[Music] nearly June and it’s freezing Mac Coy type thing you may remember everyone’s like wow wow oh my gosh that smells amazing they are stunning really investing in key pieces so I shouldn’t be doing this really nice and gentle your young girls are already massive fans of that was really nice to see used to do this all the time in lockdown oh my gosh I’m going to fall off hello I’ve just got back from a play group that I run and I thought I better take better take I better show you my outfit before I take it off and get into my comfy clothes because I’m freezing it is May it’s nearly June and it’s freezing the weather has been horrendous compared to Monday you would have seen on Monday I went to Chelsea flow show and it was boiling I was so hot to the point where I was going it’s so hot I I can’t cope I was felt I was getting burnt cuz it was so strong the Sun and now yesterday was absolutely freezing absolutely pouring and today is freezing so I’m going to go and get on my warm cozy clothes and sit and get some work done this afternoon I’ve got so many Zoom meetings which is great really busy but I thought what I need to do before is show you this outfit cuz I’m really pleased with it I love it so first of all I’ve got on this trench now I don’t think you can get this anymore this is a trench coat but it’s short can I show you can you see so it only goes to there it’s like a sort of Mac coaty type thing and dble it’s kind of like a double breasted effect see it’s got little poppers here that you do but I really like to throw it on especially when you’re wearing trousers that you don’t want something too long it’s really nice I always get so many compliments cuz it’s like a Big Mac Hobs and it’s last I think it’s last season I don’t think it’s in now Hobs do the best trench coat so if you’re looking for a really nice trench coat then I totally recommend I expect they’ll go into the sale soon but I’ve had I’ve got three now and I wear them every year without fail I love the lining they’re just really nice quality really lovely coats so that was my change coat and then I had on so this is a hob blouse you can’t again I don’t know why I’m showing this I shouldn’t show you because I couldn’t find it on the website this morning I was thinking is it gone I think it’s gone it may come into the sale really nice easy blouse to wear it’s just quite a flattering kind of color on most people and I love the print it’s just really nice and easy I haven’t put any a necklace on with it and I’ve just got my little pearls the I think these are Primark I love getting my little pearls from Primark cuz I always um lose them so I just thought I’d check exactly what jeans they are there so they’re called the straight leg jeans they’re from love all can you see that and I have a discount code which I’ll put below I have had lots of their jeans before in the past but I’ve never had straight leg ones and to be honest when I put them on I was like oh my gosh I’m so used to wearing skinny jeans that was bit like oh but I really like them so they are literally what they say they are straight leg jeans they kind of crop at the bottom there they’re very comfortable they’re nice and high-waisted and they just feel really nice to wear I put it on with my gold wedges which are down here you can see these are my trusty wedges that I got from Meco Benet quite a few years ago but they always do them every season if you want to invest in fact they’ve got 25% off their shoes at the moment get a nice pair of Al Benet wedges they’re so comfortable and then I just teamed this today uh with my trench and then my little Lon bag and I felt really nice and smart and quite yeah just ready for the day I felt really good this morning I’m really pleased with my hair I went much blonder it’s got a bit drenched in the weather but yesterday I was like do you know what I said the hairdresser I know he was like I don’t want to do it brown I was like really I you know I did I basically convinced him and then I went in and I said yeah you were right I want to be blonde again I think he just dispares with me so we went back blond for summer it just wasn’t really me was it the brown although it was much better to maintain with the whole Balayage thing but anyway gone back blonde I need to just give it longer I think the brown and actually live with it but I can never quite do it anyway let me show you some things that have arrived so first up we have this dress you may remember at last week I was invited by LK Bennett and Harriot spring water to go to one of their events and I tried on this dress it’s part of their Royal Ascot collection so they’ve got a whole collection that’s all based around Royal ascort and it all meets with the the dress code that you need to have for ascort because there’s obviously different rules like covering your arms and things like that I think that’s one of the rules I’m not sure and certain length and that sort of thing so anyway I tried on this dress and I absolutely loved it it’s not a dress that I would go for normally I do not really like green however when I wear green everyone’s like wow wow it looks really good on you and it is