are back on another abandoned adventure and we’re here to check out this absolutely beautiful abandoned Time Capsule hidden away in the countryside this place has an absolutely amazing story to go along with a beautiful home so with all that said guys let’s get straight into it and let’s check out the history of this amazing abandoned house the home belonged to Edward and Edith and whilst the home now sits abandoned and decaying it still shows the character and the stories of the couple that once lived here Edward and Edith were married shortly after the second World War they moved into this property when they were 26 and 18 years old they grew all together raised a family here and made many happy memories in this house Edith sadly passed away from an illness in 1989 but Edward refused to move on turning the house into a shrine for his soulmate he continued to live in the family home for nearly three decades alone never remarrying and never forgetting the love of his life today we explore this beautiful family home and see how they lived and what they sadly left behind [Music] [Music] okay exp glorious so we are inside this little cottage now absolutely amazing Place eh yeah ni right completely Frozen and sign loads of stuff left behind cobwebs absolutely everywhere area so might as well just start and work the way through the house so first room the old bathroom here and look at this look at the paint workor all bubbling away here coming straight Off the Wall I can hear flies buzzing around my head you can see the cobwebs in the windows and look at this gry somebody has actually used that toilet room that’s disgusting there’s a massive turd in the Bog mate see rubbish washing bathroom utensils whatever you’d call it all piled up there the pink sink with the leather Imperial tal see you’ve seen this quite a lot recently with the pictures engraved into the mirror we got a pirate ship here Matt the toilet’s full full of sh um I need to come out of here I’m gagging that’s disgusting scales cleaning products all in there that’s absolutely rank I’m thinking about it need to come out of this bathroom ASAP I’m going to close that door too that is rang jackets hung on the back of the door cool little cubby hidey hole here the scales at the top there for the kitchen Castoro castoral even trainers look even trainers left so this is like your bits and Bobs covered Fire Guard in there brushes mops all that sort of jazz I nearly just went flying big chest freezer are in here emptied out seeing shells absolutely everywhere lately that’s always cool to see and then this is just like a laundry room all your uh products for that there another little fridge more scales kitchen utensils so this we believe was abandoned in 2011 on this calendar here May and it’s been scrubbed out and ripped July I don’t think that’s how it works but you can’t just change the days change old suitcase there and some sort of blare witch wicker Contraption Little Summer Straw Hat there as well I need to come out away from these toilets me yes thanks that absolutely vile rank so many addresses in it and dates is there yeah there’s like a 2018 2014 2019 all over the place just why do people keep stuff though that’s what I don’t get yeah kitchen proper Farm style isn’t it the Brasso there saddle leather saddle soap that’s cool the wooden beams holding up these utensils and ends well that all’s well that ends well there you go but you can see how grimy this sink is it’s actually still got cups on the side there is there water there is not there’s a nice little pig this room is the whole house is just completely full isn’t it it’s nice it is nice the little China cups on the side and the first aid kit all still in here looks like it’s got some age to it look at this the old bandages there triangular bandage oh it’s sticky so cool like how old are these man oh an emergency Tamp on there pop that in that’s for oh we’ve learned this is for a broken toe it’s a strap I thought it was like a jock strap when I found one years ago but I have learned we do learn and the old uh tumble dryer which I can’t open oh there you go look at that y old tumble dryer washing machines ovens look at that old um egg timer how does that work what you can’t put the whole thing upside down can you well you looking that’s a how the hell does that work I just turn that me oh that’s cool isn’t it yeah why do it turn the whole thing I don’t know I was just thinking how does it work after just turn the whole M the clock stopped there4 9 9:15 and we believe this is the the lady that lived here what name did we find um Edith Edith is it I think it was yeah I think it that’s what you said yeah yeah but look how old some of these things are cycle patches the old matches there that’s cool even the Panasonic phone that would be considered quite retro now 90s at least I’ve got a feel there’s power on there power try light I could have sworn actually hello I was just looking at tell then I’m thinking this has to be power but I can’t get the T on man maybe the fuses have gone or something that’s cool biscuit tins full of bits and Bobs but it’s mad how much is left isn’t it it is like a lot of this stuff is quite old those envelopes there’s some uh whatever that is I don’t want to unravel it just in case but these packages look like they’ve been here for some time as well let see what else we can find entry of marriage 1949 Edward Edith Bachelor spinster so that we were married he was 26 she was 18 farmer no job Edward Albert parents farmer deceased labor oh that’s their parents job yeah yeah wow February 21st that’s cool what’s the year on it 1949 1949 yeah wow just after the second world war no would he he’d have been in it then yeah maybe how old was he 26 yeah he’d have been there yeah wow so he was a vet he was in World War II came home married Edith worked on the farm sounds like a good