good morning it is our first day in Port today the lift has just arrived we’re going to go for breakfast and we’ll catch up with you in a bit it is Tuesday I did that last time we on the left and this is the very impressive enormous wall that you can see when you’re in the lift that goes all the way from the top to all the way to the bottom let’s go to the wind J yay see how happy everyone is wasy [Music] wasy breakfast I’m fancying the avocado this morning this is how busy it is this morning do look how bad over there nice breakfast this morning is some lovely eggs benedict the avocado toast and some gorgeous fruit we are [Music] see this is Patricia and she is possibly the happiest person on the ship and the most energetic off they get First Steps in France good morning France as I say no who the Williams is did you lose your husband Trace yeah he’s gone I’m not bothered there you go there’s Limestone apparently right there it morning we good thank you be this is the gentleman that organized the champagne and strawberries for c for his birthday I’m not even sure if I’ve told you that story so the night we were walking around with masks on our faces and behind our heads we got stopped by the FMB director who then sent champagne and strawberries to Craig’s cabin for his 50th birthday how amazing is that welcome we on the is this me we’re now heading from uh the port in larell and we head to the main town thank you guys this is our driver their name is Pedro it’s a bridge bridge it’s a bridge yeah yeah yeah oh my God this is an Old Bridge [Music] w [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] good Tak that back off now hi hi guys good morning hi it’s thank you Mr Big taking over best we’ve just found a cathedral so I think we’re going to have a little look inside so basically we’ve arrived in lell this morning and the bus here has dropped us off it was a short drive in maybe about 25 minutes but because of the traffic took a little bit longer so I’m going to chain you off and head into the cathedral now wow wow oh my God look at this [Music] TR French wine shop right by the market is just here lots of beautiful okay delicious fruits [Music] so now we’re just going to head down to sit somewhere and have a little C so we can have a toilet we use their toilet yes and they told us where the toilets were looks amazing where where could we use the toilets please uh you’ve got some on the market yeah we’re going to rip it open is all we need to do oh my gosh it’s like flicky oh wow oh it’s wao it’s all inside there okay who’s trying some there’s not much filling in this one though I don’t want to bite it cuz I want to share it I want everyone to share it so I don’t want to this is like really bad place to what your head going by a Lori sweet the the fill in it’s really sweet St in this is yours with the with the strawberry on it it’s like flicky it’s like quason pastry isn’t it and then the ganache inside oh my gosh we’re making a right mess upside shop mus hello hi hi oh of course we found a dog Moosh Moosh this is Moosh Moosh Moosh so we sat in a lovely Cafe in a very sunny at the moment lell we found a lovely dog who belongs to somebody that’s in the in the restaurant we have traed around everywhere because we’ve needed a toilet we were told that there was one in the market we needed coins nobody had any coins so we ended up coming here just buying beers and it is 9:30 in the morning cheers everyone to your 930 beers well I think somebody wants to come home with us there we are Cheers boys Cheers Cheers so a toilet free yeah so Jeff just told me there’s a banana tree in somebody’s Garden there look at these lovely streets and there’s a grape vine right there across the house so have I already said today we’re in larell it’s very quiet at the moment we’ve start that again shall I we’ve made our way away from the Town Center because everyone needed the toilet so we ended up having to buy drinks for all of us to sit in and use their toilet they were very accommodating and they were lovely but I think all of us feel like because we’ve been up and about so early it doesn’t feel like it’s um it’s still early morning which it is so we’re going to head back to the town center and I think just have a little look at what’s around L CH to enjoy the rest of our day [Music] we’ve just stumbled Upon A Car boot sale and then a big ferris wheel right next to us but this is lovely so we’re can have a little look around oh beautiful like design on these RS look at that good detail I maybe they’re not secondhand or maybe they are but there’s lots of lovely look at all here s of vintage and secondhand things look at these paintings and there’s some portals and Mariner stuff up there it’s a lovely place so there we are we’re going to have a little mooch around here before we decide our next steps I guess stum bar bar Sten Christmas album but I remember my grandparents have when I was a Youngster and she sang A rendition of Jingle Bells which I just gave everyone but I’m not going to do it for you to give it to and also a Shirley bass album how much is it m uh €13 wow I’m sure you can get it down to6 how lovely is that so we are now walking making our way to the other side of the marina because we’ve decided we’re going to go on a little boat trip just so that we’ve done something while we’ve been in L show we’re going to go to Fort Bard but you don’t get off the boat at all so we thought I don’t know we we’re already on a ship so we didn’t want to do that I’m not sure where we’re going we’re going on a little boat ride I think just to kind of it’s kind of like a Hop On Hop Off for um for for the the sea maybe I don’t know years oh down to the marina so we go in here and then we go on a boat ride to the marina to see the biggest Marina in Europe I think I think so there might be some lovely ships in there to see or boats or Yachts or I don’t know minut yeah in there I don’t know but I’m looking at it right I got to go we go in a castle see you later bye who’s there Auntie Marie Marie roing on so there’s little castle head we watched some videos before we came and I think it was the cruise monkeys we saw that came here so we’re going to have a little look whether