leata Island at the beach of AIO yanas in leata is the finest kit surfing destination on the island aio’s yanas beach boasts a fantastic golden sand beach paired with mesmerizing blue green waters due to its depth and clear waters aio’s yanas is highly recommended for snorkeling experiences the beach of aio’s yanas in leata is the finest wind surfing and kit surfing destination on the island and it small and there are not many accommodation facilities so accommodation in this place sells out the fastest when choosing accommodation it is important to choose one that has private parking Milos is one of the most beautiful beaches of leata and it is located next to aio’s nikitas the beach Milos can be reached by taxi booat which leaves from the city beach at the price of €6 for a return ticket per person another option is to go to the beach by foot foot for this you will need 20 30 minutes depending on the speed of walking the path is steep partially it is actually a narrow path in which the steps are carved in one part and there are more exhausting climbs all in all path is not perfect for walking in sunshine but those who are braver and love nature can enjoy since from there you can have a beautiful view of the beach and see the beach is surrounded by high slopes and although large it is isolated from everything and that’s why you can enjoy even more the beach is made of fine or large white Pebble and the sea is bright blue and milky as well as other famous beaches in leata the beach is not organized so it is necessary that you take your equipment it is wide enough and long and usually it is not crowded kathisma Beach is one of the most well-known and picturesque sea Shores in the ionian complex it is a Cosmopolitan destination showcasing a lengthy Shore with otherworldly white colored sand it’s 15 km away from the capital city leus and three 5 km from aio’s nites kathisma is as beautiful as two most known beaches on leata foru Kiki and eamy and it is easily reachable therefore that makes it perfect for all who want to take rest from driving the winding roads to the beaches and going down the steps kathisma is also excellent for all who like Urban refreshing drink have a snack or arrange a tailor made event kathisma is popular among the young population because in its bars there are often performances by famous DJs and the beach has volleyball and Tennis Courts on the beach you could try paragliding and enjoy this beauty from up above furthermore kathisma Beach is a semi-popular spot for naturists at the edges of the beach though due to its frequent waves it also is a prime destination for water sports hosting plenty of facilities throughout the length of the shore such as tandem paragliding and wind surfing the amazing natural scenery with Cliffs and valleys do not support The Wider roads so driving in this side is much more complicated the main road of the West Coast starts from leata town and you can reach all the beaches on the west coast from AIO yanas Beach to Portu katsiki Beach road conditions after aio’s nikitas become slightly harder because the asphalt is much more narrow and WI finding reaching at some Villages the width of the road will be narrow to one lane and you may need special caution for the oncoming traffic especially in calam Sea on the west coast road signs indicate the routs which lead to the most beautiful beaches of leata these are the most winding leata roads with several serpentines steep roads and hairpin bends the quality of the narrow roads is varied somewhere you will drive on new sections but there are many in poor conditions calam SE is a traditional Village on leata it is located 20 km Southwest from leus and it’s one of the oldest villages on this island three great beaches are located about 4 km away at a Foothill of the village these are cavali Kea megali Petra and a vol Beach to these beaches leads a very narrow road Steep and full of Curves it takes more than 15 minutes of ride to pass 4 km and at some parts of the road it’s impossible for two cars to pass one another somewhere in the middle of the road on the right side you will see the road to a volley Beach and if you go straight the road will lead you to the beaches cavala and megali Petra last 100 m of the road to the beaches cavali Kea and megal Petra are very bad cavali Kea is a very small rocky Beach the rocks are both on the beach and in the water these rocks give a beach a special charm sense of wilderness and they provide privacy the rocks are great for jumping the sea is turquoise like on the other beaches on the west coast megal Petra Beach is possible to reach only by walking from the beach cavala across the rocks on the left side or through the forest to get down to the beach it is desirable that you have comfortable shoes because the rocks are not smooth megal Petra is larger than cavali Kea Beach but with a similar characteristic white gravel turquoise sea beautiful sunsets High rocks in the water and on the beach aali is a large Beach similar to all other beaches in the west but without crowd we assume that the reason is a bad and winding road which leads to it there is no crowd so you could enjoy in peace with the sound of the sea the beach is not organized therefore you should bring your own equipment jolo’s Beach is the twin sister of the famous egami Beach connected to it to the North in a length of about 4 km and is named jallow when it comes to length after egne Jal takes second place in leata it is about 35 km away from leata town and is located on the west coast of the island you can reach the beach from the village of aani spotted on the southwestern shores of leata Island jolo’s beach is a sand and pebble shore with clear Pale Blue Waters it showcases a rock filled seabed so it is recommended that you wear a pair of seaes upon entering the waters in addition it tends to be quite a wavy Beach destination but it always has great views of the sea Horizon this beach is wide and there is a combination of Pebbles and sand and the water is turquoise blue there is no gradual depth and the seab bottom is mostly covered with large Stones jolo’s Beach is semi-organized hosting enough suned Pairs and sun umbrellas for rent along its lengthy Seashore a bar cafeteria providing Beach facilities also offers free of charge parking right by the beach however in order to reach jolls you will need to pass through Rock Road some of its parts are completely wild and therefore ideal for campers nudists those who carry their own equipment and those who want to be alone and enjoy while in the central part there are several canteen bars that provide guests umbrellas and sunbeds if you order something to drink or eat in one this island the beach of egy in leata is regarded as one of the most all inspiring seashores in the Mediterranean boasting an astonishing contrast between its white sand and Pebble coast and the light blue colors of the sea egy is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and it is also listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world until 2015 this beach was able to reach by going down 350 famous steps but after the earthquake you can approach it only from the Sea by boat the excellent news for anyone who loves leata or plans to visit is that the stairs are back in operation at tranquil secluded destination egy has deep seabed and salty Waters spotted on the southwestern coasts of leata its surrounding White Cliffs are a sight to behold and they also provide some natural shading throughout the day there are no contents on the beach so it’s necessary to bring food water and parasol with you it’s not safe looking for the shadow below the Rocks the visit to the egy beach katsiki in leata is possibly the primary Beach attraction of leata and one of the finest beaches in Greece and the Mediterranean Sea spotted on the southwestern coasts of leata Portu Kiki’s natural beauty is unparalleled since its striking White Cliffs a staple of leata beaches serve as a magnificent backdrop to this beautiful Shore Portu katsiki Beach is about 40 km away from leata town and 15 km away from vasiliki this beach can be seen on every postcard of leata and it’s among the most beautiful beaches in Greece as well as in the world this beach is a trademark of the island and the reason why many tourists come to visit leata a partly organized Seashore Portu katsiki has some on the beach facilities such as a handful of sunbeds and umbrellas as well as a beach bar before the entrance in addition this beach can be approached by car with paid parking near the shore by private boat or by a wildly popular Water Taxi there is Cobble and small white stones at the beach and because of that the sea is turquoise blue and stones are beautiful and round but can also be pinch especially when you are going out of the water so Water Sandals can be useful there is no sh and the depth is starting right after a meter or two so you should pay attention to children and non-swimmers the waves are common they could be large and there are no lifeguards so caution is necessary Portu katsiki is not a small Beach but being relatively easy to approach no walking and not with a lot of steps it’s largely visited and in the season it could be crowded in High season it would be the best