one of my colors in my color scheme I’m just getting out my colors here so I’m a spring color palette and it pretty much nearly matches up to one of these greens so I think it is a really good match for me also these yellows I’m loving I really want to wear more yellow if you haven’t had your colors done totally recommend it so this dress I absolutely loved the main reason was because of the way it fits now elk Bennett is very expensive I’m not going to lie I do have a code if you want that but it is a special occasion in my eyes place to shop and you have to get the whole fit right which I think LK Bennett do so well the reason why it’s expensive is the quality of the fabrics and the way the clothes are made to fit you perfectly and I’m not joking this dress just fitted so well so you can see the line comes under the bust and all the way down you’ve got this lovely crossover that doesn’t gape too much and then you have these sleeves but with the cutout detail on the side here really nice little bits of elastic although it’s not elastic it feels like elastic it’s definitely not elastic quality like the zip that comes up to here and you’ve got a gap and then you’ve got the button at the top there it just works really well if I get out of here you could actually see it looks like a funny green here honestly and real light it’s a really nice green and then what you have with Ela Bennett is it doesn’t cling here you know which is the main bit that I don’t want it to cling to it’s got so much fabric can you see cuz it’s kind of cut onto the bias on the bottom there that it just flows out honestly I think the way they make their clothes and the way they fit on you are amazing and it’s just about learning what shape and what cut works for your body and I think it’s really important to understand what shape you are and what flatters is your shape so I haven’t actually tried it on and I’m a bit worried it’s a size 10 and I would normally go for a size 12 but I do remember the lady saying who was helping at the elk Ben event you’re in a size 10 and I was like no I’m not and she went and got it for me cuz she was like I think you’d look really good in this so I was like oh so I’ve actually got the size 10 and I’m worried it’s not going to do up but I will attempt to have a go at it later on and see whether it does work but I think the most important thing to note is just how it fits and how the quality of their stuff is lovely if you don’t really want to invest then I do recommend the LK Med borrowed scheme that they’ve got where you pay every month and you can have a different amount of dresses over the month and it’s a really good scheme if you are looking but you don’t want to buy a really expensive dress then have a look at that message me with any questions about that as well because it’s quite hard to understand how it all works so anyway I’m really pleased with this this I just think it’s beautiful can’t wait to wear it and try it on I did all the shoes the shoes are not here and I think that they all come from different warehouses so I’m not really sure what’s going on there I must have a look and Chase that but for now I’m just going to hang this up I’ll give it a little steam to get out the creases before I wear it and everything but I wanted to show you that it has arrived continuing on my fashion I have been sent this from the lovely accessories team so I met the accessories team on Friday day I went to the new opening of the Harriet accessory shops it’s just har accessories no Monsoon and they’ve kindly sent me some bits and pieces which I will show you in due course but I just want to show you his bag it’s massive it’s really good so it’s a kind of over the shoulder big big big big buckety Zippy bag it’s really nice for summer I think that’s going to be great for imagining being on a beach really lovely so I got that and then this which again is very kind of beachy wear bit kind of boho can you imagine this with some sandals in the summer I always think of accessories in the airport and me rushing in there thinking oh my gosh I’ve got no flip-flops I’ve forgotten to pack them or something like that anyway this looks like it was going to be a really easy wearable dress quite loose fitting very comfortable put it on over your swimming costume it’s got some really lovely details as well on there can you see there so thank you so much to the accessories team that is really lovely and then I have been sent this these products so this is from nailers baby so it’s to be used on all children not just babies but I have seen them in the shops but I’ve never actually let me get out the pictur you actually see can you see how dark it is like the middle of the day and it’s like black so dark so this is a body wash and shampoo it is oats chamomile and hibiscus I’m just going to smell it oh my gosh that smells amazing really I might steal this and just use it for me it’s really nice so this is a lovely product they’ve just sent then I’ve got some nighttime oil let’s just smell that coconut apicot and lavender that sounds nice nighttime oil I need that to sleep I’m just going to use all this I was going to give it to the