life ex set for the war Park and this is where he continued to live for all those years afterwards that’s pretty pretty mad story that actually isn’t it yeah nice it’s like they’ve just lived it ever since yeah the old brownie camera portrait camera wow stamped at the back as well number two brownie number 120 Old wartime radio there is that two out 120 that’s the second other camera no that is the 120th other camera they built my D they kept that but then had the newest stuff with it as well imagine if that worked oh man it’ be so good it’d be on something like this that they would have heard the announcement about going to war we will fight them on the beaches speech latter opener there little TV just hidden in the corner there next to these big wooden beams cobwebs coming down right above the co I know yeah steam going up there yeah that’s probably where all this the grease you see it yeah CH pump yeah that’s what it would have been more modern radio there well considering compared to the other one and look at these letters this looks like um from the W doesn’t it yeah like an ammo box it’s an it is an ammo box yeah for 30 caliber 30 m caliber 30m it says M1 love stuff like that no addresses here is there no old receipts April the 30th 1947 this was 29 year old on April here he had £900 in the bank what was that I think it was the wind yeah it’s the shutter on the garage flapped it then didn’t you yeah look at her shoes still here driving licenses all set out by other explorers that have been here probably mad they didn’t have the photos in them did they no it is weird just paper ones yeah I couldn’t imagine that now you say like set by other explorers but I don’t actually know because look at the phone mode with a little note how do you find both you see that it’s telling like little reminder of how to use his phone is it yeah it’s got some age to it as well hasn’t it press top button early 2000’s phone that if I’ve ever seen one wait it’s still got the thing on the screen what oh the protector you remember this guy monkey PG tips on yeah Little Teapot still on there as well so cool jackets still hung up and here’s the old arur just hidden away maybe didn’t use it as much but what we did find out as well is they used these in the winter cuz it heated the whole house up and then in the summer they would use the more modern cookers as they didn’t need to heat the rest of the home nice little interesting fact there still set out exactly like he lived there isn’t it yeah like crazy probably hasn’t changed it much no how short the doors are as well so you can tell it’s a proper Ye Old House oh you can tell anyway it’s like a ancient rum it is built the similar isn’t it I wonder if it had like was built the same time maybe possibly some of it the Steeps up as well that’s what I mean all the stairs and like the wooden and stuff and the doors it’s all like ancient ROM looking is it’s cool I like it right let’s head this way into the living room tiny little rooms not very uh not very high say about 66 67 something like that literally this Beam with the light be whacking my head off that constantly but so cool quite bear as well really considering the armchair here with the shoes just sat next to it as if they’ve literally just nipped off to the shops crazy Edith’s handbag still just on the side and we can see how they did get older with crutches here there’s old sewing kits champagne possibly from an aniversary said that’s so strange and an anniversary and the TV remote still REM nice little pain in there you can see this grandfa clock but the Top’s been maybe destroyed maybe missing somehow the whole thing’s gone from inside which is strange and you can just see the damage on the uh above it but loving these beans look that would have been the original fireplace before this one was built you could just see the outline so you can see it’s been modified over there the years as well this amazing dresser over here nice details in there with the studs so cool all fif facts look all the alphabet going along so you can sort it I don’t know can we open this I don’t want to damage it in any way but it looks like it could just be receipts and invoices in there from the farm adi’s hat Clarence House course the Red Cross trying to not show too many addresses well none for this house at all ideally but look at these Ivory oh butter knives love finding stuff like this the old um camera boxes oh wow and it’s got hand writing inside the 9th June the 9th 19 46 1920 1934 old dates that’s cool Inkwell wow I haven’t seen one of them for a long time that’s interesting and is this um the gentleman of the house little portrait there what did it say his name was Matt uh let me Edith and Edith what was his name Edward Edward that’s the one you bit some Bobs dra look at this all sewing Cottons frags in here oh what’s that like some sort of little jigsaw 3D jigsaw that’s cool latters in there so I don’t really want to go through there and you can see the mice have been in there plates there wow incredible to see really oh there’s a giant axe head there jeez I’m going to be caught in here while he’s waving that around oh God thought I heard something then freaked me out a little bit painting on the walls still but like I said quite low doorways I mean look at that I’m cracking my head on that every time I’m walking through not good and now we are at the front door if you can see that there we go just turn that down slightly at the front door we would walk in you’d be greeted by this the paintings I found you let me try it says on there the mirror in the middle nice Ye Old dresser here with the phone on there and this is a pretty cool little retro lamp shade which is literally head height I would literally not COPE in this house very well another painting going to head into this next room now dining room but the stairs broke step over that