I visited a car dealer in Birmingham , all was good and I was about to leave when the sales manager spoke to me and wasn’t happy at all. I agreed to go back outside and do the drone and leave. Then all hell breaks loose.

the floor at all apart from that is that a clutch can’t quite work out what that is from here but there we go pallets there in fact got a load of pets in the corner that there that’s definitely a fire hazard I would say and this looks like the main place where the cars are massive place it’s going this way I think but absolutely stinks the FES in here oh my God why have they got that running in walked around your house and filmed your house what would you say if you came to my house and film my house if I came to your house and filmed and videoed around your house what would you say call the police yeah of course you would do you know why why cuz my house cuz this is private property and you’re take you’re videoing on private property and You’ not asked permission but there’s a difference right no there’s not a difference cuz I can walk in here buy a car right you can walk in and buy a car for example yes I can’t you can’t walk into my house freely and walk around can you it’s it’s a posting or or take or presenting anything to do with our business without our permission is he aware of exactly what it is he just said he’s filming no no he he when I went in there what’s that guy doing walking around video without without permission I said I just said exactly the same thing yeah but that sounds suspicious when you put it like that there’s a guy filming it is suspicious we don’t know who you are you’ve not presented with a card I don’t know who you are yeah you’ve not given me the name of your business okay but you’re walking around video business that’s been here for 40 years so you must be doing something right to say it that long right yes we are so what you got to hide why we’ve got nothing to hide we just do not take exception to people walking in video and started taking videos without asking permission it’s quite common these days with YouTube and all that lot no no it is I’m telling you it’s quite popular more so the main dealers but Independents are getting done as well we’ve had a professional video done of this place with the Drone okay we’ve had some outside and stuff outside yes it was two probably two and a half years ago when we did it yeah fair enough yeah we’ve had that lump you know get going but it’s just not right to walk into someone’s premises if you think it’s right you’re hung up that aren’t you that I’ve walked around without mentioning it first yes I am yeah because you wouldn’t allow that to happen to your business well I wouldn’t be able to stop you if I had a car dealer like this you can walk in I can’t stop you can I until I see you doing it I’ll be like what you doing yes exactly and if you said to me I’m doing it for social media we have no seen you do it and you’ve not asked permission it’s it’s courteous mate did you not see it as a window of opportunity too if I told you 20,000 people will watch whatever this video takes today you could go you know what I’m not I’m not happy about how you’ve done it but come in I am asking you not to post it okay if you’d have come in and said would you mind if I walk around take a video we would if i’ have done that what would you said i’ have asked the owner yeah if he’d have said yes fine if he’ have said no no right but the fact that you just walked around the dealership taking your own video yeah sorry and I’m ask and I’m asking you well not to post a video because because you’ve not had a permission to do so what you’re saying is okay anyone with a YouTube channel or anyone on social media right can walk into anyone else’s business without without their permission and video their entire business um without permission when it’s an a place like this which is open to the public like a showroom then legally they can legally they can you know they can can’t they like w um like a tile shop or or a flooring carpet shop walk into the showroom bathrooms then if we see put saw people videoing you know you can have your own rules in here exactly you can say no filming right for example yes and you say if you’re going to continue you need to leave yes which is kind of what what you’ve said yes because I got to respect that I’ll leave yeah but to say delete it is a little bit unreasonable but it’s not unreasonable because you’ve taken video footage without people permission isn’t it make sense but you you’ve done it without you can’t walk into someone’s business and video it’s the same as if you want to record a telephone call you have to tell the person you are recording the telephone call for training or management purposes okay yeah you would have to to pass the law okay okay so what you’re saying is you’ve got there’s no law to stop you walking in and videoing someone else’s business there isn’t no no there’s not unfortunately for all I know okay you could be videoing Vantage points easy access points exit points we could get Rob next week can you understand that that’s not going to be because of me is it we could get robbed next week right because your you could be taking videos and pictures of easy access points how many cars we’ve got in here how many cars it would take to get x amount of cars out we don’t know do we video because it’s a copy but it’s my video what so I appealed it and they they’ve rejected it it’s like it’s my logo on my channel Tik Tok Tik Tok it’s ridiculous I’ve heard YouTube do the same a lot of videos oh if you steal a video that they’ll do you for that but if if it’s your own video it’s got my little logo on it my Channel’s got the same logo it’s like that might your video they rejected all that usual stuff um and then actually I’d left I’d walked out and I’d finished I was out on the public pathway flying my drone to do the finishing