hello to everyone this video is going to be different instead of giving you some kind of advice or showing you different parts of the world in this video I’m gonna show you my country Bulgaria actually this is more like invitation to come and see my country at the moment I’m in one very interesting place this is like a smile at New Village located around 60 kilometers West from my hometown Varna and it has this interesting Yurts [Music] here between 11th and 14th of May we’re gonna have this Bulgaria adventure group meeting it will take place exactly here and there will be at least 100 people motorcycle travelers from Bulgaria and I hope many from abroad so everyone who want to meet me can just come here and we’re gonna have a nice conversations this is our campfire this is going to be very big during the evening and all of us will stay here around there on one of the corners we’re gonna have lamp roasted for everyone who want to test it and if you are worried about accommodation you don’t have to because all of these beautiful Yurts they will be here for us so let me show you a few examples what exactly I mean what the accommodation will be and of course later I’m gonna discuss the prices and everything so there will be two types of Yurts this is the first type which is for how many one two three four eight people so as we can see they are very well equipped with double beds table this is the second type which include like a big family bed if you come with your wife and again with double beds for those of you who travel on a budget there is no problem to open your tent here behind the Earth the main idea of D7 is to meet people like you to talk on different motorcycle topics to discuss different destinations to gain some new information or to share your own experience so everyone is more than welcome to come and I’ll be really happy if I can bring people from abroad to see my own country [Music] Mommy [Music] my face [Music] [Applause] [Music] during these three days we’re gonna have also many different rides in the area so you can taste at least something from Bulgaria in one of the days I think was on Saturday we’re gonna have this interesting game named bug Explorer this is the name of the game and in this game everyone could be part of the game and try to find different touristic attractions here in the area we’ve done it last year and it happens really interesting many people enjoyed so we’re gonna have it again but not only this the whole area is something that everyone should visit if you want to come but you don’t want to stay in New York or to spend the night in the tent there is another one option it’s more like a super VIP option there are a few guest houses like this with everything that you can imagine they’ve got two like mirror bedrooms with bathrooms as you can see absolutely beautiful everything that you made need this is the second bedroom let me show you the butt just brilliant as I told you this yurt Park is located around 60 kilometers West from Varna and it is at the end of this small and beautiful Village named neovit rielski this is the center of the village a lot of development has been done here in the last few years because of the big Historical Park nearby that you can also visit but the reason I stopped here now is because again part of the accommodation this building over there will be finished after one month and at the beginning of May it will open as a hotel so they will have around nine double rooms on the top and one big apartment also underneath there will be a restaurant for 100 people and uh already on the right hand side where the workers are doing their job now at the moment with these stones will be a nice Market on which one you can try all bulgarians products so all of this now looks like construction works but it will be completely different in the beginning of May The Village completely changed in the last five years many new buildings were built many new Bridges a lot of people moved here to live because of the big Historical Park nearby many different opportunities for jobs and many more the center part of the of the village also was rebuilded as you can see Bridges fountains keep in mind that now it’s March after one month it will be even more beautiful and this is the hotel from above and next to the hotel on the right hand side this is the the church the small practice and you can see the construction works from here this is the restaurant part from inside not really yet but as I said at the beginning of May it will open all very nice decorated the same situation here in the hotel part not finished yet but I just spoke with the manager and he said in the beginning of may definitely open maybe in the middle of April this will be one of the corner rooms with a nice view and again typical Bulgarian style decorations and if you just walk 10 minutes away from here you’re gonna see the Historical Park [Music] oh okay [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh yeah baby baby [Applause] I’ve been here before maybe two years ago but since then many things have changed and maybe the best person to explain everything is my friend Plum and please explain a little bit more what is the idea of the park what is exactly and what was the progress that happened here in the last two years all right currently we’re on the territory of the biggest Historical Park in the world and Under the Umbrella of exact it’s the world Organization for experimental archeology what the most significant thing here is that in this territory you can see in one place that history and culture of Bulgaria during different epochs historical times starting from the new lit and ending to the second Bulgarian Kingdom for now two years ago it’s probably not already set when we were lost here the second Bulgarian kingdom was not ready yet this building yes exactly now it is ready it represents the battle towers of pliska the first capital of Daniel Bulgaria and the Tower of pressoff it is the second capital of Bulgaria here at this side of the Danube inside there are copies of the king’s Palace and some administrative buildings which are probably at the end of this summer they will be officially opened and you can actually see it and enjoyed the view because those are complete representation of the original buildings yes thank you very much so the idea is when you visit Bulgaria you can easily come here and see everything in one place without wasting any more time and then if you like you can go and visit each one of the places the the exact location exactly yeah yeah because uh much better is to see the thing already built in one place because when you go on the original spot there are only ruins you can most of the people cannot imagine the entire thing just by seeing the ruins so first come here see the entire building ready built and after that you can see the original spot yes I can confirm that even that I’m Bulgarian when I go to the Places original places it’s not the same like to see it in in one spot exactly all right thank you very much thank you very much bye guys every time when I come to this place I feel proud that I’m Bulgarian and I really hope that many people from around the world will come here visit my country visit this place test the local food test the local hospitality and finally change their opinion about my country so see you there guys ciao oh [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  1. I discovered Bulgaria in 2006, Wonderful country, Lovely people, Great weather, All at low affordable prices, I have spent many many happy holidays there over the years, I have flown and driven from the UK many times, Last year i finally rode there on a motorcycle with my son on the back, Traveled through many countries camping, However Bulgaria was our favourite, If you have never been i can fully recommend Bulgaria as a destination, Try a kebab at Popovo or a slice of pizza at Kaufland, Cheap good food for the traveler on the go, Bulgaria has so much more to offer than just the tourist areas on the coast, I hope i can make it to this event in May, I feel sure it will be worth the travel to get there.