kids that smells so nice 99% natural we have got some body butter I love body butter I think my girls might steal this though but I’m going to try to steal oh oh it’s in a big tub that is lovely cocoa butter M that is so nice what a lovely products really nice packaging as well can you see that really nice let’s just try I’ll do this up in a minute and there’s one more in there that is lovely feel like I need a bowl and body lotion oats coconut have you done that is that two oh no that’s the shampoo and the body wash and this is the cream that smells so nice I think I’m just going to steal this was going to give it to the girls it smells too good really lovely thank you so much for these lovely products they’re really nice absolutely lovely obviously I haven’t tried them yet from the smell they sound smell amazing so I will come back to you and fill you in with whether you should buy them or not I like to make sure I try things out properly dermic approved allergen-free friend fragrance pediatrition proofed suitable for sensitive skin vegan they’ve got everything this bottle excluding the cap and the label is now contains a minimum 30% preventative ocean plastic seems like a really nice brand alcohol free it goes on and on how to use smooth it all over your body from head to toe it’s not doesn’t say that but it does say from Med today smells amazing I’m going to be using these thank you so much to this lovely brand there we go oh it’s back to front is there I’ll put a link below so excited they’ve arrived so apparently they needed signing for and that’s why my delivery guy was like I couldn’t leave them cuz I have to make sure they sign for I was like oh no anyway got them so excited so this is the shoes that I tried on last week from the Royal ascort collection at LK Bennett love all this kind of branding so we’ve got here the dust bag where I can keep them afterwards I haven’t actually opened them so this is I’m hoping they’re right they look right oh gosh they’re packaged well I think I might need to put the camera down look at that they’re very pack they’re packaged beautifully so here they are they are stunning wow they look too good to wear I feel like I just need to put them on a shelf and admire them so they’re silk I think they’re called Florina here we go Florina is that how you say it oh my gosh they’re amazing they’re so beautiful so they do have a dress that goes with it but the dress is high neck and I think dress and shoes like this print might be too much and too full on but I could wear them with a green dress that I’ve got which I did the other day but I don’t know I just I think there is a blouse that goes with them too and a bag I’m so tempted to get it all I just love the kind of look of them can you see they’re just so beautiful from the moment I saw them I fell in love with them I feel like I’m getting back my love of shoes and bags I used to love them I would spend all my money on Shoes and Handbags that was my thing and then since having kids I obviously have had no money and don’t do that anymore but I really want to get back into that I’m really investing in key pieces and pieces that I’m going to keep for a long time these I’m going to have to be really careful about where I wear them to I don’t want to get them wrecked so I’m going to have to find somewhere I want to do a photo shoot with the shoes I just love them absolutely beautiful I’ve just put them on with my joggers can you see oh my gosh they look not with joggers but they look amazing how beautiful they’re not too high as well sometimes I just try them on I think oh yeah I can walk on them and end up not being able to walk very far at all but I love them wow they’re just beautiful now I’ve got to find somewhere where I can actually wear them I don’t know where I’m going to wear them I just love them good afternoon I’ve escaped my desk I’m literally escaping for a very short amount of time but I have done no steps today and no exercise so I am on a mission to just get those 10,000 steps done so I can get back in I’ve got a zoom meeting in about 20 minutes and I’m presenting on it so I shouldn’t be doing this really I should be getting everything ready for that which is a bit stupid anyway I thought if I go and look at that screen anymore my eyes are just going to go really funny so I need to breathe out I’m just listening to a podcast I’ve listened to a really good one it’s called girls and marketing I don’t know if anyone is into that sort of thing anything to do with marketing in social media they’re quite they’re kind of Northern girls they seem really young but their podcasts are really good I like them and I’m now on to Beverly night not Beverly night Grace Grace Beverly gosh what is wrong with me Grace Beverly I’m on to her now um and just listening to her latest one haven’t just about to start it so going to try not to fall over in the mud can I get through up here it has been so muddy and it rained basically all of yesterday the whole day it was so I’m going to fall in this puddle hold on oh my gosh this could be very dangerous the cows are standing up though thank goodness oh no I spoke too soon there’s loads lying