stage six of the doin started under sunny skies everybody counting the cost of crashes some big non-starters and they’d have to ride 174.000 km all the way to the top of the k dalva for the first summit finish there at the doof since porito Rodriguez had won in 2011 an all category climb 11 km of steep gradients to finish many non-starters including Juan ausu as one of the headline names KV and Fala the headline names to have crashed the day before with fractures and out of the tour to France six Riders were up the road and six strong Riders too they had 6 minutes as a maximum Gap and as they came over the penultimate clim of the day the six Riders still had a good gap of 4 minutes although that was about to change on the sent Frenchman tibo gon and young British Rider Mason hollyman both crashed on dry roads after overcooking a corner the rest of the break Got Away With It fedu Lin caught and Greg the best plac in the general classification able to keep their advantage going downhill Gan would be up quicker hollyman would not get back to the Breakaway a few splits in a nerv as punch descending and as GC got back on with 33k to go up the road there’d be an issue the Tre chasing and at 30 km to go the Riders being sent the wrong way by the race organizers gab of almost 4 minutes was about to become quite a bit less what hasn’t happened in the do this week but back on track back on the right way and with Le Trek helping to commit sudar quickstep had controlled for most of the day and as we headed into the final climb that changed at the front inos grenadiers setting a strong Pace LED firstly by Josh Tarling in the Breakaway they realized the Gap was going down and greguar the 20-year-old French promise attacked with the already staged winner in yellow Jersey Court Dale gagan hart went backwards quite early on that left us all wondering whether he’d been affected by the crash his teammate chick Corney was still there and looking good and sepkus another early victim one of the briders who this climb suited the most it was suiting GG well he was away from Court the D strong ride back in the pelan RIT and aapol both crashed the day before jensson wasn’t far the GC fund started with a gap at 38 seconds and an attack from Lawrence to plusus first of all it was Lander who followed he stopped that following though and would Pace the yellow Jersey it will be Alexander vlasov to come across gregard at his nose blooded literally that was the conditions against him he was caught and passed and in the pelan they were attacking even naul starting to struggle RIT following Derek G putting in the mountain performance of his life jensson was there as well Rodriguez would come across and aapol needed all of the help from Mikel Landa just to limit the damage there were exceptional performances in the group chasing on as well scotson was there not just G impressing up front roglin managed to work his way under the wheel of Lov Lov was pedaling for his life and as was Remco iapo attacking to try and limit the losses RIT taken well inside the final few hundred meters by vlasov chor had been sitting on his wheel but it would be primar RIT just one win since shining borans just his third stage race of the season and Rit taking his first road win that other having been a time trial just before the crash in the bass country this was supremely impressive though and Rit looking very much like his very best second place to CH cor a good ride third to vlasov Derek G right up there in the GC that first ever altitude Camp paying off Jorgenson good and promising as well but for Remco iapo the damage limitation wasn’t enough to keep the yellow Jersey still solid enough from The Young Belgian but he would slip to second in the general classification RIT taking 42 seconds on the road out of him lost the bonuses [Music] he get the congratulations first from his family and then looking up at the classified results a mightily strong performance from borans RIT vaslov and Henley all in the top 10 RIT winning the stage an 80c Career Success and in the lead of the race that he won two years ago this though just the first of three successive Mountain stages and anything can still change but Delight for RIT for a handro man swapping that green jersey for [Music] yellow respect despite the big rivalry and it’s RIT now leading a theol by 19 seconds going into Stage seven Mattel Jorgenson is within a minute of the leader he’s at 58 Derek G up to an amazing fourth on GC celebrations then for RIT but it’s not done yet two big mountain stages to go starting in Olympic city in Albertville and heading up to Sam [Music] mil climb after climb after climb three first cats in an all category climb it’s Ray on at the doin and the GC it’s looking mightily entertaining [Music]

    1. "Blitzes his rivals" No clickbait here. He beat them, a blitz means totally wipes them out of the picture, 3 secs to Remco, is blitzing no one.

    2. Unfortunately as well as 'armchair generals' we now have 'armchair experts' who pronounce on the cause and inability to makes things safer for riders, 'we' just have to accept these incidents, all from the comfort of his armchair and having ABSOLUTELY NO ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPECIFICS OF THE CRASH. With friends like ex-rider Matt Stephens today's riders need no enemies! Making such comments with no investigation of the ACTUAL circumstances is grossly irresponsible and betrays the riders. If such fatalistic approach had been widespread we would still have air crashes regularly and cars without crash protection etc, just accepting problems is just dumb.