wow check that dresser out very nice beautiful dresser looks like somebody’s been having a look through there but you can see the uh bits for the tables there the lamb absolutely amazing the flowers all um plastic of course invoices receipts spread across there here we go look at these from the war as well look the photographs looks like the uniform that they had in Africa so soldiers that were posted over in Africa at the time maybe that’s where Edward was more pictures black and white that is him from the other photograph from the painting there wedding photos I don’t really want to knock that over but a mauy warrior he’s got a photo of one check that more letters all bundled together another filax there is letters here from 1948 literally just after the war so everything was kept memories to Ramin back wow all these are kept pretty neat in in here as well looks like children’s drawings but it’s all really good condition the crystal glasses in here your china dishes and plates absolutely beautiful these chairs look quite fancy to be fair red velvet on there I’m trying to uh show everything but there’s so much stuff just piled up in this place uh we got a year newspaper here Saturday March the 27th 193 87 and the old adverts check them out little Herford dance studios what else the cinema what films we showing Magnificent Obsession comedy so cool ni BR of robu little Comics there I don’t even know how this newspaper opens look at that weird but it’s cool seeing all the old adverts looking it old fireplace photos of the owls another really low lampshade sh Lounge in the corner look how beautiful it is all handcrafted wow do have some old silver wear in this box as well and the exercise bike very nice very nice indeed so that is the downstairs explorers we are going to head up check out the bedroom see what remains in there found anything interesting yeah me what the will a will yeah Miss Unice Mabel Jones deceased and that’s all the payments yeah yeah so 103,000 assets and then there’s like a list of the whole family which is there and then he’s the owner of this house reg Reginald is Reginald like an army trunk no it’s a middle name Reginald yeah it’s a name is it yeah re Oh I thought that was like an Army rank no that’s regiment you’re thinking of yeah Jesus M but her Wheels left here that’s cool yeah the whole thing isn’t it she died on 12th of December 1989 crazy it it is considering her stuff has been kept here like literally all the lights are on doesn’t look like anyone’s been here for a long time a lot of stuff pulled out everywhere cobwebs dust debris all over the place if you just check out this cupboard you can see where mice have been at the boxes you’ve got all jams along the top corn beef there but look rat poo all over the show all your perishables have perished but yeah like I said stuff just pulled out all over the floor here and there is what is this some little cupboard just with kitchen stuff in it files in there but there we go we are going to to head upstairs now and see what we can find but if you check out these stairs look one off there run off there such a crazy build but I’m absolutely loving this house it’s such a beautiful house literally out in the countryside in the middle of nowhere but to see all of the historic stuff in here from the war just after marriage certificates wheels absolutely amazing we are just going to head into bedroom number one now and see what we can find in there so outside the room you can see the old frames there we’re going to head in duck down and into bedroom number one nice double bed with the froze over it let’s start in this corner look at this dresser with the gold trims there all bedding inside beautiful one of the one of the best I’ve seen like they literally you do not make them like that anymore but what do we have constabulary I was recently approached by the Secretary of women’s Institute group who asked if I would give a talk about the traffic wardens at their meeting on the 14th of February 1972 wow letters older than me Dia Elaine and Dell handwritten handwritten letters at this little Fe in his cap but more family old photographs no years on there but it says Elizabeth on the back on the farm there at weddings amazing just whole lives lived now just sitting abandoned in this house it’s quite sad really it’s it’s a strange feeling nursing book from St John’s ambulance really good condition there this artwork looks like a school with some naughty children she looks a bit mischievous there he looks like he’s up to no good as well look at this guy that would literally be me in class waving my arms around ADHD look at this one of the strings is snapped that is an amazing pattern in there haven’t seen anything like that before but that’s so cool old guitar acoustic guitar more trainers and there is one of these old like toilets kode toilets which leads us to the next dresser pretty much cleared out a few bits in there looks like a lot of it’s been eaten Away by mice some LS there but check this in this cup we have this gold rose looks like it’s been spray painted we have a flaccid candle Jesus that’s a shame the hospice Lottery Lotte 2022 no 202 that’s beautiful nice pictures there a card sorry you’re leaving Hope for future days we’ll bring the best health May the future be filled with happiness for you and then her shoes just tued away under here hidden away another photograph I’m not sure where this one’s from though it doesn’t look like this house it’s painted very differently but like we said big double bed here oh look passport pictures is this Edward later on Wow there he is guys the gentleman at the house un’s funeral we just uh I’m sure we just read her name downstairs on that wheel and another look at this absolutely stunning details in there painted with the butterflies it’s a part of that set there some jars there not sure what’s in