[Music] the 2024 ly bang tour of Britain women got underway in Wales for four stages of brilliant [Music] racing the world champion was on the start line and four national champions it was going to be a closely fought battle and stage one got underway from welshpool Lucy Harris was the attacker of the day she tried to go solo but over the top of the queen of the mountain a select group of nine Riders went clear Dagan took the maximum points in the queen of the mountain she had a teammate Henderson there for the Great Britain national team but L keki the world champion was there too maera LED out the Sprint and it was Kaki who was going for the victory pster a fast finish was there along into candido and it was a closely fought finish between keki and ponster a lunch for the line meant that it went to a photo finish keki was Victorious and she won stage one by the narrowest of margins yeah it was really close when I knew that was the fastest Sprinter so that she was the one to beat but um yeah I uh I think I had a very well time Jump and uh yeah was also really close but yeah was also nice to uh to be able to scen myself and to finish it off for for Te minut export keki wins the stage ahead of patosa Georgie Dagan and yansen in the general classification it’s keki who leads ahead of PSTA and [Music] Georgie stage two would start and finish in rexam the final stage on Welsh soil and it was an active start with Francisco Co of Team DSM feric post andl taking a solo lead no one bridged across but then it all came back together with capek and Henderson forming a breakaway it was the green jersey and the leader of the general classification keki the world champion who led out the Sprint with Henderson trying to challenge but in the end it was two from two for keki yeah I knew how the finish looked like so um yeah when when Anna didn’t want to take over when last kilometer I also was not that uh um I didn’t panic and I knew that it was not a disadvantage to start from the from the from the froner L keki wins the stage ahead of Henderson Weis PSTA and Georgie whilst in the classification it’s capek who leads ahead of Henderson and Paton [Music] AER stage three started and finished in Warrington a 106 km stage into the cheser lanes as he went through kilometer Z there was a moment of calm mty leech and Joe Tinley formed a breakaway Duo and they had a good advantage over the pelaton behind in the closing kilometers deay tried to attack but it all came down to a bunch Sprint that was bookmarked for this stage Weis was being challenged by Co and Georgia Baker tried to get herself involved with the Sprint but in the end it was the rocket Lorena Weis who won into Warrington taking stage three making it three in a row for SD Works Pro time yeah the team did anyway a really good job all day with controlling the breakway and uh yeah we me together for the final and yeah chistin delivered us really good for the corner as first and uh yeah it was a really fast finish and then I saw like oh it’s still it’s only 200 me to go so I started my spr and I wasy to deliver the team it was joy and Delight for SD Works Pro time with webis taking stage three ahead of Cool Baker Barbieri and Perkins keki continues to lead the general classification ahead of Henderson pnos to Georgie and Jansen the fourth and final stage of the Lloyds Bank tour Britain women got underway from from the national Cycling Center in the city of Manchester it was all to play for and Riders and teams would want to try and take the Jersey off the shoulders of kapaki doel Hickok tried to attack but it all came back together Dagan went over grains bar the first queen of the mountain taking the points and consequently opened up a lead on the final climb of the day was Francisco C of Team DSM feric post L trying to close the gap to D 45 for Georgie but it all came down to a r sponge Sprint with keki leading into Lee She free wielded and handed over to maseras and Weis and it was close on the line with maera celebrating yearly it was Ruby Roseman Ganon who came through and took the stage Victory a photo finish confirm that Ruby Roseman Ganon took the win it was the first UCI Women’s World Tour victory for the Australian road race champion keki won the Sprints competition whil Lizzie Dagan took home the blue Queen of the mountains Jersey alen Jansen was the best young Rider whilst in the classification for the overall it was keki who won ahead of Henderson and Majerus L keki is the new leader in the UCI Women’s World Tour Ruby Roseman Ganon takes the stage ahead of maseras and Weis whilst in the overall General classification keki wins 17 seconds ahead of Henderson with maseras third at 34 seconds lto keki leads the UCI women Women’s World Tour rankings ahead of dami varing Lorena weers and Alisa Longo borghini whilst in the UCI Women’s World Tour youth rankings it’s Sheron van anroy who leads ahead of pck petersa and Ne Bradbury we’ll see