like aerial footage you could say um this lady’s came out I haven’t seen her before she’s came out and said do I need to call the police on you and then all of a sudden she’s tried to pull the camera off my chest I’ve been filming with a body cam so obviously naturally when she’s tried to grab it I’ve pushed her hand off quite hard because I didn’t want her to take my camera obviously you know because my livelihood so and that’s it I’ve I’ve I’ve I’ve walked back away um and then the owners came out and he’s obviously heard she she’s obviously told him oh he he’s he’s he’s pushed my wrist or he’s whatever she said and he’s he’s like got very angry and got in my face and he hasn’t punched me but he he he tried to um all I want is you guys to just attend um so so that I can drive away without them kind of following me and secondly I I want them to realize that what I’ve done is is not I haven’t broken the law I haven’t assaulted her I haven’t done anything um but is it is it not up to that I say I don’t know much about Cil but is it not up to them if they don’t want it filming if they don’t want to be in it is it not up to them to not not want that is that yeah so what’s happened is I’ve walked around for a little bit and I’ve I’ve came across somebody most people don’t like being do they that’s the thing yeah so I haven’t filmed anybody I filmed the cars but then at some point I’ve spoke to the sales manager and he’s obviously been like look you should have asked permission to film really blah blah blah I’ve said fair enough I’m going to leave now I’ve agreed to leave I’ve gone back outside I’ve been on the main road area um public path I’ve done my drone flight and then this is when the ladies came over to me I haven’t gone over to her I didn’t even I haven’t seen her before that she’s came over with a phone in her hand saying do I need to call the police I said why and she said because you’re filming and then as she said that she’s lurched at the camera the the body Cam and obviously my body cam is always on so Car Center oh it was that same one yes okay no problem okay so I’ve run R into a business opposite I’ve gone through the warehouse out of fire escape over the train track which is where I’ve ended up in this container place but they followed me I’ve seen them climbing the fence into the railway truck so that’s why I’m scared cuz where I am right now anything could happen here and there’s no cameras nothing so yeah I understand are you still stood on the container I’m lying down on the container okay able to look around cuz officers are really nearby they might be able to see you if you stand uh I don’t know how you get into here there’s a bridge there’s a bridge that goes over it it goes under the motorway and it goes over this place if you look on the map I can see that roadway going over it says that that in the storage container of the officers they’re asking that you make yourself known are they in here are they yeah they’ve arrived at the location they’re looking around then I’ve I’ve said to you guys I’m going to wait for you guys to come deal with it go when I’ve been trying to go this Range Rover has come across the pavement at me and they’ve all chased me over the lady grabbing the camera me pushing her hand off I’ve probably got them other guys coming but my issue is where’s your vehicle my issue is it’s in the industrial estate car park right you’ve originally got out and theyve chased you from I’ve crossed the road into there yeah to try and get into my car they’ve came after me so I’ve ran into this company gone through the warehouse out the back of a fire escape yeah they’ve been trying to get into their yard so I’ve gone over the fence through the bushes over the railway track okay my issue is I’ve done nothing wrong there but they’re going to try and say one he’s been flying a drone and two you’ve got you’ve got a jump in the back of the van in the back Give Me 2 minutes jump there you haven’t got any water of you mate I’m I’m [ the business for a YouTube video right finished my video ladies came out and tried to pull this off me okay cuz how they behaved in the company if I put that on the internet it won’t look great for them so I think she came out to try and take the camera off me to try and stop me posting it right I’ve obviously grabbed her hand and i’ I’ve pushed her away and you know what you do if someone tries center reservation at me and he’s got out and Leed at me then another car in traffic has randomly they’ve got out and chased me so I think they were also came for me been three of them so I’ve just Leed it and Leed it and legged it and hidden what’s the deal with this dealersh like what’s happened there I’ve just been in there to film a video so I’ve got into the dealer to walk around the cars what I do I make videos yeah on uh car dealers right is it like a bad report like of the dealers or it’s an audit right so you know when people come to film police stations and they show good or bad so I just walk around I show good or bad and to be honest it wasn’t bad but at the end one guy spoke to me and said oh we don’t want you to do the video blah blah blah blah now I’ll post that anyway cuz it shows that they don’t want the video that’s what I do that’s fine there’s no issue they said you you go do your thing we’ll go into a thing I’ve gone on the path I’ve to my drone up to do like a picture of the roof and stuff and that’s when this lady’s come over to me I don’t know who she was but she worked in the company and she said oh she like all the place on you I said what for before I’ve said anything she just grabbed she tried to take it so I’ve just pushed her back okay and that’s it that’s the only contact but that’s my livelihood there’s a lot of other videos on there from other days which if I lose that I lose a lot of money so I naturally tried to defend that okay um that’s literally it like where’s your