A big crash during a wet descent neutralized the 5th stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné. Afterwards, Visma-Lease a Bike manager Richard Plugge was very critical of the organization. His team will probably lose 2 riders for the Tour de France, with Van Baarle and Kruijswijk.
Crazy to believe that riders are participating in those conditions. The Giro also received some attention due to the awful weather. As much as we love cycling, we also have to understand that they are humans and their lives are at risk. That was a mass crash and something no spectator wants to see.
