welcome back to procycling manager 2024 for the third episode of our rembe Pro cycling team saand career mode brought to you by rembe Pro cycling so far we’ve actually had a really successful start to the season three stage wins and an overall stage race victory at the to1 and next to that Olympia store race objective super successful so can’t complain about that but now the German race is start you 23 ashborne Frankfurt that’s an important one but also next to that rundum K in both of we have to get a top 10 but we won’t start with those races we’re going to start off with an 8 day stage race the presidential tour of turkey then again that race is about 3 weeks away so let’s start simulating actually a quick boss from time travel I got to talk about the training of my Riders first of all we know how training Styles work now some Riders have groundbreaking some have modern some have traditional it’s actually dependent on the age of the rider the old Riders like julan Gart I’m sorry julan but you’re 33 you get traditional training style while the age around 27 28 has modern and the youngsters have groundbreaking now I have the problem that the majority of my team is groundbreaking because the majority of my team Are Young Riders if we take a look at our staff screen this means that 12 Riders are assigned to dier Rutenberg the groundbreaking trainer and his Effectiveness as a trainer has now reduced to mediocre now we at the Virtual Office of rbe pro cycling we do not accept mediocrity we drive for great greatness so my go-to move would be hiring another groundbreaking trainer but again I have a problem on the facility screen on the right we can see our financial projections and our balance available something that in my opinion actually should be on the finan screen which only has a graph but anyway that aside if we take our Rider and staff salaries off our monthly sponsorship money then we only have €550 left per month to get a new trainer and trainers are more expensive than that so in the end I’ll just have to risk it I’ll have to hire a new trainer trer and gain enough prize money in the year to fill the Gap that is being formed by this trainer so let’s go towards new staff let’s go towards new trainer I don’t really care Alexander Alber sure you can come to our team Estonian doesn’t really fit but we accepted I’m trying to change the trainers on multiple Riders now to make it more shared across the two trainers and on paper if I go back to staff they’re now both excellent Effectiveness there we go anyway business stuff aside we’ve arrived at our next race the president IAL cycling tour of turkey eight stages starting off a Sprint A reduced Sprint another Sprint another Sprint another Sprint Queen stage Mountain spild dagi we’ve got ismir Sprint stage and Istanbul Sprint stage so loads of Sprint stages and a single brutal Queen stage when it comes to this race the queen stage will be for Yago and app bom as they’re the climbers in our Squad and next to that we also have Jacob Scott and yonathan rman as the sprinters for this race when it comes to the competition Some solid sprinters like dardan bvin and Ein horn all 375 Sprint but in reality I think that’s a level we can at least compete with it’s not like there’s a top 78 to 82 Sprinter here fortunately 4 km left a fourman train of ours at the front of the pellaton oh just activated the wrong Rider borish you need to go not Scott there we go and let’s do 99 Henry get out of the way en shell is a bit late on Jonathan and on Scott two kilm to go I’m going to wait a bit longer launch with Ulan right now yonathan as well right now Scot is we that’s early let’s see what happens we’re getting paused by everybody this is just a difference in quality when it comes to or Riders compared to others right now and Einhorn wins yes itamar Einhorn for IP Israel premere Tech wins we got a 13th spot and a 16th spot that is disastrous anyway not the greatest start next time I do want to finish in the top 10 o yon Mark demon is unhappy it’s hard to keep your spirits up when you’re so rarely at the start of a race let me take a look at his calendar so he’s currently planning to ride flesh Duit but Yago is also riding Ebor Frankford U23 which is not really a parkour that fits him so I think I’m going to switch that to Yan Mark demon that way he’s a bit happier he’s got one more raise day on the schedule then maybe that UPS his morale and Yago doesn’t really need it so next up we have a puncher parkour at least Hills throughout the parkour but bit of an uphill Sprint finish so Jacob Scott should be pretty decent on this but then again we are not in the favorites it sees the actual punchers as the favorites wait what Samu bti Stella and rer Adria have 77 Hill that is actually insane with about 70 km left we’re going to start the longest climb of the day my only goal is survival we’ve got Scott with a plus one which means 71 Hill and Paul ride with 71 Hill as well so I’m probably going to go for Scott for the final Sprint considering it’s a reduced uphill Sprint finish left and right attacks have been calling budzinski Huard they keep on coming