today it’s the 12th of October Thursday and today it’s my birthday yes ladies I have came out on my birthday refused guys to share this amazing video with you guys because I thought to myself well I’m 39 years old now I’m nearly 40 I can’t be depressed sitting in the house so I’ll go out today and fill up a video with you guys and it’s a special one today my friends we are heading to one of my favorite Fish and Chips Restaurant to fill a fish and chips birthday cake yes I’m going to take you guys with me we’re going to Mark out of 10 as usual and you should probably know where I am right now I’m at New Haven and we’re heading to one of my favorite fish and chips restaurants the fish market here at New Haven now I’ve reviewed this place before I gave it a good Mark contend last time but this time we’re going to see what’s different compared to last time I know the prices have increased but we’re just going to look at the fish going to look at the Cur sauce we’re going to back out 10: we’re going to see if anything’s changed but what a great view I’ve got behind me and you’ve got the boats coming in here from out fishing from this morning and it is a lovely scen down here at [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] okay ladies and gentlemen I’m at the fish market here in New Haven and I’ve just received my hadock battered large one fish and chips got the receipt in my pocket we’re going to talk about price at the very end see there was a difference compared to last time we going to Mark out 10 but obviously is a special day today it is my birthday and with every birthday you need a few things you need a hat and you need a badge and with them the hat and the badge you’re all set it’s my birthday I’m sharing it with you guys we’re reviewing a fish and chips birthday cake here in fish market in New Haven but there’s one thing I’m missing ladies and gentlemen one thing that will make this birthday trip more special here comes the first fish and chips birthday cakes here it goes ladies and gentlemen I’m 39 today and this is my birthday cake a fishing chips yes and one of the best fish and chips here in edin br I can’t wait to tuck into this I mean the but is nice and crispy the chips are freshly cooked I’m 39 today I don’t want to be reminded so we’re just going to get rid of them don’t worry be reminded and we’re going to talk into this right now guys right okay ladies and gentlemen we’re going to tuck in to this fish and chips on my birthday so off the bat nice cooked fish atck but is crispy you can see there it’s nice and crispy golden brown skinless beautiful let’s taste it yeah oh it’s nice and crispy fresh fresh frish I mean that’s a fish right the but perfectly cooked no chaps no the chips are fresh to cook as well they’re fresh chips so they they do look nice that’s something there nothing special just chips yeah the chips are amazing nice cooked chips I love the weat chips and the crispy chips I love them they’re the best thing about a fish is the be crispy bits of chips I mean the crispy bits the best bit got some lemon as well add a nice be B touch to the fish put that over and also once again I’ve got curry sauce but it’s a special kind of curry sauce it’s not a usual curry sauce but you can see it here it’s a nice color to it I’m going to dip that in and see if it tastes the same but it’s really nice I really like this cut sauce yeah that’s really nice Cut sauce guys now I’m going to put the fish and the Cur sauuce because I can it’s gorgeous you can’t go wrong with a fish market you got incredible views of New Haven the boats are coming in with fresh fish throughout the day you saw there earlier there’s a boat return in he’ll deliver that to a restaurant or this place this place has got a boat that goes out picks up the fish and then comes back and they cook it that day it’s a big one fresh fish cooked to Perfection A lot quieter the day than it was last time the last time obviously I waited an hour and 20 minutes today I waited 2 minutes it’s 5 minutes to get your fish and chips cuz everything’s good fresh so it’s not like your normal chippy that you walk in and you see on the front everything’s there ready to go I don’t like that because they don’t tell you how long things have been lying about I prefer to have everything cooked fresh you’re paying the prices you want your food nice but when you turn up at half a over and a chiper when it’s about to close at 12 they won’t cook you anything fresh it’s either eat what they there but you have to pay the same price it should be discounted for sitting in that looking area for that length of time and you know when something’s been lying about for that long let me know in the comments if you agree are you quite happy just eating anything when you’re drunk go ahead and but I’m going to eat this fish and I’ll see you guys in a minute right ladies and gentlemen I’m got happy through my meal here and I thought i’ give you a we bit of information they have a restaurant as well that you can go inside and have this fabulous fish and chips inside on a restaurant scale kind of thing be bit more difference in price obviously you’re paying for service and sitting in the restaurant so it’s different it’s not the same as takeaway so remember that but you can take your fish and chips or anything else you want to order outside where I am sit here and enjoy the incredible views of New Haven and just enjoy your fish and chips here at the fish market that’s what I’m doing this is one of probably my favorite fish and chip shops I was speaking to the gentleman here and we were talking about H the proper fishing chips at Victoria Street how that’s very popular amongst tourists well tourists go that place because they don’t seem to come here more than what they would do in Victoria Street that’s got many reviews because they’ve not experienced fish and chips like that before they have the fish and chips I think it’s amazing they’ll come here and think this place is even better but they’ve got to come down here so it’s not far from edin you can now get the headen TR down here which makes it even easier to get down to New Haven it’s a short walk along from the last stop here at New Haven you get a bus down here too to Ocean terminal walk along you can also walk it you seen what the M Master did he walked it it did take him a bit longer than what I thought it would it is just over a mile to get here but it is over a mile depending on what we you come you know what I mean so depending on what road you take it could be a we bit longer if you’re coming for the center of Edinburgh so I do recommend Edinburgh TR now come down here walk along New Haven you got some incredible views of the harbor you’ve got the gym here too David Lloyd gym and yeah you got a nice Church in the background and yeah it’s always sunny down here so that’s the best thing it’s completely different area compared to Ur So I’m going to finish this uh fish and chips up guys and I’m going to catch you when I finish it make your even better oh you are amazing thank you you made it even more special from my lovely colleague oh thank you that is amazing that’s from the manager as well oh is that for the manager who’s the manager tell them I’ll come and see them after I finish but thank you very much yeah put it there oh check this out guys nice big ice cream for my birthday can’t wait to tuck into this hey guys check out this I’ve got myself some ice cream cuz it’s my birthday oh what a lovely staff member that is giving me this ice cream complimentary ice cream because it’s my birthday thank you very much New Haven fish market look at the size it man I mean look at them h I bet this is no 99 p a 99 flake I think they’re like5 AR they but it’s nice really nice I’m not even halfway finished and I’m struggling to eat this what an amazing ice cream guys amazing ice cream now I can’t really remember what price I played last time I think it was £10 but the price has went up 22 since then which is understandable the prices have increased a lot of restaurants have increased in prices H large harx supper £1 I think it was 10 last time so an increase to £2 curry sauce 150 there’s no change there and Coca-Cola diet coca got £153 in total I paid ,650 uh well worth the money I can’t Grumble with that I did get two Diet Cokes I did get curry sauce for £12 for a decent fish and chips you can Grumble with that you’re paying what between 10 And1 in the center Edinburgh just for a normal fish and chips that’s been sitting there for yks you come here spend that extra we bit of money and you get a better quality of fish and it’s absolutely delicious now I’ve got to say this is one of the best places I’ve ever reviewed H I just want to thank you to all the staff members the management team who gave me the ice cream and the balloon thank you for your kind words uh if you are visiting from our country you need to come here you need to visit the New Haven just for the views and you definitely need to check out the fish market for an amazian fish and chips now fish and chips is not to your liking uh they do have other things on the menu That’s not the only thing on the menu they have scampy a lot of fish M fish stuff like that they also have a sitting restaurant where you can sit in it’s a be bit more place here just remember that cuz it’s a restaurant but yeah there’s all all Lo something for you today down here lots of scenery uh there’s a couple of other places you can visit to if you don’t want to visit the
