The goal race of the year is finally here, after months of preparation, sharpening on the trails around Northern Ireland for the past few weeks, off to Salzburg, via Munich, to take in the sights, build the anticipation and collect the bib ahead of the race – and prep for the one factor that’s completely out of control – the weather….

[Music] [Music] Co [Music] [Music] oh [Music] welcome to today’s video just arrived in salsburg the location for the trail race I’ve been talking so much about this past couple of weeks and months finally here beautiful weather today as you can see just start Capital plats the start and finish location for most of the races uh not for mine unfortunately I got a bus 19 miles out into the mountains start and head back this way unfortunately the weather’s not going to be quite as good as this on the day though that’s maybe a good thing cuz it’s absolutely roasting today but it’s a really good day to see salburg at his best so yeah just going to get settled in going to get some dinner now still a couple of days to go until the race day itself we just starting to founder baren here in salsburg and explore the easy bit to explore before Saturday comes I’m going start to explore the mountains [Music] [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music]
