competitive match to end their season after after uh playing several matches throughout the the the year so we are already presenting the players from each team Stout players have been have been uh presented uh by the speaker and we’ll start the match in a couple of [Music] [Applause] minutes we are now hearing the presentation of each of the olyp mechanic girls playing this National final uh this is a team from the from the Midlands that uh is uh appearing in the finals after 7 years and looking forward for the for this event and all the players all the coaches are really really excited by um attending and being able to participate in the finals and having the the opportunity to to achieve the the trophy in the in the end uh about thr handball club uh they have been in a uh a very often present in the National Finals they were playing the under 16 girlf final last year they played the under 19s as well so yeah uh a very competitive match we’re looking forward to to it uh refed by Vlad and Christian uh to eha referees uh that will um uh be in control of the game so we see the final speech of final pop talk from the coaches uh speaking about the coaches a word for the Olympia canic coaches so Alicia Smith uh the head coach of the Olympic kuk under 16 girls uh always uh with uh n popovic uh um remarkable um asset from from the club in the in the bench as well and so is uh Grace coner a club uh player and coach and Jared uh also on the on the bench whilst from the stra handball club we have Matt durber uh a very um qualified coach from England handball uh which is also the GB under 17s coach so ready for the throw off and here we go St handball Club starting with the ball first attack of the of the day an attempt from Emy Jones to play with the with the pivot and first fast for k kbal club and that was a fumble again the same type of uh combination in attack Amy Jones trying to play with her line in a 2v2 [Applause] situation and we see from kuk a 5-1 defense with the number 32 as a point player she is just close defending as point so another turnover no attempts in goal so far in this first couple of minutes an attempt to drive and to break through from the from the right back number 20 Caitlyn tending and yeah nice cross over there between Sophia sok and Med Sutton yeah to try to bring the the left back from a from from a to a middle position to expose mad uh for shooting situation and another fumble now from Hanahan on the left wing and an attempt from stout handall Club to do a bre to do a fast break but without being able to be successful they start now their set attack in St we have Elizabeth HIll as a playmaker playmaker is always a an important player controlling the the attack of the of the team so let’s see how uh both Playmakers so Sophia Sak on one side and Elizabeth hill on St handball Club will be able to um be organize and to control and to call the plays for their teammates yeah another attempt from kak handball Club one once again starting the the the drive from from m and then uh the the right back trying to break through Caitlyn tending but for now not successful and we have the first goal of the match uh an initiative from Hannah hin a good halfof ball movement from the from the left wing and the first goal of the day is from Olympia kuk and and a quick reply from stout the Lefty uh Amy Barrett number six uh on her back a successful attempt from the right wing nice shot good open arm and it was tough for Emily Crowley in goal to to be able to to save this uh open shot goal on the on the on the now the same type of play a combination between M Satan and the off ball movement from hen Hines replying to that goal on the on the on the left wing so second goal from her oh no follow on this breakthrough from Frei so referees call it play on so time from Keno To Go in attack again we see here in in the Olympic anic uh uh a prevalence of M Satan trying the the drives the 1 V one situations and and now good connection with the pivot and uh the first two goals lead from uh Olympia kuk and the score was number uh 15 the [Applause] pivot number two be better pardon Nicole Flor first for [Music] [Music] her yeah aggressive defense from Olympia can this 5-1 several tackles we can see good positioning again now Hanah Hines in this 1 V one from the right back being aggressive and stopping the play so as much as possible and good combination between the playmaker in the pivot good tov2 and well done on the pivot to be able to to spin and to win the first penalty of the match so number 21 uh trying to score asme Kelly and we have a goal first penalty first goal for Esme Kelly so 5-4 in the score for Olympia kuk [Applause] attempt oh a fumble a that pass now in the in the in the fast break but it’s really good to see this both teams trying to uh play Fast to play uh the fast break to to to try to to achieve easy goals in that game phase without before the other team sets their defense so good to see new set attack for Olympia KCK and the same situation with M suon trying to One V one against Freya doni and for until this moment she has been successful in this in this uh dual in terms of Defense St handball Club is doing more or less the same type of system a 5-1 but a bit less aggressive the point Defender so Elizabeth HIll is a bit more close to the to the back court Defenders and we have the first shot from number 32 chess [Music] [Applause] clowns and good attempt oh this is a hard tackle from Olia King she just got in on the court and uh went to the neck of the def of the attacker so it’s the first 2 minute suspension of the game first one from for Olivia [Applause] King so first power play for Olympia kuk let’s see if they are able to recognize the space in defense because now uh St has one player Less in defense so not being able to do so because some struggles in the in the passing quality coaches are are asking for the players to be a bit more wide to maintain the width of the court and just with that uh Sophia Sak was able to find that Gap and uh another 9M goal for her so we have 