name yeah where’s your drone first of all you know where it is I’d have to go back out the way I came and yeah it’s going to be through there okay but it’s not going to be easy to get because you’ve got a metal fence yeah and you’ve got a container in the way the easiest way to get to it from the container side or from that’s raway tracks isn’t it there see I came over a fence that side yeah dropped into bushes it could have dropped there or it could have dropped when I dropped here so I can probably check this side okay easily enough if they’ve got the key to get in the gate if yeah if I show you the gate that’s locked is it down there I came out of or that one you came you wed toward down that side mate but I don’t know whether you came out nearest to the train tracks I think I came out right down there it’s a good question cuz I climbed over this fence a silly question they are but where have you come from did you have any kind of GPS tracker on it if I had the controller it’s in the bag is there any other way of tracking it uh via your phone you got a phone in your bag or I’ve got a phone and I got my camera okay if you got can is your drone attached to your phone like linked or anything like that so the Drone in the controller if I had the controller it would bleep and Flash what were you recording for used car dealer oh right I make videos on car dealers right okay so where have you come from s I’ve came across the railway truck so it might have dropped when I came over the fence that side which I know where it is from here no I’ve came from that company over there right okay I’ve ran across through that business yeah out the fire escape they’ve came through the business after me so I’ve climbed over that fence that side down the bank down the railway track and over so it’s either going to be down there or it’s going to be on the other side where I came in to be on the railway yeah it’s either going to be where I climbed over this side or this side up on the okay roof of that R there which way did you go so I think I came over here yeah so you’ve gotone across the railway tracks I came through that business okay over that side over here and they were still coming over so I have to climb over this side and go through okay but it would either be here so when we pulled up you were walking down that how did I I got into a place where there’s like a big metal thing with a lock on it to get out how did you get out I climbed over that but I I came through here somewhere from that way did you land here I’ll show you yeah the officer said l g i don’t have any I thought this was locked no all right go on yeah so there’s the bag but I climbed up there around so I came over here it’s it’s further down than I thought okay is that you st no because I I realized that was empty so when I’ve been trying to climb in this roof I’ve left it there for to just to make myself quicker okay so the Drone is either going to be just over the side of this fence or if it’s not there it will be where I came over the opposite side of the Railway but I don’t want to go there while them those guys are there you came over this fence I I came through here and over I’ve checked here it’s not here yeah okay but obviously I know where I walk so so I remember I I landed on here so [Music] it’s probably happened because the other side fence was a lot higher so I’ve probably got my leg up and then as I’ve as I’ve jumped into the bush it’s probably all came out so I know where it will be but it will be going round to that side thing is we can’t want a TR I know you can’t but uh it’s probably going to be way you are but where I came on that side yeah cuz the fence is higher to uh get up at height periodically the whole way down I’ve not seen it so what happened is Buddy I’ve came over this side here and where I would have lost it is a bit further down but the other side of the fence the other right in inside the company it will be if that makes sense where we are now but on that side do you know what sort of company it was oh it’s right there okay not not that bu right there it’s got a yard with a a black gate yard with a black gate okay um have a look on maps so it will be the Drone and the controller and a camera it would have all came out at the same time okay okay so I’m going to bring the police on you for that okay and then when I’ve said what do you mean she’s just gone to try and take that off me right okay so I’ve pushed her away yeah yeah yeah that’s it um viewing screen on the back of that one looking for yeah yeah yeah you want to do it now get that what I would say is in future reference if you’re going to do this as my colleague said maybe maybe for out for a hiker cuz you know that’s just going to come back to whatever far further away stupid to parts are close maybe I just do that many nothing ever happens negative so you don’t think it’s going to happen and it happens but ultimately I do that with regards to the Drone I would ask the business whether they’ll let you walk through to just see where you dropped the Drone see if it’s there if you can’t see can I do that with you now because I don’t want to come back on my own and then yeah yeah that’s fine um if you don’t see it or if it’s hitting in the bushes the only thing you can do really is contact Network rail say where you think you dropped it and ask if any Workman could maybe have it’ll be on the other side of that fence do it not show on the camera where it’s landed it’s a good good idea the last point of well no I know where I went over from the camera by the blue skip you know I came in here before yeah I climbed over the fence and I’ve lost something okay okay yeah could be anywhere over the problem that’s where I went though it’s either going to be there which it probably could also be on the train track from where you went over and we can’t have you go on there no no I can’t go on all I can suggest
