Welcome to our first video of the tour of Slovenia 2024 apologies for not doing stage one and stage two those were won by sprinters but today we are looking at stage three a very exciting start to the race and at the beginning there was a good atmosphere with mate moric even seeing his better half but at the start we had his teammate Phil bous in the leaders jersey in the green jersey and they all lined up for this third stage which included three cized climb across this 160.5 km course and the interesting part is that the race actually dipped in to Italy here before they took that final climb with a descent as well so definitely one mate moric was looking towards you would think but the rid has gone underway in this beautiful capital of Slovenia and they were all looking to potentially challenge the likes of barin Victorious UAE very strong team had that young Antonio Mado but he wasn’t the one who was trying to get into the break that was Adria mobile who quickly got a rider up the road almost but it was a very interesting Affair Slovenia such a beautiful country and really being showcased by this race but when we joined the pelaton we could see inos grenadiers being up towards the front and we also had EF education easy post also but towards the front it was the Frenchman and the Ethiopian for the man Jersey and it was the q36.5 rider who took it but they had a lead still and svenia once again showing The beautiful landscape with this enormous bridge but the three riders that had been out there for a long time for this race were almost caught with 54 km to go as we could see EF education easy post behind them and it wasn’t long before these guys were caught but 40.8 km to go and the pace was really high 1.4 km until the third Sprint on the road and there was really some dling for position going on but byon Victorious with Jula the defending Team Champions winning with Zana last year were the ones upping the pace in granders also in the mix as well towards the front but with 14.8 km to go it looked like a bani rider had gotten up the road and this was being chased down by the leaders EF ation easy post once again taking the charge up with their Riders Jaco Ula suffering a bit as well and it was a really interesting and intense battle here on the cap 3 climb many of the other Riders uh going out the back Ben Healey was the rider being guided up by his teammate they were looking to see if they could take the victory here there were plenty of interesting riders in this move with 13.1 km to go Ben hey was really putting everything he had into it trying to get rid of Nava’s the Ecuadorian who had success at the Jia but it was Philip oana the defending champion who was the first Rider to fall behind them there was a group really charging up this climb and it looked like Ben Healey and nav weren’t going to be staying away and gessling for the win of the stage as bani were up there in the mix with 11.8 km to go we could see was poo really putting a a hurting Pace on the the Riders and right now this was the main group 9.6 km to go we were all waiting for another move but it didn’t seem to come as poo the veteran really was just keeping things under control for everyone as they just came around a corner it looked like bani was setting their sights on a victory here we even had pter Keta in the group as well but with 8.2 km to go Navaya the Ecuadorian tried to attack on The Descent this was carefully marked by pelari another Rider who’d been in the jayre and then there was a bit of a stalemate and everyone looking around it looked like it was alotti who was looking around for Bora hro at the front of the race with 7.7 km to go he looked around again and he got a bit of a gap it didn’t seem to be shut down immediately but Navaya is looking at everyone else there was a bit of cat and mouse naaya is trying his best to close down this young Italian but the borans rider had gotten him himself a few bike lengths of a gap and he was just pacing down this descent no one able to catch him and the borans Ridder has done an absolutely incredible job for a lot of his teammates but now it was his moment to shine in the Sun the young Italian we thought maybe pazar would do something but here he got the best of everyone everyone were looking everywhere else but they underestimated alotti and alotti took the victory for B hanser behind him it was a real battle for second place as we saw the catam mouse continuing but naay the man who could have maybe won this took second place so yeah a a incredible performance there by alotti and what more can we say than a great victory for Bora and for himself the team that are going to be Red Bull borans soon so this might actually be the last time we see a Bor hanura Rider win under that name but a huge Elation for him and just wow what a victory and what a brilliant little attack he did no mention of mate mored he was dropped and yeah here’s the confirmation alotti wins Navaya second jigat in third place Zan the defending Champion only fourth losing only 11 seconds pazari fifth bilau in sixth poto Vio in seventh Steph cross in eighth kovil in n nth and Paul double who seems to love this race in 10th so that’s the top 10 and let’s hear what the winner had to say about his race in this interview uh I think we’ve rid very good today and all the three stages so far with a very good spirit and yeah also today without them I couldn’t have done it because I also had a flat tire uh just before the the last climb so they helped me to come back and I’m really