64 for Olympia kuk with 10 minutes played so now let’s see how uh stra handall Club will play with one player Less in a in attack and they were successful by winning a penalty so yeah uh despite having a one player less due to the to two minute suspension uh they found the pivot and again uh for the second turn ASI um was able to uh as Kelly was able to oh but now uh is it was the time for Emily Crowley to shine in goal so with a save from a penalty spot which is always a an important moment for a goalkeeper [Music] [Applause] and again sprout in attack with one player more and another save for Emily Crowley so yeah this is a moment for her two consecutive saves to to put the game uh in the upper hand for Olympia kuk so we have been seeing in this first 10 11 minutes kuk always in the lead they look more in in control so far but yeah has expected a tight match as you can understand this is a final so for these young players that some of them are very new in the sport this is the the the moment the high of the season so some some nerves you can feel in the players and for the first time we see a uh a new way to to try to to break the the kok defense this 5-1 defense putting a a second [Applause] line but unsuccessful In This Moment fast break from kuk and good good return home from mivan King so yeah were able to stop the fast break and both coaches started to do some subs putting some new players on Court and it was exactly the new player for kuk on the right wing that just made this shot she step on the line while she she was doing that that shot we are speaking about PB prbly she’s a very one of the youngest of the of the squads still year n and we are we have here some year 10 and year 11 so this is a a huge moment for her again this connection in from St and let’s see the first direct frast break but no good return home from Amy Jones despite trying the pass again to the pivot and not being successful then she was great doing her a return anticipating the the long pass and able to stop uh kak F break the live stream to to watch those as well and this is a massive event for England handball full uh full on several players from across the country playing for to show their their performance what they learned in their school in their in their schools and in their clubs with their coaches so it’s it’s it’s great to see the the the environment is great to see what they are able to to to deliver to perform um and the play will resume with Olympia canic Nicole FL now as the line and again the same attempt from Medan to faint this time to the to the weak side to the outside she has been trying to faint to the inside to the her strong faint but yeah again Olympia canic find this gap on the left wing and unfortunately for Ken for the second time Hannah hin goal is this allowed because she just step on the line but R it was a good uh interception now from her so good to see that despite the young player she did she wasn’t uh stressed by the mistake she did in the attack and then compensate that mistake with a a really good um uh defensive action with an interception after the timeout called by Alicia Street no team uh scor any goal so far again Stout trying to break to defense putting a second line so calling imil Waring as a second line running in off ball oh I’m sure the coach must be unhappy Ali Smith must be unhappy with this one so uh Emily Crawley did a her save but then um the rebound was uh for for the pivot so we we have now Dennis scoring her first [Applause] [Music] goal again kok in Attack One one and her first goal she has been trying she has been trying M Satan has seems to be a a her best action which is this 1 V one to the weak or to the strong side so the first couple of minutes she tried every time a strong faint and now the defender is probably expecting the strong faint now she went to the weak side with that windmill so really really good to see these young players already having this type of skills doing well the step cycle and using uh what the the rules allow which is uh their capability to use the the the the three steps and the fakes okay this goal doesn’t count from Emilia Warren the referee called for an offensive foul she used the the opposite arm to gain the space so uh it was called a foul oh unlucky unlucky unlucky for uh number 32 Jeff PA he just got in on the court and did a a pass to the fit so uh stoud well done took advantage of it and is the first goal for Olivia King on the right back position I’m sure she’s she’ll be happy with this it’s a fast break goal so as I said an easy goal for for them oh no no no third attempt for anahin to to go on the left wing and for the third time she stepped on the line so after those uh those goals those two goals she scored on the left wing these last three attempts were unsuccessful and let’s see we have a fast direct fast break goal and we have a penalty really well done from kuk Sophia thurk saw that P to the to the line did the interception went for the fast break passed to her teammate she wasn’t uh she was a team player and pass to oh no no I celebrate but I celebrate too soon because Hannah Hines didn’t score to shoot the penalty she needs to wait for the referee whistle so she shot beforehand so the refs asked for uh to be to be taken again and this time is Sophia Surak on the on the on the line and she scores she scores a goal for Sophia s our a nice shimmy fumble now let’s see if kenot takes advantage of it and goes for the F break a bit last attempt to go for the fast break so going now for the right left wing and this time Anna Hines huge difference now we have a 61 lead in the second half having the score now and um biggest difference so far and with this goal in the F break Sophia Surak is uh more and more the the the the player uh the top goal scorer of the match she has so far seven goals six um as a as a as a hfield plus one penalty so seven goals so far for her uh and the lead for Stout is now in seven goals we have 1811 [Music] end of the timeout is one minute for the coaches to speak with their athletes