what’s going on guys this Matt from Mad adventures and today I’m going to give you a quick review of the suron light BX and the suron ultra B now I’ve been riding the light be for a couple of months now and this is my honest opinion about it it’s a really fun little toy and I’m going to get more into the details right now first of all as you can see the lightbe is a very small bike it’s just like a bicycle just a little bit bigger whereas then if you look at the ultra B that is much more like normal scrambler for this review I’m going to be focusing more on the light because the one I’ve been writing and I know more about and I can tell you that it is super fun to throw about very light and it can take a hit and I know I shouldn’t have found it out in just one month but I did so first thing is how light and maneuverable this thing is I mean you can just grab it and pick it up not that hard makes it very easy to throw around and in fact that is why we have a motorcycle mount now attached to the back of Lexi the Land Rover so we can even go Overland and have this bike with us which makes it really easy that when we set up cam that if we end up in a place that has some decent off-roading or a nice bit of gravel track we can just go for a quick ride around the area as for the size I am 175 cm and this is how I fit on the bike very comfortably reaching the ground uh the bars are a bit low stock so you might want to raise them a bit aside from that the foot pegs are known to bend inwards you can buy a little bar that goes between them that will make them much more stable other than that there’s also the issue of storage where you can absolutely hold nothing on the bike in fact I have my tools zipped out to the metal frame there are options online where you can get a saddle bag that goes over the batteries or kind of like little hard pouches that you can mount to the frame and those will help you just to store some little things that you might need but probably you will have to keep the charger in your backpack so you’ve got two modes when you buy this bike you’ve got eco mode which limits you to 45 km an hour and accelerates very smoothly it’s a good way to learn that is why you can use this bike even if you have a car license in most countries or the lowest level of bike license since it is an electric bike you do get so much torque when you start and I will let you shoot off which can easily lead to popping a wheelie and if you’re not expecting it flipping backwards then you’ve got the sports mode and that allows you to go unrestricted depending on your bike in some countries the bike needs to be restricted legally and it will still go only up to 50 km an hour but you get that added acceleration in other countries or if you simply cut the limiting wire then you have unrestricted speed and at Rider of about my weight and height that’s looking like 70 to 80 km an hour now your range on eco mode is going to be close to 80 kilometers when you go into sports mode without the Boost it goes down to about 65 and then goes all the way down to 60 that being said it’s super easy to charge in the sense that there’s a power outlet accessible right on the bike so you can just park it next to an outlet plug it in but if you don’t have an outlet in your garage then you can simply just unlock this bit lift up switch off the Main’s power disconnect disconnect and then the battery pops straight out so finally for handling and performance the speed for me is enough I knew what I was getting myself into when getting this bike it’s not a super powerful thing it’s small and that size is definitely reflected in the power that being said it has a ton of torque and pulling it into a wheelie takes no effort at all if you know what you’re doing just make sure to have your fingers on that back breake because it can throw you off at a moment’s notice aside from all that it takes Corners pretty well even considering it’s a dirt bike the tires are pretty grippy and the brakes are decent too sometimes it does skid if you press the brakes too hard especially because I haven’t fully worn in the tires yet although because they are off-road tires they’re not exactly meant for Street use so just be extra careful when you’re riding on the streets the shocks are also adjustable with preload and rebound both for the front and back which allows you to set the bike for your own weight and although this bike can handle a wide range of riders I would not recommend it for people who are say over 100 kilos all right so as you can see this bike is pretty capable onroad and off as I said it’s going to take you wherever you want to go it’s very small and maneuverable so even if you’ve got some big rocks in front of you you can just put your feet down help it out blip the throttle and it’s going to pop the front wheel up in the air and then the back wheel’s got a ton of grip with the knobby tires I’ve had a great time taking it around here in pen broke for the day and this like just proves that you can even bring it into buildings upstairs whatever and wherever it’ll be happy now maybe on the road you’re not going to take it at highway speeds of course but it will also get you from A to B wherever you need to go you might need to charge it on the way but that’s always an excuse to stop at a little cafe get something to eat charge up and then hit the trails so I hope you like the review of the suron live BX if you want to get one here in Malta you can pick it up from throttle and gear mention mad Ventures when you go pick it up and they will also help you out and get you sorted with whatever you need so thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you in the next one where I’m going to be showing you the combination of this bike and Lexi the Landy
