    Hey there, adventurers! Welcome back
to our channel. Today, we’re taking you on a breathtaking journey up
the A4086 from Llanberis to Pen y Gwryd, right through the heart of
Snowdonia in North Wales. Buckle up and get ready to be amazed by the
stunning scenery and incredible mountains we’ll be passing. Let’s go!”
Set against a magnificent backdrop of towering mountains and magnificent scenery Electric Mountain is First Hydro Company’s Visitor centre in Llanberis. The power station its self provides, energy on a short burst basis to cope with high demand points in the electricity supply.
It’s split level layout contains a gift shop and café and is the starting point for the tour of Dinorwig Power Station.
From the centre a First Hydro bus will transport visitors to the Power Station itself. Descending deep inside ancient Elidir mountain’s labyrinth of dark and imposing tunnels, visitors will experience one of man’s greatest engineering achievements. “As we drive along, on our right is the stunning Llyn
Padarn, a glacially formed lake. And towering above it is the highest
peak in Wales and England – Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa in Welsh, soaring to
1,085 meters. Snowdon was formed from volcanic activity and glacial
erosion, giving it the dramatic, jagged look we see today.”

“Starting our journey in Llanberis, we’re immediately
surrounded by the grandeur of Snowdonia. To our left, we have the
majestic Elidir Fawr standing tall at 924 meters. This mountain is
part of the Glyderau range, and its rugged appearance is a reminder of
the volcanic activity that shaped this landscape over 450 million
    years ago.”
“Up ahead, we have the towering presence of Glyder Fawr and
Glyder Fach, part of the Glyderau range. These mountains, reaching
1,001 and 994 meters respectively, are known for their unique rock
formations and incredible hiking trails. The name ‘Glyder’ comes from
the Welsh word ‘gludair,’ meaning ‘heap of stones’ – quite fitting,
    don’t you think?”
