Riding my 2024 GasGas EC300, I embarked on a thrilling adventure along the legendary Switzerland Trail. This historic mountain road, once a bustling train rail, served as a lifeline for mountain camps and the transportation of precious ore to Boulder CO. in the late 1880s. However, the passage of time and devastating floods took their toll, leaving parts of the railway in ruins.
As I conquered the steep rocky slopes and effortlessly maneuvered through the intricate dirt trails of Gordon Gulch, my trusty bike proved its mettle, making light work of the challenging terrain beneath the western end of the Switzerland Trail.