down oops there might be rain on the way yeah I I can’t I’ve lost my train of thought anyway I’m going to try not to fall in the river and get home in one piece look they’re all there can you see them there are actually like those ones are standing up but there are loads just lying there meaning the rain is about to comeek I’m better get back before it starts chucking it down so it’s also got aloe vera in there as well so it’s nice and gentle for your young skin really moisturizing so that’s a nice creamy shower gel smells with doesn’t it so when you pop it on your skin it gives a lovely glossy finish so that’s nice for Springs give you a lovely glow and this also contains sheia butter which is in over 320 of our products as well so we get that from Africa and the ladies in Africa they hand crack the shells and extract the oil gives them a nice job helps to build schools educate their children helps build their homes and then it’s also got some other community Fair traded ingredients same like aloe vera u theila oil Basu oil so it’s all really lovely and moisturizing I love the smell it’s gorgeous isn’t it natur so yeah aloe vera range so it’s paraben free color free fragrance free all the allows hand harvested from Guatemala so it’s traded yeah it’s perfect for a younger skin just do you think that’s better than the vitamin yes I’m a skin yeah definely it’s a lovely range but it has got things like honic acid in it which is purely just for moisture anyway but if you are wanting to sort of stick to the more natural gentle great start and it’s quite a simple range as well C for skin as well so again this one is a bit of an Instagram is this what it is should you show that to me right this is the [Music] one o [Music] [Music] so I have had a lovely afternoon in New York I was invited by the body shop to go to an event last week but unfortunately I could not make it and so they invited me to go down today so I actually went down earlier on they very kindly gifted me quite a lot of these things here I bought this one so this is their new fragrance Blue Bell smells amazing I used to use all the body shop products when I was younger and I used to love them but I haven’t really used them since and now nearly having a teenage daughter she loves The Body Shop it smells amazing when you walk in and I just find this sales assist super helpful just really really nice so this is their new Range out for this season and this month they have a new Range coming out I think she said June which sounds kind of like orangey zesty type thing this is thing but anyway so we bought the shower gel which uh the girls have used tonight and they say it’s amazing we got given this lovely uh hand cream which I’ve just put on everywhere and it’s really nice it smells amazing already massive fans of the body butter the mango one all their body butters I recommend and anything to be honest to make my nearly teenage daughters smell nice I’m very up for so this mango smells really good so we’ve got the body butter mango and then this is the grapefruit shower gel which they kindly gave to us too I don’t know about you but I think we were looking at the packaging and all the stuff that goes into these products and we were like do you know what body shop were well ahead of their time they were well into reusing packaging and recycling they were used to having making vegan products and all that sort of thing well before anyone else I think really was and I just hope I think the body shop at the moment it sounds like it’s up for sale just hope someone really good buys it because it was such an amazing brand and it would be an absolute shame to see it go under because it’s got so many fans in there when I was looking around the shop I said so who’s your target market and she was like anyone and everyone sure enough there were like people that were like I know 10 in there and then there were people that were 80 so it was a real mixture of people that are massive fans of the body shop and have been for a long time so that was really nice to see I think it’s a really amazing brand also what I really like is the sales assistance not pushy yet they know their products they know who they’re good for and what to advise people to use so I was talking about my daughter’s skin and what she would recommend for a young skin to use cuz they want to start using cleansers and washes and I really don’t want to get into the whole retinol oils and all that sort of thing with her yet she does not need that but would like to use some products so we talk through what kind of teenagers are using now it was really good and the Ladi was super helpful this is a little purifying glowing mask which I think that they will love and the other thing we got at the moment we got was this so this is a camomile and Rose de Mali Mali I don’t know how you say that I’ve just used it it’s so nice so I kind of I bought this and I said do you know what might just use it too so I think my daughter’s like oh I I wanted it to be for me it smells amazing so you can see where I’ve just used it there but it’s kind of like a cream so you just take a little bit out put it all across your face and