We’re back on the road 🚐❀️ after what felt like forever, we finally got the van packed together and left Serbia. In the video I mention why we had to put travelling on hold for a few months- Yasuki and Charlie needed our help while waiting to get to their forever home. But now that they’ve arrived at their families it’s time for us to continue travelling the world with you guys 😍. We’re starting our journey again in the North of Germany and so far it’s been absolutely beautiful. We plan on heading up north to spend some time exploring the Scandinavian countries😻. If you’ve got any recommendations let us know in the comments❀️

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. So feel free to tag along if you’re interested in following our journey and adventures around the globe ❀️

    1. Great to see you two again! Thank you for rescuing Yasuki and Charlie and making sure they found their forever homes…two more happy dogs in the world because of you!❀ Nala looked happy to be back on the road, and Nessie was just humming along…I love the shot of the two of them in the field of sunflowers! Happy and safe travels!❀❀

    2. It's a nuthatch.

Sometimes, if you get up close, you can see them climbing DOWN a treetrunk.

When you see a treecreeper, they're about the same size, less colourful and climb UP the trunk.

(actually, it could be the other way round, it was long ago when I was out in the woods)

Anyway, they're both looking for insects – the pointy beaks give it away.

Mind you, with that bloody great lens, you won't have to get as close as I used to.

    3. Cover that oil spot with kitty litter ( clay litter) and leave it for a few days. It should absorb much of it. Then clean the spot with Dawn dish detergent.

    4. Good to see you and Nala out and about again. Beautiful part of that country and such clear water. The camera is also such a great idea. Love πŸ’• you both, thanks for sharing!

    5. Dean! Where were you? I thought some appalling catastrophe must have befallen you, such as, you'd got………………………………………married! Oh no! (a fate worse than death. Only jokin').
4:17. "touched the water & it was roasting". Spoken like a true Scot. Aye.
10:10. Nuthatch. 15:07. Peenetal. The valley of the Peene River. Peenemuende of course notorious on account of the Nazi V1 lanching pads located there in WW2.