and we still have 15 minutes to to go to end the the the match so there’s still margin for sprout to come back in in this goal difference but yeah they will have to find another ways to to find gaps in the in the in Cano’s defense they have been very aggressive in the those tackles against those 1 V one situations so probably uh connecting better to the outside and finding those gaps on the wings but yeah uh it was a very narrow situation and the the the left wing Lexi shill step on the line so no goal again we see a bit more deep now Stout against Maddie and that was successful so they were able to do an interception let’s see now if they are able to score in the Fast Break uh take a took a bit of time to do this transition and K is able to stop the play and now we have a set attack for for Stout good breakthrough good breakthrough well well well done well done uh goal number 12 for Stout and quick reply from kuk M set again again her strong faint on the left on the left back position was decisive to to find this Gap against this 5-1 defense from [Music] [Applause] stout bad ball handling over there on the wing and the ball went through the goal line so we have kuk again in attack and as I said they are feeling more and more comfortable there’s a good ball circulation the players are not um just watching and uh they are able to to move the ball and because of that find the gaps but this time no goal uh it was the first attempt for M Jones to score and due to death we have Amy Barrett scoring in the fast break so let’s see if we have a reaction from Scout with is interception and pass break goal use gap on the wing but step on the line again Maisy Jones not being successful on the wing in the moment that stoud is doing a sub on the goalkeepers in the moment that uh Miller emilton did their first fourth save of the game yeah playing better Stout finding the gaps in the in the wh of the Court finding the left wing but a shot that went outside the goal and we see a change in Sprouts so more as said more aggressive towards the the the left left backs and the right backs allowing now the the the right wing to have some space but with two fumbles and a and a missed shot uh kok has hasn’t been able to score in the last couple of attacks so 1913 in the refs call another offensive foul and direct pass r from Amy Jones really good very athletic player and Sprout reduced the margin for five goals nice nice well done well done good 1 V one from anahin good ball circulation the quality of kuk in attack has been that very few of their play players bounce their ball okay they move the ball without bouncing so more scoring opportunity because the ball moves faster and it’s harder for the Stout defense to to to be successful again trying to find the right wing but a save a save a save for Olivia [Applause] so it’s very very important save for Stout but as I said they need to score they need to score to catch up on this difference let’s see trying to find the pivot Susanna Dennis but she was unable to to spin oh nice oh a good assist from Amy B Barrett to the pivot but unlucky she missed the the target so no goal for throut and we have again 1914 in a moment that we are on the last 10 minutes of the game situation that kuk is trying to find are again on the on the on the right back position on the right wing position sorry so it was uh very close to be a a really good interception but instead May m set find the the drive and the Breakthrough on the left back but again another save from Olivia so she has been an important player in in goal to to allow Stout to to come back to [Music] [Applause] this and stout really needs this goal now in this attack let’s see they are putting again two pivots putting the left the left wing as a second pivot she went back now to her position but still lot of problems to find the Gap from ailia Warren from Amy Jones Elizabeth heel hasn’t been able to to to be as uh aggressive um in the in the ball circulation as Sophia Surak from Olympia canuk so Sprout struggling a bit more in attack and it’s a penalty well done nice 2v2 pivot sliding and Amy Joan recognizing that space and winning this penalty and for the penalty kuk coach Ally Smith decided to make a sub putting Emily Crowley again because she saved the last two penalties and she saves another one she saved another [Applause] one really really really important in this in this Final in this final the goalkeeper Emily Crowley and in handball how important is to have a a good performance from the goalkeeper Stout again in in attack nice oh it was a good 2v2 but the pass went straight to the leg of the pivot so ball for kenck again and this momentum that stoud is having by being performing well in defense hasn’t been matched with with the quality in in in attack but now again their defense and due to that a fast break situation from Olivia King and it’s a [Music] goal so 1519 for go margin [Applause] [Music] oh ah this drive from Sophia went to the to the to the crossb so no goal again from kuk and you know how always a a competitive match against players that are a bit less experienced so let’s see how kuk is feeling this slight upper hand now from stout [Applause] but stoud was unable to score in this attack so ball went to the foot for to Emmy Jones so kenck again in attack you can see a bit of some some tireness in in some of the players that been that have been on the court for a bit more time and again Maisy Jones not being able to score on the right wing lot of space but not successful in against rout putting two pivots let’s see what Frey can do and it’s a goal nice 1 V one and a [Applause] breakthrough so we enter the last five minutes of the match and we have the the the the the score more close than we had so far in the second half mainly due to the defensive skills of scout and let’s see how the psychological side now plays AP part on this last five minutes of the of the of the match is a final for these girls they both of the of the teams want to win and again Sophia missing and we could see the reaction from