then use a hot sponge to take your makeup off I’m a massive fan of my cleanser that I bought recently which is my LMS one which is more of a balm however this is really nice so if you’re looking for something that’s not as expensive and you want to spend a little bit less then I totally recommend this I’m not sure I’m going to ever see it again because I’m sure that my girls are going to steal it but if you’re looking for a cleanser that kind of milks away on your face so you literally put it on as a cleansing balm and then you take off it with a hot flannel hot water then I totally recommend this it smells amazing it feels very nice on the skin it’s nice to to move around and take all that makeup off to recommend this anyway so these are my lovely products we got two lovely goodie bags and more stuff I don’t know where it’s gone cuz it’s all been taken away but my daughters are massive fans so thank you so much to the body shop in York who were totally lovely and very welcoming to us and it was just a really nice experience if you’re looking for anything then I really recommend you go into the York shop [Music] [Music] he [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] we are out on a cycle ride I haven’t been on the bike for quite a few for like years actually maybe last summer so we’re just heading along a cycle track the girls are up ahead and Raph has I think got off it’s a bit hilly and I’m very out of breath and very unfit but I do like a cycle ride we used to do this all the time in lockdown um we haven’t really ever done it since properly like this so it’s really nice there’s a nice there’s lots of nice kind of roots around us which are kind of this ground I’m at so unfair I think I might have to get off here look it’s going up I think I already have it on the highest gear because I can’t do this look at all these FS here oh my gosh the girls have stopped I think it’s too hilly we might have to walk they’re coming through apparently it’s just this hill that I can’t e I’ve got off well done so we’ve made it to my favorite little stream I absolutely love it here so we’re just venturing along this little RI part of the river oo going to try not to fall in I think there’s a log that’s down up here so we have to hike the bikes over the top of them over the top of it oh yes here it is I’m not going to cycle over [Music] that no none of you did that don’t photograph me oh my gosh I’m going to fall off oh I think I’m going to fall in I think I need to get off this oh no no yeah don’t cycle this bed hello um I’m just getting ready to go out I’m fact I need my lip gloss going to forget that just got my bag hold on this is I wanted to show you this this why I’ve got here this is my favorite lip gloss at the moment it’s a Charlotte Tilbury one and I want to tell you what it’s called but I’ve got no idea it’s it’s this thing like this it’s like a gloss and you just H it on like gu see kind of tingles a bit plumps up your lips I think it’s really nice any anyway what shade is it I can’t even see what shade it is walk of no shame know what called that anyway got that got my bag I’m going out for dinner Babys s is about to arrive so this is Holland Cooper I absolutely love this bag cuz it fits everything and it’s got this lovely kindor gold chain handle can’t decide what shoes to wear so got on this is a Hobs dress with my denim jacket kind of tried to tone it down a bit we come finished our bike ride it was lovely really nice if you haven’t done like a bike ride with your kids before then and they’re old enough I totally recommend it I say to my husband it’s been so long since we’ve been out because I think before they were just too young and they would just moan like 5 minutes in they’d be like Oh I’m tired um but we had a really nice time we were out for like an hour and a half cycled all around the Villages nearby rafted so well he’s only six and he literally did the whole thing and he hasn’t got any gears we had so much fun it was really good then this morning we went to we’s so weon is where crimple Hall used to be and I didn’t realize it’ been taken over but it was really nice uh we used to go to weens years ago when we first moved up here and it’s in Harriet and they’ve got this whole Farm Shop there it’s really good and then this restaurant which lovely so we have Branch there this morning totally recommend it the Gard was really nice General Trading Company it’s B basically all over it and so they’ve got beautiful things in the garden center now I need to decide my shoes before he tells me we’ve got to go do I wear gold or blue I feel like blue it’s just a bit blue you see so got Mary James which are hops or LK Bennett feel like I’m really overdressed I think I think the blue blue blue blue what do you think I’m coming I’ve got my ice cream necklace on green dress I think this is still in stock this green dress I got at the beginning of the season I’ve plased my face with Charlotte Tilbury I’ve curled my hair and you’ll never guess what I’m doing tomorrow morning we are going to go and do a car boot yes wait for it I’ve packed the car ready we need to get up at like 6 oh [Music] [Music] [Music] oh