we’ve got to pay I think it’s a minimal fee maybe € or something to get in so might even have a look around here before we get on the boat it looks lovely obviously I will let you know if there are any charges what the charges were and if it was worth visiting but I do live a bit of History we’ve already been to a cathedral and that was gorgeous but this is lovely go there oh look at that little building [Music] there so we opted to not go at the castle because it was going to be €950 each and there’s a lot of us they do do discount for groups but I think it was still quite pricey so we’re going to head all the way around there to get on the little boats that are over there to take us to the biggest Marina in Europe This is where we get in the water taxi to the marina it’s going to be the one in the back like a Catan type one is it and we think it’s going to be €350 each or I’ll update you another one I know good night she’s CED up to her phone now she’s got internet again and data do you want to power [Music] so we’ve arrived at the biggest Marina in Europe and the first thing we spot is the Domino’s let’s going have a snacks and coffee though doino it seems quite industrial there’s not a lot around here but we’ve been for a little Wonder had a little look around lelle there a and oh I see some’s a souvenirs in a bar which is probably where we end but for now we’re going to have a little look over here cuz there’s some shops and then probably make our way over there so I can buy some keychains and magnets and French things so we’re about to get the ferry back and this called trip and my friend got there first and we’re all lagging behind and then old school just arrived in of him so we can’t get on there iess oh dear tell them we’re the school teachers come on let’s join them so I think we’ll probably be staying for a little bit longer going on the next one it’s official we’re cycling back instead but I don’t think there’s enough bikes for everyone first oh that’s it The Bigs is assorted we haven’t got any 1 for 30 minutes so there’s not enough I didn’t get a bike yet I see scooters and apparently there’s more bikes down here so we’re going to have a little look and see if we can find some more it’s only €150 it cost €350 to come across on on the little electric catamaran type thing but to be honest there’s not really a whole lot here there’s some restaurants and things over there um we’ve had a little ones are around there’s not much else to do except there’s a bar there that isn’t open so oh hang on what’s happening what’s happening [Music] [Laughter] I’m oh dear oh look your there’s a beach we found a beach I’ve got no idea what’s happening right now we’re trying to kill the Ty now for the next 2 hours until the water taxi or or whether we’re going to cycle if there’s in a fik I will obviously keep you updated but it might be a beach there is a beach ow oh there’s a bar and it is open oh this is nice there’s a bar there’s a beach one more more do you need huh it’s a restaurant so basically we had no idea there was not much to do when you got the water taxi over to this side and decided to catch the next bus back to larell the main town did you do lelle find it yeah is Theo pser we’ve been on the hunt for macarons we found them they look very nice oh look at the cheesec they got car they have got them yeah we found the macarons that we’ve been hunting for for hours and they had cakes in the shapes of Pebbles and chilies so of course I had to try something different I know you in the chili [Music] aming yeah I didn’t even know [Music] yeah [Music] CH so I gave it to Jeff as a present and then I could share it as well it was all very odd because you’re looking at it and it’s a chili and then you’re tasting it and it’s sweet there was so many flavors in there it was like a biscuit texture inside and then Black Forest gateau flavors as well lovely so we’re heading back to the ship now as you can see it is in quite an industrial part of the port and sometimes you’ll find that sometimes they’ll be all singing all dancing other times in the middle of nowhere there she blow even managed to make it back on the ship before the Wind Jammer closed at 300 p.m. have a little look at this some bread display and it even says just so you know I’m from bread display cute there’s even an empty bottle of wine in that one so absolutely wrecked from our very long walk today we’re going to head to the cabin and have probably an hour of a little Nana nap before we go back to get ready for tonight we well we got a lovely little nap we’ve got ready we’re now on our way up to our evening meal which is very early I think we’ve decided the 5:30 is a little bit early even for us obviously haven’t been here this early yet [Music] I a this is nice it feels like you’re getting likeed into your room okay good thank you okay so tonight we’ve got the Caesar salad and the beef Caraco Jeff and I going to share that one it’s not just for me and a lovely lasagna for my main course well two bottles of wine or champagne we’re not even what have appeared by the side of our table we don’t know where come from it wasn’t ours it was just put it to cool [Music] [Music] [Music] dessert was Teru tonight oh my God to make Natasha she dropped her shut up she dropped her bracelet we’ve come to Guest Services somebody’s only handed it in servic guess is there somebody’s only handed it in and it’s here we got it back and we were like a somebody was so happy to find their things and tested oh look how happy they are and they made her happy of course believe in human um kindness kindness and Cal and all of it coming back yeah good we’re all happy we’re always happy there you are yeah customer service founder you see where where was it can you show me some tears please can you show me some tears of happiness thank you so much she found it [Applause] [Music] now well hello we’ve been to a we’re now in the show waiting for The Illusionist or the magician I’m not really sure which but it’s been a lovely day so far go pocket we didn’t went in the yellow diamonds we had a little spray of perfume and oh illusionarium just as I’m saying that like it was meant to be Jamie Allen’s illusion area where the magic
