As part of a more agile army, soldiers will cycle battery-powered mountain bikes in order to have a silent approach when fighting the enemy.
They can reach speeds of up to 40 mph and are able to be recharged on the battlefield.
When the adversary is encountered, cyclists dismount and operate shoulder-fired rocket launchers like the Carl Gustav.

Food delivery jobs are in demand
And what about the e-bike? only 8 seconds in a 58 seconds video?
Woke bike😂. No im just kidding. Actually its a good idea.
Just be for seniors to rest legs.
Your boots cost what, 120 euros? Isn't it more feasable to just run everywhere?

This is a pretty solid idea: no noise, minimal thermal signature, easy to maintain, very capable off road, and the existing industry is already huge and very refined.
lol and they said Russia was running out of equipment
Joke of a military😂
It is powered by electricity?! Torygraphs traditional reader base of imbeciles and racists aren't going to like that 😂
Battlefield 4 lets gooo
Curious as to how this would limit the impact of anti personnel mines. Would probably still cause a lot of harm but as the wheel would touch it first the legs might remain intact enough to be operated in the case of collision.
War business
Protection environment while killing people, good thinking, isn't it?
😂
Same fine get rid of personal and nothing think what the military actually needs , waste of money on electricity bike
All the know-it-all scoffers who don’t even realise that that the motor power and speed of the ebikes they see are limited in law in most countries. Very limited. And even so, a standard consumer touring ebike with your camping gear, food & clothes will go 50 miles on a charge. They can and do go 80mph. They can and do go 100 miles on a charge. They have no problem carrying spare batteries or two people.
Quiet, fast, only limiting factor here is the battery tech. Improve the batteries so they can run at full tilt for 48 hours and charge extremely quickly and efficiently with a small portable solar panel, THEN i'll be truly impressed
A real successor to Cavalry
Let's hope they come from a British company.
That’s great but the U.S. military remains the best military in history.
Imagine seeing a parade of bicycle infrantry for the first time in decades
Electric quad bikes, wouldn't that make much more sense?
Give all the armoured vehicles and tanks to ukraine, we have push bikes lol
Bet Z bots gen read englisch 2
How do they charge them when there in the field? Ots not like refilling them with petrol or diesel
I get it that its an extra thing they could use, but maybe if they didn't waste so much money on their afv programme, maybe stuff like this wouldn't make news. It took them 25 years to sort out the standard issue rifle. In the pursuit of having a British made rifle, they turned their noses up at everything else and issued the L85A1 which was pretty average but was full of problems. It wasn't until they outsourced the rebuilding of the rifle by H&K. The E-bikes are just a distraction. And let us not forget that once again, they're gonna downsize the whole of the British military. Shedding 20,000 regular soldiers isn't gonna be fixed by issuing them all with E-bikes. What next? Will they ditch the fitness tests because the E-bikes have made all the soldiers lazy and fat?
Gives a new meaning to the cry 'Charge' 🤣
Raleigh burner. Special forces edition
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zog Bots
Is there some kind of army protocol what kind of vegetation can/should be used as camouflage ? I see some guys with tree branches while others just batches of grass.
Dark men in the British army ehh
