seamless gearbox car system like a Honda yeah I guess so yeah I mean it terrifies me the thought of not having a clutch over there really oh it’s brilliant why though cuz you can have a bat break and you can do like BMX stuff on it okay but what when you but terrifies is the wrong word what when the thing when how many times you particularly do you leave your bike in like Fifth and park it like you you you’re not going to be able to like just whe it around like there’s going to be this really annoying it is a pain in the [ __ ] it’s going to be really annoying you can’t just push it around you oh hang on and I guarantee you there’ll be all starting process where you have to put your foot on The Brak and then you have to do that it’s going to be a it’s going to be aava for no reason like how you don’t need the clutch unless you pull away anyway how like I understand maybe in town so I don’t know I think you’re right wet if you have one of those I mean it’s been sample Hond have been doing it for years and I’ve I’ve I’ve sampled it and it’s really good but I’m at this stage in my life I’m not ready to give up a clutch I like I like the manual use of a clutch that helps you like you said parking pulling away just just I think people underestimate the clutch for president because people underestimate just how much good a clutch can be and obviously the all the antillies with it like the the gearbox and everything else I think it’s a really useful it’s a really useful tool to have and I think it’s understated um but it’s more of a gizmo I definitely think it’s more but then again there’s older BLS who like that kind of thing and want an easier life and go oh I’m going to get an automatic and they and they love it I can on like a a bandit 650 do they still make those no like but something like that where you going to drive around London all day as a courier fantastic I could understand that but once you pulled away on a GS not many people ride gs’s around town do they m H I know you’d be surprised well yeah I suppose I did now talking of gs’s so I spent U if youve seen the video the adventure video we did with Bridgestone in Portugal I spent a fair bit of time on the uh 1300 GS um just really wasn’t that taken by it it was it’s a it’s a really it’s a bike that I want to jump on and go oh wow this is amazing I Heard lots of good things about it but in fact I was just like it’s big heavy cumbersome and a bit what had you just got off though uh the multi stroder right V4 so but you know there’s there’s no better way to test a bike than back to back it with and constantly back to back it jumping off it for you know on and off it for 3 hours so not literally jumping off 3 hours but we rode 3 hours and rode those two bikes back to back and yeah I agree it’s I agree it’s different from the 1250 considerably different but it’s just moved in a slightly sportier Direction I would say but I would it’s definitely ligh than the old bike and it’s definitely more Nimble but it’s it’s much harsher and stiffer and sort of it’s more massive Super Moto and by all accounts what what The Whispers around the campfire is is that the adventure version the 1300 Adventure is going to be a very different offering and I think that’s great because you’ve got like an executive type speed sportish motorcycle for the road and then an adventure one to munch some miles on cuz even now if you said you take a brand new normal 1,300 gs on a longdistance tour or the old 12 1250 I’d take the old 1250 100% CU it’s just it’s just more relaxing to do that type of thing with um and we understand that perhaps the new 1300 Adventure will be announced at the garish BMW Love Fest in the Alpine Resort of are you going Gish I no cuz I’m at Yamaha y I really want to go next year we should go next year when don’t you go I can’t go I can’t go this year yeah well I I would we’re invited every year but then the last years they did it in Berlin it’s like [ __ ] that why would you want to go to a city to ride bikes cuz get pissed up you and your alcoholism but anyway so I’m very much looking forward to the new 1300 Adventure I I haven’t seen any pictures or anything yet but apparently it’s quite a step away whatever that means even the people in BMW are like yeah it’s um it’s interesting yeah I don’t know what