but we’re entering the last 5.5 km and we are looking really good we’ve got uple bom in second position Scotts or man and the wheel of right so today might be the day oh activated the wrong Rider again in the wheel of right can be Scot and Henry can launch towards 99 as we speak there we go and now we’ve got a fourman train with 4K to go that is a lot isn’t it I don’t think we need that many riders now so I’ll switch to Yago earlier than expected that way up can make sure he finishes with a good position in this stage as well Yago let’s go all out right in the wheel can launch on the hill right now Scott in the wheel Scott in the wheel Scott in the wheel come on Scott come on Scott launch right now last minute try and come past dardan versus butti Stella butti Stella versus Scott Scott comes around Jacob Scott wins the stage we won a stage in the presidential tour of turkey head of Martin godson and Samu bti Stella there’s our man on the podium Jacob Scott but that’s his second stag of the Season I’m pretty sure so it’s racking up one by one actually what does GC look we’re first we’re first in GC right now with Jacob Scott so I’m not complaining same time as itamar Einhorn obviously this is temporary because there is a Mountain Stage in this race but we might as well try and keep it as long as possible stage three is a Sprint but it’s got a small hill in the last 15 km so there is something possible there to maybe spice up the finish here so let’s see what we can manage look at our man Jacob Scott the yellow Jersey how pretty initially my plan was to go harder on this last Hill but let’s be honest about it Scots minus two on the day rotman plus two so I’m probably going to have to go for Johnny today we’re entering the last 5 kilometers and our position is horrendous so Henry’s trying to solve that as we speak Yago in second wheel we’re actually getting through 3.3 kilm we’re looking better now and we can go with Yago as we speak there we go Henry out of the way and Yago is going to launch Scott’s in the wheel rman in that wheel let’s launch with Scott rman as well right now there we go Scott with a terrible Sprint now he’s coming through now he’s coming true looks like dardan will take it we’re not even going to finish in the top 10 Again these Sprints in Turkey have been really competitive now this is a thing I don’t understand when I launch my Sprint with my lead out it’s like he slows down initially and then speeds up and the same happens with my Sprinter so it’s almost as if they need 300 400 meters to even get to speed in the first place where they are literally gabbed by the lead out in front of them it makes no sense and unfortunately the stage has led to the loss of the yellow Jersey of Jacob Scott so that is sad anyway the next stage finishes in Balo on somewhat of a hilly Sprint finish so that seems to be better for Jacob Scott let’s hope his daily form is good when it comes to Scott’s daily form minus one not great not terrible I tried to get in the break this morning with bores didn’t work so here we are again another Sprint attempt final 4 km Henry doing the lead out right in the wheel 3.5 I’m going to have to go a bit early with right I think unless we’re actually spending quite a bit of energy on our lead out right here so Scotts completely out of the wheel I don’t know what to do I’m panicking so right will launch right now and he will go on 99 rman in the wheel Scots almost in the wheel let’s launch with everybody there we go this is horrible this is going to be horrible let’s see bonek frak we’ve got buing on the right Bella coming through bonifazio on the left maybe yes Nicolo bonifazio and we are I don’t even want to know I think it’s about 17th that’s my guess let’s see 15 16th 17th no 19th even worse and let’s be honest my Sprint was so badly timed that my Sprinter got 21st my lead out got 24th and my third lead out got 19th my third lead out is my best Rider here but this is our time this stage from balroom to kusadasi this is the one has a few Hills in the final few kilometers I’m going to try and Hammer those Hills in I I believe that today is going to be our day come on Henry keep our team in position on these Hills 9 km to go let’s go 90 on this hill we can recover into the descend we’ve got an entire train of toal on the left that is trying to smash it but we are still looking good when it comes to our position four kilms to go ride goes all out trying to launch us into this descend three and a half kilm to go Yago is ready borish and Scot in the wheel of him let’s go right now with dieago in this corner maybe right out of the way and bordes can launch as well it’s a descend runin anyway let’s launch onto the hill there’s no Hill it’s a descend runin I forgot Yago Yago Yago where is our Sprinter our Sprinter is in Narnia he’s in the shadow realm signed by our WIS which I do like but come on man honestly in four of the five stages we rote in Turkey here I’ve been abysmal but at least we won one so I’ve got that excuse but next up we have the queen stage against 74 Mountain Riders like fooka Adria Fung M bisara when it comes to our team not so much 