  2. Thanks for sharing the event and the details. Well described. I love this series about your home country. I would like to come one day for your BAG unfortunately this time is colliding with my already planned motorcycle trip. Is it the same time every year?

  3. Hi Pavlin.
I be been watching your videos for a few years now. I like the philosophy you are approaching motorcycle travels. Your are doing a great job.

We are three friends form Larissa city located in central Greece. We had decided to spend a few days discovering the Rodope mountains and then travel up to Varna in the mid of May.
Yesterday I saw your post and I am already working on modifying our schedule so as to participate in this exciting moto-meeting at least for one evening (possibly Friday or Saturday). I will be glad to meet too personally.
    Vangelis.

  4. Hello Pavlin, I'm a student from Germany watching your videos for a few months because they seem to be made exactly for me: Right now I'm doing an Erasmus semester in Sofia until May/June – and last year I bought a '95 Transalp to explore Bulgaria and the Balkan countries in the summer. I plan to take it to Sofia during the easter break and I'm so excited about this. I hope I can make it to the BAG Meetup, it sounds amazing. Thank you so much for all the helpful information – I really appreciate what you say about treating people, being thankful, and respecting cultures. Maybe we will meet sometime and have a chat at the campfire? Greetings from Sofia!

  5. I live in the USA and it will be difficult to come this year. The pandemic and Biden’s horrible economy has slowed travel some. Eastern Europe is on my list and now Bulgaria is at the top of that list. I’m sorry to miss this event and meeting you. Ride safe and have fun. 🇺🇸

  6. Hey i really like your channel and i want to start in the Trail world. Between Ktm adventure 390 and cb500x honda which one would you recomend for me?. Greetings from Spain.
I cant take bigger bikes beacuse here in Spain you need to wait 2 years after getting the moto license to ride bikes bigger than 35kw.
My dream bike is your Yamaha T700

  7. I’m planning my first solo European bike tour this year and your videos have been invaluable, some excellent advice.

A friend of mine has just moved to Bulgaria and he says it’s a wonderful place. I hope next year I bike down to see him.

    Take care – Mike

  8. Excellent, well done. I'm returning to riding having retired a few months ago. So it is a bit too soon for a trip to Bulgaria, I need to spend a year exploring England and Wales first. But perhaps next year. Thank you for an inspirational post.

  9. A little short notice for me this year, as I only learned about your excellent channel a few days ago — but definitely something to plan ahead for next year, as I‘m planning a big
‚midlife crisis’ mile munching road trip around my home country (Bosnia), visiting all the cultural sites, monasteries (maybe even Mount Athos, but of course without the bike) and the good people all around the Balkans.

Hope showing up on a sports tourer (or even a Goldwing) doesn’t disqualify me from blending in with you Adventure Travel folks.

Anyway, I wish you great success and hats off to you and your friends for organizing it!

  10. Will stuff be largely in English or will I struggle to understand what is going on? Are there toilets and showers available if I camp too? Many thanks. Phil

  11. Здравей Павлине, ние сме група от Словакия и началото на юни ще пътуваме за около 4-5 дена в България – аз съм българин и навих останалите да пътуваме до България – ще се радвам ако се засечен някъде по пътя.

  12. Thank you for all the Bulgaria (and moto travel) insights! I've been going through a lot of your videos in preperation for my upcoming trip (first long camping oriented trip). I'll be coming from Spain, and I expect to cruise into Bulgaria around end of June/start of July. Very curious to see it in real life!
