are you both having the eite come on you get I’m going to get the other eite and you got your take measure this time Steen okay greetings to another video today I’m doing something that I’ve never done before and I want to take you along I’m in Manchester I’ve actually lived in Manchester for 10 almost 10 years and I love this city so so much for the music for the people for the cycling but I’ve never done like a a tour of Manchester to show you some of the iconic spot so the new thing about this as well we’re going to do it on rental bikes in Manchester there are Starling bikes which are like rental bikes so Me Stevie and Adam are going to go and do like a little checkpoint challenge of some of the most iconic spots in Manchester stford and Trafford because that’s where you can pick up and drop off the bike so let’s go so the three Ries uh we’ve all found ebikes we actually I actually rode a regular manual ping bike to find an ebike because I was like I want to try an ebik hello how’s the ebike oh [Music] look I’ll be honest when I first got on him I was like I was a bit scared and I was like oh I never know what to expect they’re really fun to ride so one thing you have B to see behind me is the bean Tower which is the tallest currently tallest building in Manchester and the bikes have got different locations in sford Manchester and [Music] Trafford I knew it was around here I’ve been here before I forgot it was just there just going to get the old Ki G on the first stop s Lads Club any of you music fans out there will know this was made famous by the Smith in I think it was 1986 for The Queen Is Dead album it was like one of the images inside the album and it’s just been adored by Smith fans ever since and honestly I think for me like the music is honestly one of the reasons why I moved to Manchester I love Oasis I love the Smith I just love everything around like that Manchester music scene so I remember coming here and they’ve got like a Smith’s room like a dedicated room inside so this is like the first little trip uh out so one of the reasons why I wanted to test these out is because they are like a really affordable cost effective way to travel around so maybe commuting whether you just want to come and do like a little tour if you’re visiting Manchester for the day and you don’t want to bring your bikes you can do I’m going to leave the actual route to this in the link so if you want to come to Manchester and do this exact route and come to all these iconics spots and you can I just heading up to s for Keys now Coronation Street is filmed here any Cy fans this is where it’s filmed I’m trying to get them to go up Jon Street which is like the steepest Cobble street it’s so steep isn’t it might have a little race at the end look at these two [Laughter] kids now you go steady Ste me these per both my new fans as well it was the theat and what is it now the theat of nightmare give us some feel on about the Glory Days when we won the Trel a long time ago long time ago now I did some Wikipedia on S L Club you you w’t bothered about that come on tell us that then come on oh we’re not there anymore 1904 it opened most famous for the Smith’s 1986 album yeah The Queen Is Dead them two are in PR TT mode look how fast they going and there’s load of these stations in Manchester s and Trafford that’s what they look like and now we’re at the famous Hender it’s kind of s it’s just been converted to Apartments is it yeah it was owned by Factory records Manchester music label uh James first gig here is a support act and he got offered a contract from fact labels he’s like oh I don’t know if I want it you know I’m independent blah blah blah I took a free uh LP uh record deal with him um there you go rest his history rest his history right St you’re a little bit older than us and you were here tell us about when you were here I was here as students at Manchester University mid 1990s the best memory I can’t really remember much about it and come on we wouldn’t be cyclist if we weren’t going to have like a little bit of a challenge of a climb this is the only climb in Manchester it’s called Jin street it’s Cobble and those two going have a little race up it I mean they on ebags but you still got to put some effort in go go my Stevie you’ve dropped him go go go go [Music] go that’s embarrassing Stevie B you walk is going on Stevie you can do it done it he’s done it he’s done it Go Go Goa [Music] breaks he stopped again I turned into G that was my favorite bit of all of it did you like it I’m so do I know it wasn’t even bad it wasn’t it was when you were in the wrong gear look the sun has come out for us we’re going to go and stop and have some beautiful food you going to try and literally ride it into the thing can’t see the wheel can’t see the wheel so close can make sure that that is locked in [Music] no it’s not tommies are full and then we’re going to go to our last stop now which is it do of town Adam has had to go back home and you know what else I really like and that is where we’re heading now to show you my favorite favorite favorite most beautiful building I think in Manchester sh’s library is there it is stunning I think it is just a beautiful building um it’s Neo Gothic any other thoughts about the building it’s nice it’s nice we can you can go in we have done so well dodging the rain so we’re going to go while we’re ahead because I think it is going to rain so I thought I’d give you like a little review of the bike so they are run by transport for greater Manchester they’re Starling Bank bikes and they fit between I think it was 4’11 to 6’5 you can just adjust adjust the saddle height they are pay you go you can buy like bundles of minutes I’m actually very impressed I’m not saying that I would go and ride like you know 200k on one but for what they’re for is in like just traveling around the city just getting from a point to a point they’re really sturdy they’re really like solidly built and I really like that they’ve got lights so if you’re going to come to the city you know you’re going to come to Manchester and you want to do this rout it’s a really good way of being able to see lots of things in like such a short period without having to bring your own bike if you commute if you live in like Trafford sford or obviously Manchester you can use them to commute and I think there is plans to like put them into the other borers of Manchester at some point so fingers crossed yeah I like them how do you feel about being defeated on Jon Street absolutely distraught he he blames on the gar I’m like it’s not the gear it’s not the gearing right let’s go before it rains let’s go let’s go let’s go okay see you all next video yes did you ride that straight into it no you did not thanks for riding