74 it is 69 on Yago very nice 68 on Apple bound with about 30 km to go we’ve done the last of the hills before the final climb and I’m kind of worried about the energy on our Riders so Yago needs to recover as fast as possible trying to keep myself in the belly of the pelaton trying to get that yellow bar back but it’s only going down and the climb is coming right now 15.6 km 6.5% I’m going to try and keep myself in the draft as much as possible because at 6 and half% that matters the pelaton is still 90 people but my yellow bar is draining like crazy although I have a feeling that it’s actually a relatively passive climb so far so the second these guys start attacking Yago might actually already be in trouble oh no oh no oh no there’s a gap there’s a gap let’s close it let’s close it let’s close it we are back in the wheel let’s go it’s still 8 kilm to go I can’t follow the tempo of the pelaton I have to do my own Tempo so I’m going to focus on getting as many people past as possible as we climb this mountain sep is done for so it’s now Henry’s time to protect Yago and we got to keep going at 71 we’re now in 59th position in the race so this ain’t looking good maybe a top 30 out of this Henry’s work is done for it’s now up to Yago to try and finish it off himself let’s not spend too much energy though we’re on the last bids yellow is gone Red Bar only we are in P35 I think at the moment final kilometer we’re still going we’re still going 70 something like that maybe 65 can’t go much faster than that got to try and keep this position we’re going to finish about B30 I think and here we go we cross the line ahead of bti Stella I would classify this stage under a awful performance we got 26 with Yago around riders with let’s take a look 69 Mountain 64 Mountain here when it comes to pcorn but to be honest I don’t actually know what works on Mountain stages on PCM 2024 yet because in the past my strategy was dropping like 25% into the climb and then riding my own Tempo passing everyone on the climb today I tried more to hang on and see where it gets me strategy and let’s just say it didn’t get me very far okay another day another Sprint stage so let’s go we are in the last 30 km on the climbs of the day and we are pacing in the pelaton because I want to try to drop a few pure sprinters and I think it’s worked so far bonek has been dropped so that’s at least one Sprinter gone ston fredheim is dropping under the pressure as well we’ve got Pon dropping George Jackson dropping so one by one we are losing competition and now we need to try and push it in this descend last four kilm four men in our Sprint train Paul right now pulling at the moment let’s put him on 99 let’s see if we can get ourselves to the front that way Ron’s kind of ready to go as well but we’re kind of in between people kind of stuck behind people let’s launch with rman Jacob Scott tries to come true oh God is this too early I don’t think it is let’s go right now I’ve put a at the bag just to survive when it comes to GC Scott is not doing that great we’ve got the victory for S dard and we finish I think just about in the top 10 this time so at least it’s better I guess a I do think basing The Climb was a good strategy we get a top 10 in the end so I’m quite happy with that but on the other end I’m also feeling like our Sprint train has been a mess this entire tour of turkey and we got to find a solution for that and now the final stage of the tour of turkey Sprint again shockingly and it’s an uphill Sprint slightly uphill at least with Cobble so on paper that does fit Scott but it also fits loads of competitors 4.5 km to go we are doing well when it comes to our fight for position but so is the alason team with fonden boska so we’re still fighting I forgot some energy shells seemingly there we go bordes is ready right now on 97 you can get out of the way pull right let’s do 99 on bardes this hill will hurt this hill will hurt a lot where’s Scot not in ideal position here are the cobbles let’s go with bores right now rman is looking good let’s launch with him Scott can launch as well come on come on come on come on come on let’s try and get through here oh my God we are getting ruined dardan takes it again we’ve got buding coming second einor Ford but most importantly Jacob Scot will we get a top 10 I think we’ll just miss out oh yeah we finish 11 but anyway when it comes to the story of tury I’ve got this Bittersweet feeling because on one end we one a stage that’s fantastic but on the other end we were awful in every single other stage anyway racing aside we’ve got an important email transf first preparation of doades we’re going to have to prepare next season’s Recruitment and for that talks with the riters agents will open in the coming days so I think that’s on the 1st of May so that’ll be our next stop here we go today I need you to choose the dosier that we’re going to work on in order to prepare the transfer period we’re opening talks with the chosen riders in order to grow their interest in a contract with us for the next season now there’s quite a lot of rid that are out of contract including Pacha Vaga and