there another old photograph of the chickens nice little chair tucked in the corner with uh a cardigan folded over there literally we’re getting into every nook and cranny leather driving gloves nice old suitcase there’s something really nice about these old suitcases that I just love seeing like there is some sort of vibe with them I mean really sets rooms off perfectly when you find these old suitcases it’s amazing to be fair some it’s just vibrated a lot of paintings up here the flowers there postcard oh is this Elizabeth or it could be actually it looks like it’s off some sort of hospital um paperwork it’s been cut out that’s cool a memo book from 1962 64 65 look at this all the way up to 67 there starting at 61 photo album has just got a checkbook there which I’m not really going to go through that’s been cleared out look check these old sunnies out and joh would be proud of them look at them is this what you’d call a Chester Field this wood on this uh wardrobe I think so I’m not 100% but we still have her clothes here and remember she died in 1989 her stuff has been preserved here by her husband for 35 years maybe not that long because he did pass away himself a few years ago but at least 30 years her clothes have been kept her pictures her shoes all been kept perfectly preserved almost turning this house into a shrine for his wife 18 and 26 see this has a different this bed quite Hospital like obviously more shoes just all over the place Cardigans and look at this guys teeth Dentures what’s that oh look at the Flies all around it more receipts accounts there but oh my God on top of the Bible jeez just check that view outside as well of the garden amazing views see the cobwebs gathering in these wardrobes the summer hats shirts Sunday bass there oh hello look at him he’s going for it protector of the jackets we’ll leave them there but the detail in this wardrobe amazing so now we have to head back down and then back up the other stairs three this tiny little doorway look at this check that out and I’m on a step down as well so we’re going to head up wow absolutely beautiful bedroom here big double bed still left made with the throws over it the pillows left perfect I mean if you’re an older person this house can’t be too good for you bit of a nightmare getting about with all the little stairways little doorways but we have more black and white photographs on the side here set out of the horses him in an old car there little next to the bed but look at this Bible that’s got some age to it e let’s see if it’s dated or written to somebody no I can’t see anything the Old Testament there is no writing on here usually you’d find like if it was a gift or something check this Bible always find Bibles in these old houses it’s amazing to see but check that out this looks like it’s been pulled away from the wall strange somebody been looking for something the vases this feels like it would be a more feminine room yeah look at this women’s clothes so I’m guessing this is Elizabeth’s bedroom you can see how many blankets are on that bed as well but you can see all the beding in there we’ll look out this window onto the garden which is all overgrown there you can see it’s literally the fields at the back there past those trees they belong to this home as well it’s a good amount of land the chair here clothes folded over it as if somebody’s about to wake up in the morning and put their pants on put their t-shirt on and get ready for the day obviously been sat there for years now and the marble top on this dresser and the wash basin look at that one that is absolutely beautiful pink the flowers quite feminine same with the soap pushes not sure what this one would be for but we o have the jewelry box next to it photos of the kids not sure who they are but amazing love finding these marble tops especially when the wash basins are that are still in good condition as they are you can see damp coming down the wall or it’s rust from the um Corner beads underneath oh she’s a bit creepy you know and you can see where it’s been cushioned from hitting against the wall but oh I don’t trust her not one bit oh there’s cobs in my nice little trinkets on the side and the dancers there amazing that is an old handbag look at that guys I don’t know how you open that it is empty anyway so we don’t need to bother a little fan open that out on a hot day purses lava gloves perfumes lamant Falcon Mist ooh flak and mist and violets can’t even make that out I’m going to have to start wearing glasses soon but look at these oil of U just amazing that her husband after all these years has kept her her room perfectly preserved as it is there’s a big ass bee flying around me but it just shows how much he loved her how much he probably couldn’t cope after she died so he needed to keep something that he could come in here maybe just sit and reminisce about his life with her amazing so more letters in here Bank letters oh he’ve done that absolute bad drums you can see more perfumes pajamas more makeup hidden away in here skin silk face powder oh I’m St I was trapped more beding night gowns and night shirts there amazing okay guys so what an amazing house this is literally in the middle of nowhere in the countryside it is a pure Time Capsule left by Edward for his wife you can literally imagine how they lived in this house together especially this room there is hardly any dust in here walls ceilings are perfect it is an absolute Shrine to his wife hopefully you enjoyed this explore if you did remember to hit the like button leave a comment subscribe if you’re new and we will see you next week for 1. Matt's reaction to the Toilet of eternal stench. He was like,"Oh….it's like THAT is it?" 😂
Adam reminds me of that scene in the first lord of the rings, where Gandalf settles the light, then donks his peanut on the beam. 😂 That's Adam in this House. Haa!

