Derby To Alport Heights Loop, Another Great Local Derbyshire Ride.

Hello everyone, nothing special, just a quick, easy local Derbyshire road ride to get out & about while the weather is good. It is a 30 mile mainly road ride starting in Derby at Darley Abbey Park out to Alport Heights & back.

hello everybody Welcome to the channel uh today just a quick 30 mile just to get out while the rain sorry while the weather’s okay again it’s just an easy ride today all on road couple of cycle ways I think one Bridal way right at the very end um so nice clean Easy Ride um it is from Derby at um you know what I just can’t get my words out today all my thoughts um starting at Abby Park out to all Port Heights various Villages all the way back through ketton um Mar Eaton Park and back to the start um as always there’ll be a link to my kute map of the route in the description below enjoy I will see you in bit bye y right this is darly Abby Park where we’re starting so like I said once we out of here it’s mainly all on roads Urban Roads through villages dufield you know out up to all Port Heights and back nice and easy capable on any type of bike [Applause] I’ve had a very lazy morning it’s just after midday on Saturday this is a nice middle of the day afternoon ride try and go slow enjoy being outdoors had a few rain showers this morning so that’s another reason why I’ve had a bit of a lazy morning hold off until uh most of them have passed so hopefully it shouldn’t rain this afternoon while we’re out that’s busy long here today it’s normally dead as a door now [Music] J thank you oh some gorgeous views today when the sun actually breaks through lovely spring there oh I didn’t realize it got a bit of a bit of a steep climb boys and girls W I hope this this is just short oh it’s getting steeper and steeper and steeper that’s a nice Defender and this hill goes on and on and on again some cracking views boys and girls let’s have a look lovely when the sun comes out views are superb just about see where we were yesterday you can just about see the control tower at East Midland’s uh airport at clump of trees it’s a post that’s the uh control tower wow yay lovely I’m going have a little breather I think I’ve only ever been up or down this road maybe once before uh in one of my videos where it was like -3 -5 oh my God look at this uphill stra up Jesus Christ This is a bit Str up wow B wling to the right oh I say not blame oh view should be good from up here today seem as it’s reely sunny even though it’s still quite hazy be very windy up here as well at that viage look at this for viewage boys and girls fantastic black box over there where that other area is high peak Trail there the windmills uh Harbor rocks high peak Trail hi behind in that dip there is a dip there it’s caring some water glorious absolutely love it up here just going to imagine it’s not very often that it’s not windy so you can’t set up here for long even in the nice weather if the Air’s cold like itous today gorgeous gorgeous when the sun shining up here the scenery is fabulous e lovely final View and this is the last couple of three miles back to the beginning this is the back of ketton Hall and this is Bridal way just running parallel behind it lovely Derby over there this little Bridal truck have a slightly downhill until the last little bit so don’t really need to go any pedaling if you just want to take your time try this okay