aapol but I think those are out of our league so let’s set some filters that are realistic so I’m going to filter on riders that are more interested than 51% I think that’s a realistic start oh no one really oh it’s because I put end instead of or that makes so much sense there we go we’ve got Riders available now my transfer policy for this team will be a focus on 90% development so riders that can grow within the team in the coming years and maybe 10% or Rider here or there that is more of a veteran that can deliver those quick wins in the next two years now let’s start off with a young Prospect Emil Herzog he’s 19 years old stats-wise kind of norn classic barer type Rider so quite interesting three evaluation full potential right now so that’s the rider I do want to try to sign let’s open dos with him next to Amil hok I also want to sign some kind of GC Prospect so hus wilsh might be the actual perfect candidate for that 70 mountains 70 Hills 67 time TR so capable in that 22 years old from Germany I reckon we should do this while it is nine points I think it is worth it there we go hus is on the list now this man is quite intriguing 18 years old Luis lard on little track future racing but his stats are can’t figure out because on paper you see 66 Hill but then he’s got like 60 acceleration so there’s no real punch to it but I think considering he’s got four and a half potential at the age of 18 it’s a risk we have to take only three points in cost so it’s worth it now while I’d love to sign a super Talent like Noah isidora 70 Hills 70 acceleration at the age of 19 I don’t really think he fits too well in the team we have and next to that I think he might be a bit overpowered in the coming year so I’ll keep him out for now now next to our Germans we’ve got this New Zealand contingent in our team that I do want to build on we currently have Greg Henderson as Sports director and The Big Show himself Paul Wright as one of our punchers but there’s quite a few interesting Riders available from that country so Lu bow for example 1969 Sprint very nice I would like to sign him so let’s open the transfer do with him and most importantly I was shocked to find out that Paul Wright himself only has 16 to 30% interest to resign with the team so we have to open that transfer doia with him as soon as possible to get that interest up towards the end of the year now on the left top you can see that when it comes to our doas we only have five points available at the moment then I’m going to spend that on Jacob Scot because we want to resign him also 16 to 30% interest so we got to get that up towards the end of the season let’s open doas with him there we go that’s our initial list we’ve got hog Scott and R extension H wilch Lu Bower and L lard I think that’s a solid list and finally we got a confirm the dosas on the right top there we go yes indeed transfers aside next up a sponsor objective asor Frankford U23 top 10 is required but thanks to the fitness speak of Dominic wise I do believe we have have a chance with that he’s got 69 Sprint normally so with raise day condition maybe 7172 that being said according to the game bores and rman have a better chance of actually winning this now before I jump into this race I do want to thank the world DB team for helping me create the database for the scrim mode they have a database out on the Steam Workshop the world TB check it out it makes your gameplay so much better plus three Sprint on Dominic wise so that is indeed 72 Sprint that is absolute perfection 7.5 km K now at the front Henry app bom in the wheel n shels on rman and Dominique wise this has to be the one we got to try and get the best possible Sprint in the world in this race Henry upama it’s your turn Silas out of the way don’t block your own teammates there we go Perfection and borish is kind of losing the wheel of Henry so not ideal let’s try and move through we’re now with 3.5 km to go still in a solid position 99 with Henry we have many riders here let’s do 99 with bores now and I’m going to keep going keep going keep going rman can go right now wi can be ready wise can be ready launch from the wheel there we go Dominic wise Dominic wise come on come on come on come on come on why does he not have speed he goes backwards why does Dominic wise go backwards at least it looks like a top 10 ninth and 10th so we secured our sponsor objective but not very promising I do not understand stand I feel like I’m going insane every single Sprint my lead out Sprints properly and my Sprinter goes backwards IR relative to my lead out it makes absolutely no sense but hey sponsor objective as expected completed a success top 10 required top 10 given now my plan was to ride T of turkey asor Frankford U23 but also fles suit and but I’ll keep those last two races for the next episode now we have to say every single Sprint in today’s video was an absolute mess and was a failure but we did win a stage at tour of turkey and we did our sponsor objective when it comes to Ebor frankf foot so I don’t think we can really complain too much next time we’ll do quite a bit of racing starting off at fles dunar and
