In this episode, we say goodbye to my friend and travel partner Eric Kiraly and say hello to my new friend/travel partner, Roberto LoRusso.
During Rob’s first day in Norway, we participate in a guided bike tour of Oslo, Norway on our bicycles… and then we cycle 50+ kilometers across the country before stumbling across the most amazing free forest campsite.

so here’s the route that Rob and I are gonna follow we’re in Oslo Norway right now we’re gonna follow this route all the way over here to Bergen and this is the elevation chart this is Oslo here and Bergen over here so quite a climb and then a dip down and then not too bad so Eric your bike tour is over yep how was it it was awesome and what what are you doing now gonna go home yep go back to work yeah everything’s packed up right now they’re playing right go back to normal life yeah what was your favorite moment from this bike tour here in Norway we’re just fighting through the viewers yeah obviously just the views are spectacular cool and just being able to push myself did you learn anything from this trip I learned in preparation is a real thing that’s a training training would have probably made the first couple days a lot nicer I learned what it’s like like an extra felt the when you push past what you think you’re a stopping point yeah you going how much easier things start to get from there on the first two days were definitely harder than the rest of the week and the first day I was worried I won’t even be able to do all of it and by the end it just wasn’t even a struggle other than my ankle the in swollen yeah cool anything else you want to say about the trip Norway’s awesome and worth going to at least once okay good yeah I know Rob you’re the next leg of the trip here hey hey yeah so Rob how did this now yeah so Eric and I just spent 10 days cycling across Norway and Rob will spend six cycling 500 kilometres to Bergen and Rob we’re still packing up it’s almost noon but yeah and yeah I think we’re ready to go all right saying goodbye to our apartment here in Oslo Norway strange little place but here we go heading out the door now go check on the bedroom good grab my bags hi Eric oh bike tour program new bike tour partner like yeah very and we’re on the road so we just finished our city tour with Mikey Mikey Bergen our goal today is just to get as far out of the city as we possibly can so we’re following the EA teen bicycle route out of Oslo Rob’s a fast cyclist he gets ahead of me I can’t keep up the man people think that because I cycle so much that I must be super fast it’s not really true I’m pretty slow I I know I’m slow take my time but I get there we found the campsite it’s really cool yep you’ll see it what do you think of the campsite I built for us what do you think that camp in here fire pit and Eileen – yeah and a waterfall that’s pretty good yeah so I have the recycled 52 kilometers probably 55 with all the turns and stuff something like that from Oslo so it’s pretty good for starting at 4:30 or whatever we did good I’m gonna check out this waterfall before I set up my tent do you want to go yeah so here’s the little water fault and those robbed and there’s our campsite right over there and then in the morning we’re gonna go that direction I was gonna say you know the other thing I like about today was I didn’t spend a single cent it’s kind of nice mm-hmm 182 dollars yeah which is almost ten dollars I think ten US dollars ouch yeah what are you doing in that tent Rob pump it up there mattress so tuna and bread snaps butter Oh like peas tortilla chips which in Norway like everything is crazy expensive but for some reason these tortilla chips which I love are only like a dollar and there that’s a pretty big bag and then and then I have a big head of lettuce and that’s my whole dinner forget chips and let it if I have to eat Erick’s up ahead of me down he’s on his bike and he’s right kind of proud of him that he hasn’t quit Stanley good job