kok coaches both Ali Smith and NAD popovic uh reacting to this missed shot as uh as they felt that was a great opportunity to score a goal and they see so have I see Ali Smith with a with a a timeout in in her hand and how important will be for rout to to score this one we feel a bit of of the pressure of the score and so great to see these young players competing and already playing at a at a at a good level for this age group really shows the the work that these two clubs are doing across the season and of course they are just an example of all the clubs across the England uh for these youth categories see the refs call for a passive play their hand is in the air so the Stout team has four passes to [Music] shoot and oh a very important goal for St to tighten the score and we have now 19 17 so it’s a two go margin [Music] we can see the energy in both teams slight image of concern for K girls a slight image of excitement for stra because yeah they were losing by seven and now they are just losing by two and they see that this time so um exciting last couple of minutes in this final and what are they to what a way to start the day the stands and the parents you can see them cheering for their for [Music] their youngsters and we are going for the last 2 minutes of the match and how exciting must be for these girls oh we have an interception against R playing a part this 51 defense has been so important for them to come back to the to the [Music] game oh nice defense now from kok and let’s see the fast break important one important one and here we have a goal we have a goal very very very important for kuk this interception for Med set and then then the goal for Caitlyn tandi and straight away Matt dver reply with the T out because now we have a three-goal margin and the clock is ticking time is less and less to come back to this let’s see what will [Music] [Applause] happen What whatever happens in the last couple the Midlands and in the South several of them are all also part of the Futures program um that represent that choose the best of the under 16 size group to play for and train for England in several camps across the year some of these girls already went to Denmark for one week where they experience the the top level um country games and we have still have a a goal for Stout on the on the right several hours over over week to coach these girls I’m sure she’s very very proud of of this group of herself as well um and a massive congratulations to her and to her team now receiving the medals now the girls will play the under 19 finals and after this the boys will play the under 19s as well and then we’ll have lro with being a University Club or um more focus on the on the women’s and men’s program um uh but also having a under 19 team uh on the girl side [Music] [Applause] [Music] time to present the two referees and now introducing the lro handball Club [Applause] players we are speaking about the team that almost almost all of the girls are part of the GB under 20s and GB under 19s squads and which uh almost all of them are part of the Elite Performance Academy program a full-time program run by England handball uh based in lber college so this is a uh a team that has several of those players plus some University players 66 H 68 [Music] a team coach by uh GB women’s uh Florence sepples and gy [Applause] punja and then now introducing shopshire handball Club players also a team full of uh players that are part of our GB uh under 17s under 19s team so it’s great to see these players here in this in this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] setup we have here some very talent talent girls that have been playing abroad in international competitions uh several of them were playing at the Euros last summer her was of the under in the 19s and 17s and then that play the IHF trophy in last October where the um under uh 17s compete on that uh on that tournament and the under 19s won that uh that that League Of course as before the shopshire handball Club is coached by Elona Len [Music] [Applause] very promising and an exciting game to be commentating we expect a high level of handball uh also being a old an older age group than the two previous games that we watched this morning um uh uh we will expect a high quality in this in this group of uh of girls these two teams um so looking really looking forward to it last instructions from both coaches last motivation talks these are as I said players that I used to play with uh important games HED huge crowds um as I mentioned in lbro several of these girls won uh the premier handball league for the women’s and the British super Cup last month so they are used to play uh high quality and pressure games but also shop your handball Club as I said uh having so many players part of the GB squads they are used to play those matches so um yeah uh an intense and challenging players that started their youth program at School uh level and then uh joined by several of other players that came uh to uh this region to join the the EPA program the Elite Performance Academy that I that I uh spoke about in the under 19s females game um so yeah we are speaking about the team full of uh GB under 18 and under 20 players that have invested a lot of time and um an effort in developing their skills and they train uh on a daily basis in in lasbra and uh this is the end of their two years program at the at the college and the best showcase to be this National Finals players again starting a 2 years program to develop and uh to to develop in a in a full-time program training and playing uh everyday handball and enhancing that fysical skills some of these players from shopshire from Nottingham will now carry on their their development at senior level uh some with the intentions to go abroad but also here in Nottingham handball Club to some of players going to East Academy in Denmark and we go the cup for the captain choii and the national final winners for the under 19s boys Nottingham handball Club congratulations to them and with this award and the cup