    2. Farming was essential to feeding the people and so he probably wasn’t called up , there is a name for such occupations , I think it was “ reserved occupations” when they are helping to keep the country running and fed, I know this because both my Grandad and his son my Uncle were farmers and so this applied to them both, although they were both members of the “ home guard ” or the “ broom stick brigade” as my Nan called them, “ broom stick” because I think they were practised with as “ guns” or weapons , brill explore Adam and Matt , much ❤️ Granny Linda.

    3. Hi 👋 fellow Māori from New Zealand here. seeing that photo made my heart warm. Did it say Māori warrior on the photo? Or did you just know that? Your pronunciation was pretty good too 🎉 love ya Mahi. (Work) keep it up. X

    5. A Beautiful home, that nobody wants ( except me), Are the families so rich that they don't care about anything left behind?

    6. 9:01, Edith Spenser would have to been related to the Late Princess Diana, as Diana's maiden name was Spenser. Royalty maybe? No wonder family hasn't came to claim their parents items. Shame on them.

    7. Coucou Adam je suis très impatiente de voir ta vidéo je suis tellement pressée et j'adore de voir ta vidéo je suis ton fan tunisenne j'habite en France ❤❤❤ merci

    8. Can anyone help me,,where was it that Adam went when he was talking to 17 spirits and when he went down to the lower ground the light was swinging and he left sharpish

    9. Hey Adam, it’s pouring Rain here in New York, AGAIN! 😡 What goes on for Sunday mornings here in NY for me? I go back over your videos that I’ve already seen just to see what I’ve missed and there is ALWAYS something I’ve missed. I enjoy hearing a comment you made of the one item you touch or hold up in your hand that for some reason I missed first time around. I honestly love seeing the portraits or other pics of the family members or friends of the family. It’s their history and you are OUR link to that families story. I follow you, (Subscribed) Dale and Matthew’s channels all of you for the same reasons mentioned. No one else does their explore or adventure like you guys do with the forethought, care, compassion and yes even afterthought as you three Urban Explorers do. By forethought I mean you talk as you go about what it is your plan to explore as you’re starting even if it suddenly changes? WE are included in the process with just a side note maybe like “well guys the floors a bit sketchy so we’ll try to get back on the other side.” And what I mean about Afterthought is if something you moved or touched is slightly amiss? You say “Don’t worry guys that will be put back in place or closed before we leave here.” My best advice is to always stay humble as you are and respectful and so caring because these were someone’s homes and belongings…doesn’t matter if they’re of the Spirit world or still in a care home, all this was someone else’s and we’re just visitors. Your kindness will always serve you well, don’t ever change! Your personality and humor can relax the tense or scary moments. It’s all a part of being successful and remembered by those who watch your videos. 🙂 Gladys

    10. Farming was a reserved occupation in war time so he probably never went to war. My parents got married in 1949 and my dad worked on the farm during war time. He also left all of my mothers things as they were after she passed away. Very hard for my brother and myself to clear the house after he died .

    11. I hope you are well Adam? I haven't had any notification from your video this week (10th) missing your content mate. Hope you are OK.

    12. Really enjoy watching. Thanks for being so respectful of their items. Kind of weird seeing all the dust and cobwebs on all the items then 2 feet away the items are bright and shiny.. 😆
