Primo’s rogl struck a potentially defining blow up the top of the Ki dvar nobody able to stick to the slow ven wheel the final two days could change the destination of the doofan title but at the start Remco evapo digesting the swing that took him out of yellow the Belgian iring different objectives with a two def France on the horizon it’s actually going to be a nice uh General repetition for the last uh month stages in the tour uh they look a bit similar so uh yeah I think it’s going to be a good test to see how it feels uh how deep I can go actually and uh what the numbers will be at the end of the day sep cus was another left behind yesterday but a little easier to accept given Vima have mattio Jorgenson third 58 seconds from Rog glitch ahead of a monster ride oh I I have to see how I feel in the in the start uh I mean for sure there’ll be a big fight for the break and it starts a bit uphill so uh I have to see how I feel but uh yeah probably probably take it more more conservative and uh yeah just try and and uh help out as as long as I’m able to today proved a stage too far for ta gagen Hart the Welshman out but his Leal trick teammate look strong Julio Chone the only one to go toe-to-toe with RIT a top 10 finish in sight can the Italian go one better than yesterday and earn stage win like I said for me this race is like a test so every day I try to do to do my best and today I will do the same so I will fight and after the the stage we we see where I am but for sure after yesterday yeah I mean in my head I feel really good so I really have a good expectative on on my shape today the queen stage should be pivotal no fewer than three category 1 climbs the first 85 km should soften up the p on before the ey popping coash then it’s to Helen back after the C deas the uncategorized climb to the summit finish at samen more abandonments no shock after the past few days Nelson pois throwing in the tow while 12th overall sud a quickstep losing Elan vaner Remco Evo down to four teammates a nervous start it took until the C Dei for things to settle a group of 10 but without matis Leber unable to join the break likely a last day in polka dots surprisingly one of the stronger climbers gon Maran was to crack first inside the final 50k Marx air the main threat to Bora who remained mindful of the Gap as the lead group reached theas B kicked so Lair responded and even past the Britain the UAE Rider going it alone Bagel regrouping the DAR raferty and Fortunato 7K from the summit the tree are rejoined by Bowman and prom but they weren’t able to bridge the minute Gap soir seemed to be in his happy place as he climbed towards the rasma summit a maximum 10 points in the king of the mountain more interestingly soir the virtual leader of the do B for tonato the next across gathering enough points to go Fork C of Lear in the king of the mountain category soir smartly taken the corners cautiously in wet conditions for tonato chasing down the stage seven leader while Bora hanro became more active as cir headed towards the final 20K no challenge when it came to the Sprint bonification Marx aair wins the intermediate Sprint at L mil and now go forward to try and win today’s stage so L’s attack the main concern for rogich would his yellow Jersey be under threat as the final uncategorized climb began onto the final climb of the day the Summit is 10 km away the average gradient is 99.3% there’s the profile it’s fearsome uae’s man with over 3 minutes 30 on the yellow Jersey group Bora strong and powerful not everyone could keep up cous dropped the American will hope to ReDiscover his legs in time for the tour Jack ha also ran out of steam the first of the GC top 10 to Fall Away with 7 kilm from the Finish fortunat saw the Gap to cair double to nearly 2 minutes that all while one favorite was in difficulty Remco Veno is in trouble hanging on again at the back of this group the yellow Jersey group 11 strong for at this stage had Jay hindley and vlasov working for rogl Chone and Derek G again performing brilliantly to keep Pace Solair now having a horrible time unable to find his rhythm his solo Adventure all but over Jorgenson land and brago among the group preparing for the final flourish which Solair would take no part in caught finally the Spaniard might reflect that he went to too early so the stage Victory up for grabs vlasov once again sacrificing for RIT would it deliver another win or would somebody else step forward just past the flam Rouge we got our answer RIT goes left hand side big acceleration and there’s going to be Flatout Sprint between these Riders Primos RIT with 200 M to go getting ready for backto back stage wins Jorgenson trying to get get on terms trying to claw his way back to the win RIT still fires Primos RIT Mata Jorgenson but it’s going to be backto back wins for RIT vintage RIT back competing for the first time since the tour of the bass country crash no doubts now over Fitness or form heading into the tour def France and bora’s tactics again working to a te [Music] was a hard day uh but uh really uh guys did a incredible job uh I mean another day that we can yeah celebrate be happy after two months without a win two in succession the 34 year-old’s third career win of the doof Jorgenson second with Chone again on the podium RIT within touching distance of a second doin Triumph Jorgenson and Derek G top three just over a minute behind Evan aole slides to sixth overall over 2 minutes off the pace rogich also top of the points classification 10 clear of Chone the Italian will wear green again on the final day King of the mountain as well RIT will run out of space in his wardrobe for all those shirs L slides off the top to third for tonato in polka dots tomorrow bares Champion Jorgenson the best of the youth the American with nearly a minute over Carlos Rodriguez Remco down to Third tomorrow a further three category ones the Finish 10K at over 7% up to the plateau deer one final chance to try and unsettle the otherwise impervious RIT

    1. Rogla is in fine shape considering his shoulder injury playing up after the two falls this week. Bora looking good and strong. Let's hope the big three will all be at the tour and in good shape.

    2. Déjà qu'il est bien moins fort que pogacar, si en plus de ça il ne tente pas de plus loin il n'aura aucune chance. C'est pas très spectaculaire comme façon de gagner, efficace oui mais c'est tout.

    3. Remco will do well to start resting for the TDF. It’s going to much harder once the Danish Fisherman and Pog Machine arrive on the scene in a few weeks.

    4. Marc Soler and it was the only emotion in the stage. The rest was natural selection.
This is not a criticism of Remco but an example of the attitude of many modern cyclists, the race is unfolding in front of your eyes and you don't take your eyes off the cycle computer. It's not all about weight, height, watts.
Van der Poel has said it, all public information is not relevant to the true physical and mental abilities or limitations that are not communicated to journalists and fans.
The interesting thing has been everything that is outside the script of the analyzes and the previous ones.
I don't remember ANYONE talking about what we see in the top ten.
Derek Gee in the fight for the podium, Lazkano in the top ten, recovering a combative and encouraging Ciccone, seeing Vlasov as a luxury gregarious, no one saw that coming.
Everything else has been predictable. Roglič big favorite, Remco healthy or in shape cutting himself in the high mountains. Nobody sick or injured does a time trial at the Belgian's level. Everyone knowing Jorgenson's development at Visma.
The large number of abandonments is very disconcerting. More entertainment was expected due to the names of the participants.
Roglič is the fair and deserved leader but I don't think he is at this level to defeat Pogačar. I don't think Vingegaard will attend the Tour.
